Wrap Technologies (NASDAQ: WRAP) pioneers the revolutionary WRAP, a handheld remote restraint device that safely wraps subjects in a Kevlar tether from afar – no pain, no injury, just effective de-escalation. Adopted by over 1,000 agencies worldwide, with surging subscriptions and strong revenue growth, WRAP is exploding in demand for safer policing. In yesterday's tragic Minneapolis ICE shooting – where an agent fatally shot a woman in her vehicle during a disputed confrontation – WRAP could have enabled remote restraint, gaining control without lethal force and potentially saving a life. With real-world impact and massive growth potential, WRAP stock is primed to soar.

>An Ameriprise advisor isn't necessarily a fiduciary with respect to my friend, right? That not a relevant concern. All registered investment advisers in the US are required by law to adhere to the fiduciary standard as promulgated byp the Adviser Act of '40 and interpreted by the SEC. There a lot of misunderstanding in social media about what fiduciary means when it comes to investment advisors. >How should I go about helping them set up a meeting to discuss their risk profile. Would they sit down with them? Would they charge for that? It depends on the services being offered by the adviser. And what your friend is paying for. Just ask them to ask their adviser. >Is it better to have a fiduciary controlling things compared to an advisor, or is this normal? No - there are lots of equally bad advisors who are conidered fiduiciaries. Great example of bad fiduciary advisers is the nutty adviser on Reddit who is an independent adviser who runs around Reddit promoting GME conspiracies. A good advisor is very subjective but generally speaking, it's someone that the investor will trust. It's someone that will do more than simply place a customer into an SMA or WRAP program. > my knowledge is very limited and superficial. If your knowledge is limited, you should not give advice based on lurking on social media. There is a lot of misunderstandings on social media. And if you don't have the experience or knowledge to tell the differences - you are not going to be able to provide helpful advice.
I’m going to put you on some game, Chicken Tender WRAP so damn good
Bull Market is a WRAP! L F G to $0!!!
bro, i still have work to do. WRAP👏IT👏UP👏
based on the BLM riot during covid. I think police equipment company stock like $WRAP went up like 200% in a few days then promptly crash hard, even below the level it started. Great for both long and short if you can catch the timing perfectly. Very short live plays though, like less than 1 week of rapid price movement. But on the index level, riot is basically a non-event. No crash nor spike. So this riot is probably a non-event. But police equipment stock might rise.
Cue "I will remember you" tight shot on Elon's Jaw grinding away...Fade to black! IT'S A WRAP!
> I don't know what the returns are that people claim and get clients based on Advisers cannot guarantee returns unless it's under certain circumstances with lots of disclosures. Also - an adviser has to invest based on the client's own risk tolerance. Regardless of whether an adviser is a fiduciary or not. All advisers have a fiduciary duty to their clients. It's one of the reasons why many small IA's are simply reselling WRAP and SMA programs. >This is just getting the support software. There are brokers like Ibkr that will support non-professional advisers. These are people who may be starting out small or may be managing without compensation. Or they meet the state and SEC exempt status for registration. [https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/accounts/non-professional-advisor.php](https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/accounts/non-professional-advisor.php) >constantly said that these services don't beat the market, meaning that I'd actually be charging more money per 100K than most advisors, but at the same time doing so based on potentially higher returns. Given a typical % under management means you pay while losing. That is because of the fiduciary rules. If you have a client that is retired and has told you that income generation is their primary goal, you are somewhat obligated to invest their portfolio in a fixed income program. >Whereas I wanted the concept of pay for winning. Lol. If that is your goal - and you want to generate alpha for your investors, then perhaps what you really want is create a hedge fund instead. That would be a structure that would make more sense. And it could be simpler. >... see this is why people get jobs working for firms, as this is a build up situation. .... Correct - it's a way for people to build their book of business and also learn about the industry. An aspiring investment adviser may also work as an independent adviser at places like Edward Jones, LPL, Merrill, etc. There is a lot of competition among the big wire-houses to attract and retain good independent advisors because if a decent advisor moves firms - many times - their clients will follow them. >how hard it is to get 1 million under management with a cool website and some business cards It's hard. You are asking people to trust you. It's less about having a cool website and more about your professional network and ability to sell your services. >RIA is a tough business. Yup.
WRAP IT UP WHILE WE’RE GREEN YOU CUNT
Once it hits 6 hundo its a WRAP for you bers
He might as well get to bending over because it's about to be a WRAP for him.
When you say 1% that is usually referring to a WRAP fee. Which is a "all in" fee. That typically means management. Planning. Tax prep, all included for one fee.

