KSM is not new and was issued before DOT, it’s the test chain for trying out the rough parameters of DOT before becoming a parachain. KSM is there to help developers build and is the go to place for testing ideas out before FID and build on DOT. In my mind it’s integral for the foreseeable future and DOT’s Trojan Horse. Huge difference in price, previous high was DOT 1X5 = 1 KSM presently DOT 1X4 = 1 KSM

tldr; A trader has opened a $4 million short position on the TUSD stablecoin on Aave after the issuer had to pause mints and redemptions through one of its banking partners, Prime Trust. TrueUSD announced earlier this month that it had halted the minting of new TUSD coins via Prime Trust, a Las Vegas-based trust company. More recently, the Nevada Department of Business and Industry’s Financial Institutions Division (FID) recently issued a cease-and-desist order against Prime Trust. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. tldr; Stably, a cryptocurrency company, has temporarily paused several services due to its custodian, Prime Trust, halting all deposits and withdrawals of fiat and digital assets for custody by order of the Nevada Financial Institution Division. Prime Trust is actively engaging with the NV FID to determine next steps to remediate any concerns and return to business as usual as soon as possible. Stably is working on integrating new custodian partners as well. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.*

Crypto isn’t the villain, it’s just a tool. Don’t hate the player, hate the game. It’s humans who cause trouble, not crypto. Fix the system Proper gosling can solve problems. NO FID, educate and don’t regulate

Please report Prime Trust to the CFPB: [https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/](https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/) And the Nevada Financial Institutes: [https://hal.nv.gov/form/FID\_ADA\_Forms/Complaint\_Form](https://hal.nv.gov/form/FID_ADA_Forms/Complaint_Form) They just got a 100M investment, yet still refusing to give us our USD.

I pointed to a world where they aren’t denominated in dollars anymore, not “not around” you don’t own your 401k and if you need a reminder of what it means for companies to go bankrupt and forfeit on their employee’s obliged securities go back & look at 2008. Defaults can and do happen. Pensions and stock ownership plans can and do default. The S&P 500 will be around but there might not be an IVV or FID 500 which are the obligations normies like to have exposure to. Now if you’re talking about private custody of certifiable equity then this might be a sounder investment thesis than the systemic ownership through a 401k savings plan. But not many people are going to even be able to take money out of that system and own their equity because simply put the system won’t let them, I know from experience. I wasn’t arguing that what your saying isn’t wrong because it stands that there is still inflationary impact to your purchasing power by buying into something like IVV or FID 500 because the expansion in money supply through treasury repurchases has created a stonks go up world but they’re going up at barely beating inflation of today (not a coincidence) on top of which the returns of this index are largely made through select innovators and the broad exposure over diversifies the average investor looking to store value.

I understand that tether is bad and may have probably added inflation to some degree to it's coin. but how the fuck bitfinex has not profited from this insane bull run. like every single player got massive profit but we assume that bitfinex has not enough assets to cover tether? I have been hearing about tether FUD since 2017. I have started using other stable coins but I am not buying the massive FID gets posted every few weeks about tether

They know the FUD is gone and they’re sad they don’t want more FUD. They’re trying now and testing if they’re totally outta FID to spread
