I haven't looked at RIG in years, almost forgot about it. I traded it a few times years and years ago, I think it was called Transocean Offshore back then. It's had an interesting history if you go back a few decades to the Gulf War and all the turmoil. You are right that it looks like it is bottoming and at a very good price, and you are right about the insiders getting 10k shares here and there too. Forecasts on TrView charts show mostly much higher prices in the 1 year time frame: 6 and 4 bucks a share being the two highest. Looks like a good place to buy. The only Oil and Gas related stocks I have right now are 2 strange ones called SJT San Juan Trust that I regret buying, but finally looks like someone has decided to accumulate. (the other one is PVL which has much the same story). Look at the chart of SJT and you can see there's been a change of character, someone big out there seems to think it's a good buy even though they stopped paying their monthly distributions a long time ago, 2 months after I bought it. There's no reason I can see for anyone to want that stock, but someone does, so that means they know something that isn't obvious to the rest of us. They might see some type of embargo, or shortages, or slowdown in drilling that will drive the price up. If we attack Iran or something crazy, prices could soar. There's no certainty in any of that, but the likelihood seems to be for eventual higher prices rather than lower. RIG certainly can triple or 4x a lot faster and easier than any of the big boys. RIG is a buy here, and anybody who thinks otherwise is welcome to go short and see how that works out.

now rates better, i buy/roll 4 week tbills every 2 weeks with 50% of my excess cash, on monday i got one paying 5.34% when rates low, must take more risk to get returns so consider BDCs ,business development companies like Blackstone Secured lending Fund (BXSL) up 20% on year and pays 11% dividend, or Hercules Capital (HTGC), up 12-13% on year and 11.5% dividend, or Ares Capital (ARCC), Ready Cap (RC), or consider OIL/GAS Royalty Trusts , PVL/PBR/SJT etc all paying >10% dividends, you can create a little fund of 7 to 10 of these to decrease the individual risk

Check out GOGL, SBLK, GAIN, PVL 2 shipping plays with dividends over 30% Gain has a monthly dividend of .8 cents or 7.51% and has been increasing for last 10 years. PVL owns a bunch of oil wells and they own the royalties from oil that is sold. They have been increasing the monthly dividend for the past 10 years as well. Currently .5 cents per share a month.

r/investingSee Comment

GOGL, GAIN, PVL Shipping, BDC, and Royalties paid from oil wells. They all pay dividends and are great long term stocks with increased dividends consecutively over past 10 years.

I think im one of the few who owns PermRock Royalty Trust $PRT and Permianville Royalty trust $PVL. Its very low cap under 500m. But they both sound like great opportunities and also buy out potential by bigger Royalty companies like $VNOM or $BSM.

AUMN and GAU are proving to be great gold buys. PED AND PVL are running hot as well.

r/pennystocksSee Comment

AUMN GAU PVL PED NGL I've been saying them for a week now. They're already up about 5% today and climbing. I'm holding them until at least summer.

r/pennystocksSee Comment

AUMN GAU PED PVL On the one hand, I'm going to be pissed when gas hits $4 a gallon again. On the other hand, my oil stocks are solid green while tech/bio is burning.

r/pennystocksSee Comment

Markets are absolutely tanking, but I got out of most of my companies as soon as I saw Russia's crap and moved into gold and energy. Love seeing green on a super red day. AUMN PVL UEC PED.

r/pennystocksSee Comment

Bought AUMN GAU NGL PED PVL I'm going to bet on gold and oil companies which are both up already today. Also, every single one of these are trading above their 50 day moving average. AUMN just reported good results from their most recent drilling exploration. PVL pays a monthly dividend as well

AMC, as is tradition. MRIN, only 10m float, 190% SI, shorts need to find 3x the retail owned float to cover. Lol PVL, not a meme, just a solid penny stock with a long uptrend. Good long term.

r/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

Tomorrow at open: $AMC BUY MOAR $MRIN Buy some. Low float (~10m), high short interest (189% last friday), 60-70% owned buy retail hodlers. Has made 1000% gains in less than 2 weeks. Should pop, maybe not $500, but it looks like a steal at $21. No options available. $PVL Not a meme, long term hold that has a strong uptrend YTD. Lined up to pay off debts and return to paying dividends by EoY. Low entry point of $2.02. I am not a financial analyst. I am not rich with 1000s of shares in these. I'm just a regular guy who likes numbers.

MRIN is fighting to squeeze. The shorts were fighting to bring it below $20 and failed. It was sub $3 last weekend, and is currently sitting at a massive SI. There are no options available for this stock, so you gotta be in or out. PVL is a good long term non-meme hold. Its at 2.02 a share and in a strong YTD uptrend. Fundamentals are average to good and look to get better as 2020 gets further away. I think this will head back to the $5 range over the next year. Again, no options available, but its low cost and low risk. I am not a financial advisor, nor am I a rich guy. I just like numbers.

They are not legally able to call their customers fucking morons and have to beat around the bush instead. You want me info about dividends distributed by $PVL since 'the end of last year'? Well, you fucking moron, they haven't paid dividends since June of 2020. https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/stocks/pvl/dividend-history They were trying to tell you to Google it like a big boy.

Mostly using the wheel strategy, selling cash secured puts. If the play goes bad you end up with stocks to sell covered calls on. Also minimizing my percentage of options vs holdings. 80% of my portfolio is on stash for long term holds and about 20% in webull for options. NEVER sell naked. Always covered calls or cash secured puts. I rarely buy long calls or puts any more unless I am 99% confident in my pick and its inexpensive. Another channel with good strategies I like is Market Moves. Kinda click baity but there is some gold in there. Take it slow. Very few people get rich quick. If you are patient and do your research eventually one day you might get lucky. But *almost* no jumps in and makes 1000% gains. I like the wheel strategy because if you play it right you can still get 10% returns almost monthly. $ELP, $DNN, & $PVL are some penny stocks I've been using as cheap practice. Also maybe paper trade to test your strategies. But I try to practice with the cheap stuff and slowly scale up. Be aware though that even the best strategies with 90% win rates will eventually go bad at some point.

You need to learn about credit and debit spreads. The real money is in selling options. My favorite is the wheel strategy. Start with selling a cash secured put. If it goes against you, you get stocks, then turn around and sell covered calls. $PVL $EPL & $DNN are 3 penny stocks im currently running wheels on.

Interesting company, thanks...I live in oil country and had no idea these trusts existed! I might still invest (might be worth it just for the dividends), but the excerpt below from the 10k concerns me in the longer term. My interpretation of the first sentence is that this is basically a "good faith" arrangement with the operator, Coert Holdings. https://sec.report/Document/0001104659-20-034069/ "The Net Profits Interest is passive in nature and neither the Trust nor the Trustee has any management control over or responsibility for costs relating to the operation of the Underlying Properties. The Net Profits Interest entitles the Trust to receive 80% of the net profits from the sale of oil and natural gas production from the Underlying Properties during the term of the Trust. The Trust Agreement provides that the Trust’s business activities are limited to owning the Net Profits Interest and any activity reasonably related to such ownership, including activities required or permitted by the terms of the Conveyance. As a result, the Trust is not permitted to acquire other oil and natural gas properties or net profits interests or otherwise to engage in activities beyond those necessary for the conservation and protection of the Net Profits Interest" I also stumbled upon this 2019 article...it seems that PVL is somewhat unique in that there isn't a set date for dissolution. As all O&G wells are "declining assets," this means that there might not be much value left to disperse when the assets finally give out... https://mercercapital.com/energyvaluationinsights/from-enduro-to-permianville/
