There are actually several margin/perpetual dexes in the space. Maybe they aren't yet known, but HMX & OPX are quite solid in that niche. I read HMX did $250M in trading volume during its beta. Innovation is a thing which will continue in this market. Even liquidity aggregators like FluidAI also have futures & options trading as part of their product where users will be able to trade large blocks anonymously using RFQ technology. > Yes offloading money is one thing, but should DeFi have a solution for that as well? Yeah, I believe an off-ramp should be possible in DeFi. There can be integration with a 3rd party service.
Among upcoming tokens: SEI, they've been taking time to build an L1 that provides CeFi features in a DEX. I've participated in the testnet tasks and it's promising ADE, token of Weaver Labs, which is introducing Infrastructure-as-a-service via telecoms. Presale registration coming up on the 24th. Already trading: COLOR, hard to ignore considering the marketcap, 100x takes it to just $7m Mc. With active devs, it's just a matter of time. OPX, another very low cap, the GMX of optimism.
AI: OCEAN, FET L2: ARB, OP, CTSI Perp Dex: GMX, OPX, LMDA I have zero problem with diversification 🫠😁
Okay let's do this💪🏽 MOONs (no need to say much but this will go at least 10x in the bull) OPX (a 3m mcap GMX alternative on optimism, I'll leave the potential gains to imagination) CTSI (Blockchain OS will enable smart contracts be built with non-programming tools like python. Less than 100m mcap L2, 10x minimum in the bull) VRA (it'll be hard to find a project with a stronger community around that mcap. Their development is also noteworthy) To be continued... With proper dyor, some small caps are gems, absolute opportunities if you bag them early. Cartesi is an example, less than 100m mcap and not in mainnet yet. Another is OPX which when compared to GMX (the arbitrum equivalent), is massively undervalued. Anyway, invest in working projects.
I did my research and invested into OPX- perpetual dex on Optimism, FRIN- primary lending platform on Zksync, and CTSI- Layer 2 scaling platform with Linux runtime I believe if the team continues to build & achieve what they have in the pipeline, they will see an exponential growth, from here.
Tldr: VELO gained 21% in the past 24 hours, SONNE token has jumped 82%, OPX has skyrocketed by 144%, PERP token has seen a 42%, OP token has jumped over 10%
OPX- The Optimism equivalent of GMX, decent numbers but still less than 2m mcap with over 80% of tokens circulating. You agree with me that trading will move to DEX in the long term. OCEAN- For AI/Data/ML to function optimally, data is required. I think Ocean Market is positioned strategically to be the number source for trading web3 data. At less than 200m mcap, I think there's a lot of upside for it. I'd like to say ATOM, but can't really call it undervalued, relative to projects in crypto overall.
These are great opportunities leading up to the next bull run. But you kind of get the the feeling, lightening doesn't strike twice, will they have the kind of run they had in the last run? I doubt it. I'd go for more undervalued alternatives for MATIC, OP is a good contender, CTSI too because though not much known now, that will change when blockchain OS rolls out beyond testnet and projects start building on it. GMX did very well and as a result lots of other perp dex are springing up. LVL is making a killing, I'm actually looking at LMDA and OPX to follow suit.
