I lost about 30k, went from 50 > 20k, in one year fucking around with optins ands falling for Ackman BS SPAC. I kep some shit in and bag held for about 4 years and now im back green. TY Sofi and NAK haha.
US gov announced today that copper, silver and rhenium (among others) are all critical metals. NAK has those in abundance. Gov's legal response in court to NAK's motion is due on Jan 2. I would think that the Gov and NAK work out a deal - Gov green lights Pebble and Gov gets a percentage of NAK (similar to UAMY and TMQ and MP). Downside is there, but limited compared to big upside if deal is worked out in the next few weeks.
I would Watch the unusual options flows everyday. Both CRML/LAC/MP all had super suspect trades 15 mins before close the day those were announced. Then you don’t have to guess. Just make a scan for TMC/NB/NAK or any other rare earth that hasn’t gotten a deal. Filter it to this weeks + next weeks expiry and look for contracts with more than 100. CRMl had 14 sweep printe at the same time stamp for 15k premiums in each, 15 minutes before close on that friday they announced it

The government's opposition to NAK's legal brief requesting summary judgment is January 2. That seems to be the deadline for them to come to some type of resolution. I have a hard time believing that Trump Admin wants to oppose this mine. They tried to work out a deal but the deadlines kept getting extended which likely forced NAK to ask for scheduling order from the court setting deadlines for NAK's motion to summary judgment. If we don't have a resolution about the mine by Jan 2nd, then it will likely be bad for NAK. If it goes to the judge for decision, NAK will likely lose. However, if this case can make its way to the US Supreme Court, the conservative justices may side with NAK for a variety of reasons. But that would be several years down the road. Downside is limited but big - perhaps down 50-70%. But resolution could easily mean 10X gains or more.

Mostly, yes. People are buying what companies could be worth if all long-term White House aims are met, in excess of what the companies actually offer medium-term. NAK is a fantastic example. Their chief asset is mired in a litany of legal disputes that mean it's unlikely to ever see the light of day. Non-US REE penny miners in similar positions (e.g. RBW and ETM) trade at a fraction of NAK's value, though their assets are much more promising. WWR is another example. I described their price as 'speculative' several days ago, before the 30% crash. Having the most developed graphite project in the contiguous fifty States is impressive - long-term ten-bag potential - but it's invisible next to the graphite China mines and exports *daily*. American investors just don't understand how badly they're losing the critical minerals race. UUUU is less obvious. The company's inflows are very diverse, but share price far outstrips fair value and nuclear energy won't be rocking up to turbo-charge the revenue for several years yet. Ultimately it's a better nuclear energy play than a rare earth stock. If someone wants rare earth upside without exposure to general commodity price swings, they're better off in the ETF.
$NAK is the play. when China limits rare earths further I think Trump will have incentive to sign an executive order to begin development on Pebble Project in Alaska that is currently tied up in legal issues.
