$LCTX - No risk

Lately I've identified 3 stocks that I think have good daily waves or spreads. I plan to keep buying and selling them, holding them anywhere from less than a day to a few days. I've already invested once in them & have set alerts to buy them when they dip. They are: GLDG,NFGC, LCTX.

LCTX. No brainer.. add 3 years and it will no longer be sub 10 dollars.

Here quick overview of LCTX... (STEM) CELL therapeutics company focused on brining these types of therapies into a regulated market. One of their most exciting projects is OPRegen... it fixes an issue with the eyes in one treatment.. not only stops the degeneration.. but is actually showing to repair it in 36 month Phase 2 trials. It would be amazing to me if it does not come to market at some point between 2027-2028. No surprise.. after their successful announcement of the Phase 2 trials for OPRegen.. now they are getting funding for Diabetes cell therapy treatment. Frankly I was happy just riding this stock as it was.. if they can get great phase 1/2 results for Diabetes treatment.. it could be a major catalyst to see LCTX. Why is LCTX still under $2? Well Biotech tends to either be the best stock you own or it just falls from the sky. Its not super exciting and the process doesn't happen over night. Do your due diligence, but from what I have seen. LCTX has proven to be a legit entity operating with integrity. I believe their results.

LCTX is one of those high-risk, high-reward bets that I’m personally backing. The biotech / cell-therapy angle gives it real upside if their clinical programs hit. With analysts already putting it at $4.25, I think there’s strong potential.

I am in deep, hoping LCTX gets bought out at a higher price point, at a little bit later date. OpRegen just seems like an obvious slam dunk, just hoping the spinal cord stuff they are working on ends up being as successful. If they push off selling, then they probably have a lot of faith in it.. for whatever that is worth.

Why a phase 3 may be needed for FDA approval, if P1/2a results are already solid at 36 months readout? How long P3 may take? If P3 needed for NDA submission, when the drug can be in market? Maybe 2030? Also, any idea how expensive LCTX cell therapy could be? And how large the addressable US market could be considering competition from already approved drugs like Syfovre and Izervey, admittedly OpRegen must be the most effective option?

I made some more calls last night, **SNGX** nice pump, **VRAX** decent so far, expected more from **CALC** and **BEAT** but green is green. I spend a bit of time looking for plays for y'all, even if I don't have time to play them myself, so if y'all gain or lose money on them, let me know so I can improve. I'll continue to work hard to hopefully help everyone make something. Thanks! Still long on **EONR, BLNE, LCTX, UROY, PRPL**

r/pennystocksSee Comment

I've been burned by several local companies so I gave up on that route. I am rarely long on penny stocks but EONR/PRPL/LCTX/UROY/BLNE are on my radar

Seriously, I thought I sold all the stock out of a brokerage account, but still had some CBAY (CymaBay Therapeutics), that never hit the limit within the 60-days I guess.. just forgot about it. ended up getting a tax statement in the mail, and said what the hell.. lol ended up making some of the biggest gains ever due to their sale to Gilead. I plan to hold LCTX until they are bought out by Roche Genentech, or they go to zero. I would consider this high risk against the over all market, but when I stack them against other's in this industry.. Its hard for me to find a better place to put some money.

Didn't have a lot of time to look and nothing really stood out as a great pick. **BRN** If this hits 1.10 it may be good to load. Proxy battle ongoing with Sherwood. **SGMO** Chart Is looking like a dip PM or around open, and I'd expect 10% up after. **GVH** Shorts are in heavy. Watch for covering over the next couple days. **UPXI** Will either correct up for 10% or go down another 10 to 20%. I'm still long on BLNE and LCTX.

