WLAC is getting some movement this week. Their meeting date will be on the 30th. Other than that, I think CEPT might be a decent one, although Securitize's growth seems to have slowed in the most recent quarter.

New SPAC announcement dropped, ticker is BCAR. We are paying attention to the warrants, BCARW. BCARW is currently $1.16. Warrants behave a bit differently than a regular stock ticker. So if you have never traded in warrants before, do some research first because they play by different rules. Once you do your research, you’ll figure out why corporations love to buy warrants instead of only common shares when they provide financing. Warrants can make great swing trades on a biopharm or biotech stock. They also are fantastic if you get in early for a SPAC. The real issue I have is the volume/liquidity on warrants. Hoping someone on the other side is there to buy immediately should not be counted on. The bid ask spreads can be cents apart too. You can day trade warrants sometimes, but it could be difficult if volume isn’t there. With BCAR and BCARW being brand spanking new, so to speak, hopefully this alleviates those problems. I have some commons for long term at $10.35. I bought warrants for short term at $1.14. I simply don’t care to deal with the strike price mechanics and all that on warrants. If the warrants hit $3+, I’ll probably start selling there. Other SPACs you can look at to see how they behave differently are WLAC/WLACW and CCCX/CCCXW. Some SPACs don’t really get hype. Others get all the hype. Today BCARW had 5,235,811 volume. And the commons had 12,197,491 volume.
BCAR actually only has a 28m float. I think everyone is very impressed with how much volume both the commons and warrants had today. When was the last time a SPAC had 12m volume on day 1? This is one of the best DA reactions we've seen in a long time. Regardless of whether you're in BCAR, this is great for SPACs in general. I'm holding warrants because they're still incredibly cheap compared to WLAC.
WLAC warrants are trading at $4. I like the upside potential for BCAR warrants. Very similar businesses with real revenue and in a hot sector. BCARW should be able to get upwards of $3. Definitely at least $2.

Please let me know if I'm missing something, but I see buying $WLAC at $11.40 and selling the Dec $12.5C for $0.60 as a pretty safe/good play. They haven't filed an S-4 yet, so I don't think there's any chance of a merger date by year-end. This would get you a cost basis of $10.80, with a NAV of $10.38 per listingtrack. It never went under $10.74 since DA.
Buy BYND! To the moon! No, just kidding. But sorry for your loss. Myself I only bet a small amount and managed to make some decent money, then left a third in for fun. I think one stock which is still very close to the starting SPAC price of $10-11 is WLAC, for merging with Boost Run, a datacenter company. Their EBITDA is very high at 75%+, and they have a good management team. If the SPAC merger fails (unlikely since the people handling the SPAC have a good track record), people get $10 back per share, so downside risk is minimal right now at $12.50.

I bought into it, CCCX RTAC TVA, and WLAC a little over a month ago. It was flat forever and then took off. I got lucky at buying at the right time. That is how SPACs seem to work. HOND has their merger vote Monday and the ticker change is usually within a week or so of that. Spacs are very unpredictable, you might think they should skyrocket and they come crashing down, look what happened to people with PEW, but they could also 2 to 3X on merger day. I think it's worth it, just be careful if you are buying at the dip, that might not be the duo, but the end of the run for that SPAC. I bought shares but mainly warrants. Eric Swider and Devin Nunes who are RTAC are who took NewsMax and DJT public and hang around Trump now to his international busi meetings. They also just bought TVA, which makes me think they have 2 targets to do pretty quickly. I bought the RTAC warrants around $1.2, their still only 1.6 now, TVA, not that much different. I bought about 5K of each and figured the risk is small that they will go much lower, and the reward would be huge if they spike up even a little, or the warrants get to the CCXW or HONDW, that is about a 10X return. The money is just sitting there, but it just takes that one announcement. If you are looking for a SPAC, these might have a longer payoff, but a much higher one.

About 3 weeks ago I put an equal amount of $$$ into a mix of the crypto->data center companies. IREN, APLD, CIFR, WYFI, BITF, Grrr. Also a few SPACs including cccx and HOND and WLAC. They have all rocketed so much I have effectively trimmed about half of my positions to give me back cost basis and some profit. The rest is now just gravy for further pump

WLAC merger with Boost Run, expect it to be the next GLXY
$WLAC is looking solid. It’s a spac for Boost Run. Very solid looking ai infra/hpc play with good financials and pipeline. Risk is that Willow lane hasn’t done a spac since 2021 (that I can remember) and with the non-small regulation + new SEC regulations, I expect a ~5+ month time to close. Any loss in quantum momentum will likely lead to some redemption. Currently has a 25% downside max, x2+ upside. Waiting for the proxy statement to reassess my position and then obv the votes.
