How are you defining overtaking? Market cap? PPC? Popularity? Or you mean the blockchains? I don't know either way but I think it's alot harder to hold the lead with real competition in your ballpark. Whereas Bitcoin doesn't really have any competition or threat of being overcome. It found its place as a store of value and a hedge. I think ppl are fine with the idea of using/transacting/developing on any number of the great blockchain platforms available as long as they provide some kind of use and generate income that will eventually go into the savings bank of bitcoin. They don't care whether it's ADA or ETH tho. There's not really a " cult of ETH " like the bitcoiners. The space that ADA and ETH are in is certainly way more crowded than Bitcoin space ever was. Takes alot to stay relevant. TL;DR ETH It's kind of like Jan Brady in the Middle Child Effect - The first born (Greg Brady) is the king, most accepted and most successful. Period. No one is stepping to him. The most recent born is most ripe with opportunity, gets support and hand holding from parents, a little bit more " alt " and interesting, weird but kinda cool (Cindy Brady) and the middle kid is stuck in between, no real sense of self, ignored often but not on purpose, (Jan Brady) & let's face it just a straight up bleed on the family income, well known for some good stuff they did years back but more well known now for the bad stuff they keep doing, the trips the falls, the gas prices, the dying of the hair green lets say. Jan Brady (ETH) will always be kind of net-zero-effect because it really wants to be Marsha Brady at heart, but knows they never can be, so they try for the attention that the younger ones get with things like the forever waiting ETH 2.0 drop, but they just don't have the charm of the little rascals like Cindy, ADA, DOT, AVAX. So ETH s just really kinda bougie-homeless at the end of the day. This gives me an idea... $GRG $JAN $MARSH $CIN $ALC
