i hate to say it, buy my wife insisted on Gold and Silver Options. she had gotten the bug in 2024 when she had me purchase DWAC(DJT) and RUM calls. she witnessed the Leverage she had and made a lot of profit off those Calls. in 2025 besides gold and silver she has BW,WBD and RUM calls. soon (after jan1st) more DJT calls. she listens to alot of political stuff (podcasts) and i never ask her about it. my portfolio sucks, while hers is up 700% Ytd on schwab. when she gets another itch to buy i will let you know.....

I have to track all her positions and it keeps me busy. i research her recommendations. she watches pod casts all day and comes up with some crazy trades. i just watch the profit increase daily and relax. that is my trading style now. The boss is in control and she let's me know it !

What goes down isn't really required to come up.... When the advertisement is literally: “immune to cancel culture” that doesn't ring any alarm bells? The only time to go deep into this stock is if things like Nazism becomes actual mainstream again, and youtube starts actually banning people like Joe Rogan, things like RUM will never take off. Its the same reason why you don't invest in quick video sharings app, because unless they actually do something extraordinary, its not beating the competition of Tiktok.

$CLBR comps - seems like based on name recognition and revenue, it should at minimum trade at a similar valuation as $RUM, which currently trades at 3B market cap, which would put $CLBR $PEW share price at around 100/share. Seems crazy but imo that's entirely reasonable from a market cap comp perspective.

Here's the kicker, when markets get overbought (which they are getting close to), you keep your shares in high growth "Chad" stocks - but also buy lots of puts on SHITTY companies like BMBL, LUMN, REAL, GEO, RUM, PD, etc). Shitty stocks that are in a 5 year downtrend. Therefore, if the market keeps going higher - these shitty stocks will still struggle in comparison. Then when the market truly turns, these puts will print. The ones I have are out to 10/17, plenty of time for a correction between now and then and markets tend to trough in early/mid October. Yes, I've been doing this for a long time (almost 26 years now).

I agree - people are getting commissions or fees. I just don't understand where because (to me) it's not as simple as "here's you donut. $1.0 plus taxes (fees) are $0.07.... they're all embedded deep (to me). Our FA said these are commission free because we pay him AUM-based already [and he can offer these], but maybe he meant to **him** (but yes, people ARE getting paid elsewhere). I don't mind sharing the ISINs which I think is an easy google to get term sheets (but if you want them DM, let me know - some didn't have ISIN's in them, just CUSIP's). These were in January, but I told him I didn't want to move on anything until I understood better. Examples: * CUSIP / ISIN = 61777RQH9 / US61777RQH92 (Morgan Stanley trigger plus absolute return). The commission and fee portions are blank. :) * CUSIP / ISIN = 61777RUM3 / US61777RUM32 (Morgan Stanley) * CUSIP = 09711FFD4 (BofA income, least performing hasdaq-100, russell 2k, s&p500). I see a underwriting discount of $8.75, but don't understand how that plays in. I don't mind paying people to some degree for a product that has benefits.... but i do wonder if all that complexity is worth it. From a boglehead perspective, i suspect the answer is no. But I don't want to stupidly follow a philosophy.

I know this thread is around a year old now, but I’m very happy with my decision to buy into RUM a few months ago when it was around $6/share. I’ve never had much luck with investing but I had a gut feeling about Rumble and what Pavlovski stands for and believes in (freedom of speech and fully against censorship) and fortunately I bought in shortly before the Tether announcement. I honestly think that Rumble is going to takeover as the top podcast/game streaming/live stream app out there. They are going to turn YouTube into the “boomer” video streaming platform the same way Instagram/TickTock/X turned Facebook into the “boomer” social media platform. Long time content creators are moving to the app due to being throttled, censored, demonetized, or the fear of it happening on YouTube or other platforms.
Well I'm locked into my 3 plays for the day. Holo,APTO, and My long play RUM. I will be just watching and researching what I'm going to sell or buy on Friday.
