Could open-source crypto currencies like BTC be 'under attack' by the likes of the FEDERAL RESERVE and big investor banks? we should hold our positions and BUY more imo.

Hard to time this, the problem is FED is about to raise IR and that will make USD stronger and BTC will obviously keep falling down. Orange fatso seems to be happy with how much money he has stolen using crypto (instead of calling BTC a scam like he did many times in the past) and now you simply don't have that many catalysts, that's why if BTC was ever to reach a new ath it would probably be in 2028-29 not anytime soon. But this might've been the last ath (adjusted for inflation ofc)

Bro thinks $3M home is not extravagant ahahaaaa, yeah cope even harder. IR are going up and BTC is therefore overvalued (or rather nothing because it has no real value) because speculators tend to stay away when IR are going up, hmmmm why would that be?! As long as you can buy a home with 1BTC = BTC price is insane, since that is not possible in US and Europe rn, it is not that insane, but saying it's insanely undervalued when it still, after almost 20 years of existence, does not have a single use case and there are close to 0 real transaction, that is bonkers

Mentions:#IR#BTC#US

Yep but since IR are going up this will either keep falling down or remain at around $60 to $70k for a very long time, so we might see a little reversal there

His opinions are a bit extreme and he's obviously biased af (he celebrates when BTC price is down etc) now, in fairness: 1. There are close to 0 real daily BTC transactions (adj. for its market cap ofc) so we're left with the 'it's a store of value' argument, which fair enough, but 2. You can create the same store of value without any issues, why BTC performance is so strong is mostly due to the fact it's a novelty and its community is insanely large, kudos to all of you for that, but that means it's more about speculators 3. BTC, for many years, has profited from a relatively low IR and therefore weaker USD, this is not sustainable I know I am most likely wrong here and BTC will reach new ath, but I'd still really appreciate it if you could challenge my arguments, thanks!

Aww man, I feel ya on that one. I too caught a habiit for a few years back on ‘09 after trying to deal with my little sister’s passing side to prescription drug OD. I had introduced her to the guy who got her taking pills, she was just smoker until him. He’d had a pretty bad worksite injury back in 2000 which led to him having multiple different mg OC prescriptions each month (180 x 80mg, 240 x 40mg, 300 x IR/5mg), for many years, it was ridiculous. Intro’d her to him in ‘04, she ran off to Nevada w/ him in ‘05, married him, had a few kids, then passed in July ‘09, she’s been sharing his pills w/ him for a couple years by then AND had since gotten a Xanax script from her doctor out there and well as had a take-home methadone script. We didn’t know about the latter two things until stage she passed. So yeah I had a really hard time not blaming myself for the whole thing, and I chose to try to shove it way down my turning to heroin since my occasional pill use just wasn’t cutting it. So yeah I was off & on for years, up until fairly recently actually. My only saving grace was that I’d gotten in to the trades back in ‘99, Union too (Chicago), so I’d been lucky to have been fortunate enough to land that many years prior to my big fuckup. It was hard enough as it was navigating my job with the years that I did it w/ a habit so who knows where my path would’ve taken me had I started using dope at a younger age. A couple year detour in prison over it being thrown into the mix nearly derailed the whole thing but thankfully things kept working out afterwards. Long story short I totally understand where you’re coming from, Idk where you live but if it’s in the U.S. you can still start a trade at an older age if that’s something you would ever be untested in. You apply to the specific Union once they have open applications every now and then (most Trades pretty much do it the same way), which over this last several years has been WAYYYY more often than it used to be because it’s so hard nowadays getting guys who want to work in them. The pay is insanely great (>$100K/yr), the health insurance is even better, and you even get to keep it after retirement, which that too (pensions) are some of the best of any career path.