Yes, Roche has licensed the rights to Lineage Cell Therapeutics' (LCTX) eye drug, OpRegen, for the treatment of geographic atrophy (GA) in patients with dry age-related macular degeneration. The deal involves an upfront payment of $50 million to Lineage, with potential milestone payments reaching up to $620 million. Lineage will also earn double-digit royalties on sales. Here you go buddy

I know many don't look at penny stocks for long term, but here's a few I've been mentioning and like: **LCTX** Thanks u/SushinWasabie **BLNE** **UROY** Other possible: **EONR** once they finish the inevitable round of funding and announce workover or additional roll-up **PRPL** if we get more news that looks like M&A progressing

r/pennystocksSee Comment

**GNPX** At 90D support level near 52w low as of today, may bounce tomorrow *but could continue down* **MBRX** Offering closed, should recover some tomorrow with the 1 year cash runway at current burn rate **MSAI** Nothing special here but looks like it might dip some further and rebound tomorrow. Decent company with high insider and institutional ownership. **WINT** Possible small recovery but likely will continue down **LCTX** Long on this one, looking like the FDA will ease up given the reduction in risk. It's been climbing.

As another guy said, financials don’t really matter for small biotech companies. For the most part they are all bleeding money. What you want to look for is if they have big backers that will cover future development for the foreseeable future if/when they hit their clinical milestones. LCTX has this When playing biotech stocks look for upcoming press releases (trial results), FDA approvals and buyouts. The stocks jump big on these and you should time your purchases/sales in anticipation of these events. Other things to look for are target population. Their phaseII opRegen has a very good market. I personally don’t invest in any Biotech companies focusing on rare diseases.

Just because 100 baggers are crazy hard to find, I'd go for an Anti-aging stock like LCTX, AGEX, UBX. Although there's no way to know where a big breakthrough could come from. It could completely transform the industry if an anti aging treatment came out that truly prevented the aging of cells. And it would certainly be acquired by a large pharma as it would hurt the revenues of almost all other drugs.

Cleveland Cliffs (CLF) looks undervalued. You may be able to catch a dip going into this weekend. I believe their earnings is next week and I'm confident they will crush revenue, profit, and guidance expectations. I would also anticipate to see them announce another large acquisition in the first half of 2022. I'm expecting to see the stock price between $22-$25 over the next three months, conservatively. GameStop (GME), despite it's rich valuation, looks like it's set for a strong reversal, based on technicals. I could see it easily rebounding to the $225-$250 range, over the next few months. Their earnings, toward the end of March, should show robust holiday sales, especially driven by multiple limited realeases of PS/XBOX consoles. They have a billion dollars in cash, minimal debt, and a strong investor base (similar to Tesla). Also, they share a strategic partnership with Microsoft and are developing an NFT marketplace, which could have huge implications for the gaming world. If you're looking for a high-risk, high-reward homerun play, I would look into speculative biotechs. The whole sector is way oversold, with major pharmaceutical companies having consolidated the lion's share of capital. In this market climate, with rising inflation and expected rate hikes, I expect to see the larger companies laying out their cash on M&A deals. My three favorites are Albireo Pharma (ALBO), Lineage Cell Therapeutics (LCTX), and Progenity (PROG). All three boast impressive patent portfolios and are de-risked, IMO. I think any of these are prime acquisition targets, with the possibility of netting a 5x-10x ROE, with an M&A deal. Obviously, this is a much riskier approach.

While I agree that these companies are overvalued, I also support the unpopular opinion of consolidating your portfolio into high-conviction picks. I would say to do some valuation models (considering multiple approaches) and risk analyses with your picks. I think you can find better value/growth picks and M&A targets in each of these sectors. With that being said, I don't believe in diversification (especially if you're younger) because it can water down/cap your results. This is a good model for high net worth investors, as the growth on the arbitrage compounds, while reducing risks in any single stock. High concentration in quality picks can drastically change your results, in your wealth growth stage. So, it all depends on your time horizon and risk aversion. Personally, I only ever hold a handful of stocks, in which I have done extensive research on and feel have room for large price appreciation. I establish valuation models relative to peers, based on TAM, revenues growth, debt/cash stability, enterprise value, and margins, to name a few. I also consider non-financial factors, like management, M&A probability, and economic moat (competition). I chase multiples, not percentage gains; meaning I look for which stocks are most likely to double, triple, etc. my investment. I currently hold 5 stocks, none of which I can post here, due to sub rules. My portfolio is up around 250% this year, 700% from a year ago. Some of my previous winners were AMD (900%), CRON (400%), CVRS (350%), LVGO (450%), and LCTX (350%).