Twice a week because I've only got one open position. I'm all in on $WRAP @ $2.20. No need to check it obsessively when it's been hovering at $1.50 for eternity. Unless..., ya'll want to band together and let me retire?...
DELL IS ALREADY POACHING SMCI CLIENTS. AS A FORMER IT DIRECTOR IN A PREVIOUS LIFE I CAN UNEQUIVOCALLY SAY THAT ANY COMPANY NOT JUMPING SHIP TO A DELL OR HPE SHOULD BE HUNG OUT TO DRY. NOT SWITCHING FROM SMCI TO A DELL OR SIMILAR COMPETITOR AT THIS POINT OPENS UP CIVIL LIABILITY LAWSUITS BY SHAREHOLDERS. SMCI IS ALREADY DED AS AN ONGOING CONCERN. NOVEMBER 16 ITS A WRAP. SMCI = PINK SHEETS
I’ll counter with WRAP, as police departments catch more and more heat for using tasers, these guys have a great device to limit escalation and injury. Going through a bit of period replacing leadership. I have 3k shares, looking to add below $1.50
Axon software integrates with multiple devices. WRAP may have similar or better software, but if it only integrates with Bola Wrap it will never take off.
WRAP is my chat for the day
$WRAP calls at 3. Squeeze coming soon
How soon before WRAP is bought out by AXON?
WRAP creates more efficient systems for law enforcement. From body cams to evidence collection. They also designed Bolo wrap. A device that fires a kevlar strand that subdues a suspect. We've all seen videos of psychopathic police officers shooting a fleeing suspect. Bolo-wrap can stop fleeing suspects without the abuse of deadly force. You can wrap their legs, or secure their arms to their torso.

Interesting thing just happened..Got a note from Schwab wanting me to lend out my WRAP shares for income. Need to see what the short interest is in the stock but possible there may be some things happening where too many shares are loaned out and shares are being called in.
They are brothers. And the founder of WRAP was a founder of Taser as well. So, he knows how to create the product and how the buyers buy. But, the other brother was better at the business side of things and ended up running Taser. Probably the reason he got replaced with a different CEO. Some founders just aren't great at building a business.
I have been telling everyone I know about it. Have been in it for more than 3 years. I thought it was so obvious it was a no brainer. I think the issue is PDs are very conservative and they have a limit to what can be on their "belt". WRAP worked with early adopters and updated to their new version - prior version was considered a firearm since it used a blank bullet cartridge to launch. New version uses same tech as what is in a car airbag - uses compressed gas to discharge. When it was a firearm, lots of rules and ROE. So the new version still requires training, but has lower ROE. Also, Wrap had to create the training and now uses their AR/VR tool to help expedite and retrain - each user needs to recertify annually - assume this is required for all lethal/non lethal things they use.

I tend to stick with what I know. Current holds/accumulation targets on my list are: $WRAP - Wrap Technologies, maker of the BolaWrap which is another non-lethal tool for Law Enforcement to use. $CLNE Clean Energy Fuels, RMG/Nat Gas distribution. I've held them for years and I believe they've come up on here before. $IMMR Immersion Technologies - Haptic technology, licensed to a number of big companies. For some reason I see this becoming a "Ready Player One"-tech type play. Other than those I love the $LIT, $FAN, $TAN, and $DRIV ETFs among other items. For you penny stock lovers, $KGKG - Kona Gold Beverage. I actually love their flagship Energy Drink but they're reformulating and currently out of stock of my favorite (and most) flavors. They're currently leaning on a lemonade line "Ooh La Lemin" which is being rolled out at Walmart. Have other holdings but those are my favorites right now.
Bobby, you MUST GET THE DEATH WRAP FROM CITADEL ASAP 😂
AND THATS A WRAP See you tomorrow
LOL welcome to our dysfunctional little community of degenerates. I think $WRAP is below market cap requirements to be posted here. It used to be $1 billion but the mods lowered it to $500 million. Either way, I'm pretty sure your stock doesn't qualify.
Is WRAP going going or this just temporary?

So, I'm guessing no one has an opinion on WRAP?

Any thoughts on WRAP
I liked it overall. But yea, the beginning of the 3rd act dragged on for so damn long. “You gotta WRAP. IT. UP!”
What strike r u grabbing on WRAP?
AGTC or WRAP, both have insane potential
WRAP has their Bolawrap that is really taking off and becoming a new tool in Law Enforcement. Just had promising earnings and having seen it actually work, it’s pretty remarkable. Something that is a lower level force than a taser but just as effective (probably more). Current position 600 shares / 24 Jan 2024 $3 C
