I feel like REAL news in BTC is overshadowed by price action. This sounds LEGIT. I’m honestly too dumb to know wtf the tech does but I’m smart enough to know that this is legit…. I think.

This happened recently with my school email, but it was SO ODD, they called me from a Microsoft phone number and said my school email was compromised and that they are sending me a link to change my password , it seemed SO LEGIT, the guys on the phone was a real person calling from a US phone # (obviously a fake # i know) like i thought this could never happen to me and it did, then at the end of the conversation they said something along the lines of "this typically happens to people who invest into crypto, do you own any" thats when I knew, it was too late however cuz i signed into the fake link they sent my email, however nothing is connected to my school email thank god and i only had like $4 in btc at the time anyway

I get the transferring funds part. When i got a hardware wallet for the first time my test transaction went thru fine. Sent the remainder of my eth in one bulk transaction. Got kinda nervous after 10 minuets and nothing came thru 😂. But using a dex is probably the safest way to swap crypto. Nothing is ever lost and since your wallet is connected, your funds won’t just magically disappear if the transaction fails. All thanks to smart contracts. Now of course I’m talking about LEGIT DEXs like Uniswap for example. Not a shady pencil whipped coded DEX.

You might have seen it already, there are cracked TradingView Premium links getting posted on a bunch of different subreddits. It sends you to a link with a downloadable zip file with a TradingView.exe file. My dumbass downloaded the file and ran it despite windows screaming at me that it couldn’t be trusted. The exe runs and it shows some kind of fake error. The comments on all of these posts look legit. The comments are discussions about different trading indicators or if there have been any viruses found. All of them say “safe to download” or “I have been using it fine” or something along those lines. There are tons of deleted comments. Any mention of scam or virus gets deleted. The comments look legit because they are all LEGIT Reddit accounts with years of history that have been hijacked by the scam. It seems the program steals your credentials. They hijack your Reddit account and continue spreading the virus and the fake comments using real accounts. It’s usually easy to tell if a Reddit account is a bot based on the history but this is so effective because they steal legit accounts of real people. Some of the accounts they steal are moderator accounts that go and post as mods on subreddits so it looks even more legit, and then as mods they delete comments at will. I was able to recover my account before they took it over completely. I don’t know if they can crack any other accounts on your system but I changed all of my passwords and re-installed windows as precaution. I don’t know how to get the posts taken down because the mods are compromised! Who do I report this to? I can’t find any kind of actual Reddit help about something like this. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. LEGIT this needs to be shared everywhere around the world, so people can finally get it. doesn't mean Bitcoin can't get exploited by evil people. but that's why there are altcoins to switch to if the major coins become corrupted.

I hate when bitches buys some PUTS then spread FUD and misinformation on social media/reddit, like it’s going to move the needle. Watch out for these bitches. Contrary to the buttcoiners, bitcoin has LEGIT real world uses. Bitcoin is one of the few assets that you can literally hold and not worry about complete bankruptcy. We say HODL and never sell, not because we think it’s never “dumping” but because it’s just the safer move in the long term. Truth is, we don’t know when it’ll dump/pump so 99% of you are better off HODLing. Buttcoiners are definitely dumbass bitches who lost money trying to time/trade bitcoin or people who are actively shorting it right now. They don’t want to admit it, but we all know it, BTC is here to stay and it’s going up forever.
