Your link has nothing to do with managing grid demand fluctuations. It's arguing for power efficiency gains inside the datacenter itself. That's not what you said in the OP, this isn't "simplifying", it's you completely changing the argument. SSTs don't make data centers better customers to grid operators, large battery systems do. Did you actually read your own article or did you just look up a random article that's bullish on SSTs and assumed nobody would bother reading? The article says there are many barriers to SST adoption, acknowledges that a traditional transformer + SiC rectifier can match SSTs in efficiency, and notes even in their optimistic projections they don't expect significant revenue for SSTs until 2029. I dispute their claims of efficiency gains. The authors admit almost all of the efficiency gains come from SSTs eliminating the UPS in a traditional transformer -> entire current flows through double conversion UPS. However, *this is not what modern data centers look like*. Due to utility requirements for data centers to smooth their demand ramps, new data centers have *already moved to a system with batteries replacing the UPS.* There is no double conversion loss here, the current flows from the transformer to the power electronics in the server racks, with the battery sitting to the side passively until it detects a demand surge/drop. On top of all this, your paper notes there are many larger and better established competitors in this space and don't even mention WOLF as a serious contender. Likely because all these other companies are already vendors for other data center components and can integrate their offerings into what they already sell.

i dunno, seems like everyone and their mother are jumping to make SST and/or pretend to be ai infra in similar fashion. enphase, solaredge, fucking ford, of all companies... even if it's a 13b tam by whenever, there's seemingly 8395648735 companies trying to get it. so either most will get small slices or none.

I hear your point on the 0.06 DTC, but you have to look at the velocity of the recent change. 1. Borrow Rate doesn't lie: A 600%+ borrow rate is only possible when there is a severe lack of borrowable shares. If it were as easy for shorts to cover as the DTC suggests, we wouldn't see these astronomical fees staying pinned at these levels. It proves the 'effective' liquidity is much lower than the average suggests. 2. Recent Surge in Volatility: If you look at the charts, the massive spike in both volume and price volatility has only happened over the last few days. DTC is an average based on past volume, which means it hasn't caught up to the sudden momentum shift we’re seeing right now. 3. Data Lag: Fintel and official short interest updates are lagging indicators. They don't reflect the real-time supply-demand shock in a micro-float environment like SST. We are watching the pressure build in the 'here and now,' while the static stats are still looking at the rearview mirror. The setup is evolving much faster than the 0.06 DTC would suggest. So it seems more than 100% of the float is sold short… Also the entire float is only like $38M, so some whale could buy and lock the entire thing. I don’t think I’ve seen a low floater that was naked shorted like this in a long time, especially with such low volume (28 days to cover is crazy) Could really heat up fast, much faster than CAR. Reminds me of the old SST squeeze that went 100% in a day.

It happened to me with SST, bought at 6, dropped to 5, but knew there is value there. So take a bit of time to understand why you entered in the first place. În this example I knew they have potential to double, just had no clue If is next 2/3M, or up to 1Y.

Actually if you look at the volume over the last week of trading, the stock has gained $1 in price with less than 5 million in volume compared to the last 5months of 12+ million in daily volume and that dropped the stock from $15 to $6. Looks like the shorts are trying to close out their positions while not increasing the price too much. Lots of open interest calls over the next few weeks if the stock maintains its current trajectory and closes above $10. No one cares what these stores look like but I remember when 2020-21 looked for the market and lots of fun gamma and short squeezes happen (SST anyone?). This kinda reminds me of that, the set up is literally here. Are you asking without the tool? Because if its on the tool, its got as much chance to go as it can. Just needs a little volume or a tiny spark. SST is below a dollar which means its looking to delist, so they could do a reverse split. I try and not diamond hand plays like that. So with SST it either makes a quick movement up or down and i get out. Most companies like SST will try and salvage their company and make the stock worth more, very quickly.

What are we quantifying as top 10? Most profit or total amount of shares we own? Or the stocks we own that we like the most? I don’t really find value in posting positions, unless like that $ELTP guy you’ve cleared a cool $1M. And $SST specifically, it has been like bad relationship…I bought a sizable position in the $.50s-$.60s, then it just kept going down. So I tried to average down. And it dropped more. So I dumped it and took my loss. Then I noticed the bottoming and **finally** that curl upward after touching $.26 or so. And I bought a small position of 250 shares at $.4126.
