SLS might explode to 50 upon a great readout a few weeks after trial ends in a few weeks/months. January 27 calls are very low still. I like AIRJW warrants also.
Every generation... blame the one before... Fr, though, I'm very new to self directed investing. January 1st this year! Can you imaging what that's like haha. "Ooh, silver is more valuable now? Whoops! ASTS will connect every human? BOOM! OPTX makes lenses or something? Wheeeee!" I'm going SLS, SIVEF, MUU to the moon and rotating into DRTS, ASTS, and Pesorama as the money comes in. Also FIX go up. Seeing all this Mag7 talk then looking at the charts is like "Huh?". I get it: they make a lot of money... and the price goes down. We have tons of information now. Not a yearly check up with a FA on a phone and a dusty newspaper every day. Keep shit pushing or keep shit moving.

First thing i'll say based on what I've observed is that there is a definite bubble in the optics/photonics market as a whole. I challenge you to find a stock in that space that hasn't moonshotted in the last few months as people aren't sure which optics/photonics companies will be the winners, so they are investing into ALL of them. Here's the agent response: "OPTX isn't on the list and it's a clean illustration of what the screen ignores: the chart. The stock is up roughly 10x in a year ($1.18 to $13.58 high), but the underlying business did not grow at all. FY2025 revenue was $28.1M, down 1.3% from 2024, with a net loss, negative ROIC, and roughly zero EBITDA. That fails three gates on contact: the $50M revenue floor, every growth gate (13-20%+ depending on archetype, vs -1.3% actual), and basic quality (returns on capital are negative). What the 10x run is pricing is the story: record space optics production, AI data center optics starting up, and the 2026 defense bill pushing domestic sourcing of optical systems. Those tailwinds are real, and to be fair the margins did expand and the loss narrowed. But right now you're paying \~17x sales for a $28M contract manufacturer whose revenue went backwards last year and whose own guidance has Q1 2026 down sequentially. The screen scores delivered compounding, not anticipated compounding. If the AI/defense products actually show up in the numbers, meaning revenue crosses the floor and grows 20%+ for a couple of years, it enters the universe automatically and gets scored like everything else. Until then it's a narrative trade, and narrative trades are someone else's department."

It’s hard to say because photonics companies are very broad in various industries. I’m not an expert but what I read in general regarding OPTX is more centered around defense, but they also have many commercial avenues, probably not CPO or data center related though, but important to the overall photonics arena

$OPTX will be an AI game changer. They already have a major partnership with Anduril, several more DOD contracts cooking in the pipeline but they will providing the AI optics to every US soldier. It’s dipping now, I’m dcaing but this will be a game changer.

Some of these despacs are really flying. Personally doing quite well on these OPTX warrants. It took a lot of patience but these SPACs actually do pay off sometimes.

My big wins were OPEN PATH GETY UAMY LUMN PTON OPTX It was the best year financially in my 40+ years. Am down about $50K from a couple months ago but took plenty of money out to make it real.

It was definitely one of the better ones I found recently. I look for stocks that were on an up trend for a while, and then has a major sell off , and has found a bottom. If I feel like the market over reacted, I will hop in and ride it back up over a month or 2. My long term hold is ONDS . One stock I found recently that might be interesting is Syntec optics - OPTX . But I can’t find a whole lot of info , kind of like HIT ..

They make optics for rocket engines, space stuff, night vision goggles, AI stuff, fiber optics....anything optics, these guys seem to make. I believe this company can be a great company, and they are in all the right industries that seem to be in high demand right now, just need traction.

$OPTX - SYNTEC OPTICS This is a company that, with a little traction, will shoot to the moon. It makes optics for EVERY "it" category. SPACE, ENERGY, DEFENCE, AI...fuck you name it, these guys are building optics for it...and expanding into new areas it seems monthly. I love the stock, and expect nothing but good things to come for the savvy investors out there. Put this one on your radar!
