I'm looking at $NTLA as well. One thing I don't like is that stock recovery isn't 100% post-event. I might trade sideways for a bit before moving back up. Ok someone explain the risks of this stupid strategy I have that somehow seems to keep working. I have no idea what I'm doing so I know this eventually won't work. I find low cap pharmaceutical companies that have a PDUFA (FDA Drug Approval) date coming up. About two weeks before, as long as it hasn't already been pumped, I buy ITM call options dated like 4 or 6 weeks away. Then I sell them just before the PDUFA results are actually announced, betting on a runup before the news. Because I don't know enough to try and predict if I think it will actually be approved or not. I did this with RCKT just recently. I just don't understand because it feels like this pattern happens all the time. I don't really trade much but everytime I've done this the past couple years its worked. I'm just an idiot getting lucky right?

I’m not qualified to give advice on this but I can tell you which ones I own. There are so many to choose from though and it is a risky sector. This is apparent by looking at the volatility of many biotech stocks. I have BLUE, HOLX, DVAX, NVAX, RCKT, HCAT, TDOC, TXG, PACB, YI.
The smart people realize the PND and try to get in on thr money from the bagholders. I have. But I never advertised the pump and I always warned of the dump but if you're going to give away money... might as well not let the scammer get all of it. My comment was a general one about gene therapy, and an incomplete list of tox-challenged companies at that. If you want to go a layer deeper, looking for most relevant AAV tox issues for TSHA, you first look to AAV9 in general — and here, Solid Bio has been on multiple clinical holds in the past and then a patient in Pfizer’s study of their AAV9 drug for DMD died last December (there are others eg RCKT AAV9 asset was on hold recently too), then you can look specifically at intrathecal AAV9 in case you think that delivery route could reduce tox — and even almighty Novartis’s intrathecal study of Zolgensma (AAV9-based) was put on hold in 2020. For my money, only the next gen AAV capsid discovery cos like FDMT have a chance at this point and even they are suffering from the general pessimism gtx is facing right now.
All of gene therapy has been declining recently because of some safety issues a few of the companies have had eg ADVM, BOLD, RCKT. And TSHA is making drugs for very small disease populations. This is a very complicated market area. Not recommended for people just starting out.

GME and AMC have been held together for quite some time and consolidating, but it is possible everyone just all of a sudden stops buying options on them and the price crashes. This has been happening more often on other meme stocks like CLOV, WISH, RCKT, BB, etc
