I am holding $RVPH and $MIST and this hasn't been the best of my days. But their time will come!
Going to start in MIST over next few days as they have a PDUFA coming up in December and for the most part they were turned down in March for manufacturing issues. This time round should be good. Deadline is 13th December so should start to move up over next few weeks.

I’ve just put a stake on MIST - a pharmaceutical company that is supposed to get approved in December. After several mistakes with the FDA, it appears that they finally have their ducks in a row. It’s still very cheap right now because most investors deserted it in the spring when they realized they had to wait longer for approval after MIST kind of blew it with the inspection process and something else- I forget. The medicine seems to be fine. But the facility changed and needed an inspection just as the deadline hit. Anyway, everything seems to be all ready and the extra time helped MIST Pharm to prepare for all out marketing blitz and customer orders as soon as all the Ts are crossed in December. I think December 13th.

MIST, pretty de-risked PDUFA date of December 13th. Hammered by dilution (so no more until the PDUFA) + getting a CRL solely based on manufacturing rather than efficacy in their first submission (historically this is a great sign for approval on the second submission). Current standard of care for their treatment is going to the hospital, so limited competition and around a 2 billion dollar potential market. I’m accumulating at around $1.5 and am planning to continue until the PDUFA date
I’ll also add one, I think MIST is very undervalued. Stock took a beating due to getting a CRL + dilution to keep funding up, but the CRL was only due to the manufacturer of the drug, not anything to do with the drug itself which de-risks it some in my head at least. Also a decent sized market where the only current treatment is going to the hospital. Their new PDUFA is December 13th and I think $1.50 warrants will keep the price around there so plenty of time to accumulate
i rode from 2500 up to about 11k on SPGC only to have to tank hard and take most of it back. MIST took the rest.

Because biotech has no soul. So they get approved, then what? It’s not like this is going to change people’s lives. Maybe if people ate better, got fresh air and exercise, made better mental health decisions and stopped pouring money into failing biotech, we’d actually have a world people want to live. Instead, we have a world controlled by drug companies that should have failed. But something with soul. $MIST is definitely **NOT** it.

Fundamentally, MIST operates with zero revenue and a quarterly operating burn of about $42 M. It’s a pure biotech play centered on upcoming Phase 2 data for etripamil, with no commercial product yet. MIST was up 6.7% today and surged 68% over the past month. The stock has cleared its 20-day (1.91) and 50-day (1.61) simple moving averages and sits near $2.58—approaching its 52-week high of $3.52. The next catalyst, as you say, would be approval in early 2026. If not approved... then what? Honestly, if you road the 68% increase this past month, I'd be taking profit. For new investors, it seems late in the game for this current run, and too early before any movement from the FDA. Usually you want to hit in run these penny pharm companies right before or right as the news is coming up to ride it for a 1-2 days max, then sell and take the profit.
Holding a small position in MIST, patience game for me. I dont expect it to run much from the news.

Okay obvious ChatGPT. Biopharma stocks can be profitable but their operating research costs are through the roof so they aren’t fully profitable until they have several drugs finished in pipeline. The best thing for penny stock pharma is to be bought out or sell/license their drug to bigger whales like AstroZeneca(see CDT). Even if they create it, they rarely have the resources for manufacturing and distribution. The smart way to not get burnt in hype on these companies is day trade, don’t marry, look up pipeline data for anticipated key dates, and try to find any with orphan drugs. Buy the rumor, sell the news, see MIST with a sharp increase prior to expected PFDUA date but a quicker tank because it was rejected.
Yeah, I lost big on MIST. I think I bought the MBOT option a month or two ago. It’s down now with underlying but I have till October to get above 2.50. 300 dollar risk for a lot of upside if the FDA approves. Shit, I lose a lot more on these stocks on this sub then the 300 premium for MBOT

Thanks for the additional thoughts. I would also think they would know the requirements for premarket approval, but incompetency happens sometimes and I'm just trying to gauge the probability of success here. I'm just very hesitant after hearing a lot of the same optimism about MIST, who were also ramping up towards a commercial launch of their drug, only to end up getting a CLR (I think the equivalent for a medical device would be an "approvable letter").

How are you so sure that they will get approved? It could be like the MIST situation where the FDA issues a complete response letter and that caused their stock to crash more than 60% in a single day. It was not even that they were not approved, it was due to two key Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) issues

I had no part of it but I've just read the statement from MIST about how they are trying again to get CARDAMYST through FDA approvals, it was their production facility/manufacture that was the problem. Its nosedived to 0.87 but they are looking to relaunch in 2026. Worth a though, don't put your house on it but they are trying to get it out there.
