LWLG could be an interesting squeeze candidate. ~19M shares short out of ~116M outstanding. Fundamentals are stronger than ever — the company just announced a collaboration with Tower Semiconductor and is working with tier-1 partners on electro-optic polymers for AI datacenters. If the first commercial deals hit, shorts could get trapped fast. Just my opinion, but the current valuation could look extremely cheap if commercialization starts.

LWLG is the next AAOI and nobody is talking about it here, so weird
LWLG had a blow off last night. Curious to see how much of a run it can sustain. MBOT has been steadily climbing and building momentum. CDXS reported a profitable quarter and EPS .15 higher than estimates with decent guidance for the year. CDXS is a biotech company that synthesizes proteins using proprietary technology. Stock is trading $1 off last October levels and $1.5 off its 52 week high. They are building a new facility so I don’t think the profitability continues all year but near term I see them making most of that back. LWLG is a data center play that just signed a partnership with TSEM. They have a proprietary polymer they claim transmits data faster and uses less energy. MBOT is my favorite. They make robot spiders that crawl up your butt and save your life and stuff.
A lot of tech has been pumping for years, this sector is waking up big and photonics could be a huge part of the future. Just look around at things like data centers. Photonics will change the game if even just a few of these companies succeed. Anyone who does a deep dive into it will see the same imo. LWLG is my fav for upside from current levels but I have a bit of AAOI, POET and AXTI for the long haul.

From what I could gather from the people making assumptions on the LWLG subreddit, Broadcom is the most returning name. LWLG makes these polymers that are now mostly being tested for use in electro optic modulators, but can also be used in different areas like lidar or quantum computing, basically everywhere where light and electric signals need exchanges
I don't necessarily believe poet or celestial ai are competitors. They both are providing architecture/infrastructure solutions for photonics, Lightwave Logic provides the building blocks. I wouldn't be surprised that in the future Poet makes a platform integrating LWLG Perkinamine polymers if it proves easier to package than let's say tfln photonics

LWLG Datacenters have to go faster and more efficient. Lightwave Logic has a proven material that can start the introduction of Electro-optical polymers in all internet infrastructure, allowing more data to be transmitted at significantly higher speeds and with less power than existing solutions. 2 Big players in the datacenter field are testing the LWLG polymers in new modulators right now and if these tests are a success, we can see commercialisation by the end of the year.
ALMU, POET, and LWLG are not even close to profitable. Why would you be interested in them?

There's this thing called the thermo-optic effect; simplified, temp changes fuck up the optical signal. Chips are hot, optical lines are not, so the optical signal gets fucked up along the way. The current tech is running a heater wire with the optical lines to balance towards the chip temp. This means more power, more heat, all the bad shit that optical interposers are trying to bring down in the first place. LWLG makes a specialized polymer that negates the thermo-optic effect entirely, and they're the only ones working on foundry PDKs. POET kinda needs LWLG.
If you're into POET, you should be into LWLG. They're kind of a package deal.

Superstar leadership team with long history in photonics, and newcomers from INTC, AMAT, Coherent, Lumentum. $GWH Long duration energy storage (LDES) systems, substantial institutional ownership by Honeywell and SoftBank, renewables need LDES so that energy keeps flowing when the sun and wind are having a rest. LON:ENSI Complex mixed signal ASIC designer and supplier, ASTS are using their designs, will most likely have a trajectory similar to Filtronic (LON:FTC)
The future is indeed bright (what pun?) and it is also worth looking at $LWLG, high chance their electro-optical modulators will be in every single optical interconnect everywhere.

You may be right and here's a bit of trivia regarding LPC and another stock. I'm invested in LWLG so I did as much a deep dive as I could into Lincoln Park Capital, and the dilution dates along with the subsequent stock price spikes do not appear to be coincidental, so the most recent dilution for PSTV may determine how the stock price will move. Having said that, several other biotech companies that have had financing agreements with LPC have plummeted to unfathomable depths. Either way, dilution is very much preferred to other financing as it keeps debt to essentially zero, so it's not always a red flag.
Your insight was spot on it seems! I only discovered this post as I was doing a ChatGPT deep-dive on LWLG (after I bought at absolute rock bottom price a few months ago, can't even remember where I found it, this is just the first indicator of what a degenerate reprobate I truly am). I started comparing the stock price moves to when LPC were buying up equity and holy fuck man does everything line up or what! Now I am not clever enough to figure out if there is an actual product here, but if there is and these scam dilution tactics are the "cost of business", we do indeed live in amazing times for humanity! Even if they have nothing, I am still holding on for the next big P&D event which doesn't seem too far away...
LWLG and AKBA are in the $3 range. Both are growth stocks with breakthrough technology on the verge of sales and financial success. Study them.
Buy LWLG while you can still get it cheap. It may take a couple years, but this stop is absolutely set up for at least a 10 bagger. They have the tech that every datacenter is going to need for data transmission going forward
