I started a 3 figure brokerage account, moved to 4, then 5 then 6 then 7 before selling and enjoying the spoils. Acting as if no one knows anything is why I managed to do what I did. Calling tops and seeing weakness is absolutely doable if you pay attention to the right things. Calling bounces, recoveries, rallies, sell offs is also doable. When you see insanity in markets like early 2021 with IPOs like Rivian doubling, tripling within weeks based on nothing - plus with macro economic conditions looking weak, feds responses likely to be hikes - you could see the writing on the wall. Picking stocks is also doable - saying no one knows anything is the weakest response to stock trading. Knowing whether a stock will hit $41 for sure is different than knowing a stock will move higher. The latter is very doable and if you spend time learning what moves stocks, you can make a lot of money. Feel free to look into my posting history on WSB and you’ll see me preach about holding Ionq,rklb,asts being the next big stocks - all of which were trading in the dollar range. Was I a genius? No. I simply did DD on the companies, future industries wallst hadn’t yet rated properly, chose who I thought would be winners, had a strategy to accumulate these stocks in a high rate environment with expectation of gains when rates started to fall. You can call it lucky, but then id point out that I did it again with stocks like LAES, NRGV, APLD. Did i have failures? Yes. Did i know how to manage those failed picks? Yes. Stocks like EMRK or LAZR failed badly but because I had experience with the market, many failing stocks get squeezed these days before collapsing. Even though EMBK is no longer solvent, i made 3x my money on it. LAZR was a failure that I lost 50% on, from my shares, but if we include my option gains, I ended up making a nice profit from when it would gap up on deals like with mercedes - stock pumped 40% and weeklies paid out quite well. All this to say, give yourself credit. Markets are not voodoo. If I could do it, anyone can. Timing the market. Making single stock picks has made me a lot of money and you too can do it if you learn. And when I say learn I mean literally learn by yourself. Not copy trades, follow online pump and dumps. I taught myself everything and yes, I had many failures along the way - but those failures taught me everything. I was singularly obsessed with learning how the markets worked. 18 hour days spent doing nothing but watching charts - which i barely use today - reading about economics, finance, accounting etc. educating myself because I wanted to learn. Not sitting on youtube or tiktok or wsb and just following trades. This is a long ass comment but hopefully someone takes it to heart and makes millions. Don’t limit yourself.

Nice gain, I've been doing DD on utility scale BESS stocks and I honestly don't know why would anyone rather own EOSE, than NRGV or FLNC, because to me EOSE seems absolute dogwater from the financial standpoint (massive debt) and even its backlog is smaller than NRGV or FLNC in monetary value.

I came across a company called energy vault (NRGV) super low and seems like it has potential. So I bought 2k worth. That’s about it.
$NRGV got trashed here on reddit some years ago, currently at atl, but they delivered as promised and become very flexible in using market opportunities.
Why is not Energy Vault on this list? 😁 For me NRGV holds the most anticipated earnings.
NRGV is flying under the radar, very attractively priced, no debt, plenty of cash, high profile investors, the market hasn't responded to them yet. Meanwhile they're setting up money printers left and right, therefore scammers from Chardan downgraded it recently - and since they're wrong 3 times out of 4 - it's always a "buy" when they say "sell" 🤣. The events in the next 30 days include presentation in Dubai next week and earnings early May. Their groundbreaking micro grid project in Northern California is coming online later this summer with a chance to revolutionize energy storage worldwide. Huge potential, not a "pump and dump" scam like KULR (with RS and heavy dilution on horizon before potentially getting kicked out next year).

App Harvest and Energy Vault both had Novus Capital as a sponsor however the current NXU is an unrelated company, Energy Vault is NRGV which is currently trading at $2.41 a share. NXU was the original ticker for Novus Capital Corp II which changed to NRGV on business combination. The vacant NXU ticker was taken by Atlis Motor Vehicles which rebranded to NXU & changed ticker from AMV to NXU on May 15 this year.

So - considering the market tends to run conservative, I expect proof of incoming heat disaster to first impact renewable-related stocks negatively. So short TSLA, LTHM, LAC, EOSE, FCEL, PLUG, MVST, FLNC, STEM, NRGV, everything and wait for the next lows if you’re thinking of entering. If nothing else they will rug for cheaper entry.
I’m gonna go with ‘As long as Texas cooks and Canada burns, EV renewable will keep going up’ plan. TSLA, EOSE, NRGV. Staying away from straight solar for now. LAC is the regarded play, waiting litigation results.

I wanted to keep it open but there are ideas floating around using magnetically levitated flywheel storage (some companies are very successfully doing seed funding), others are using gravity without water; energy vault (NRGV) is one such company. They’re currently bleeding money left and right and dropped some 80% in value, but already have sizeable US government contracts and seem to expand to the Middle East and China
Anyone came across a green energy de-SPAC that's climbed more then NRGV since the market lows late December? I'm curious. Still convinced the technology is shenanigans.
Yeah just make sure if you do short you check the interest rate. I shorted NRGV earlier this year but had to exit because the interest rate was 30%. Was too worried it wouldn’t drop fast enough. I suspect it’s similarly high for most. But maybe that’s a way to make some extra money as a larger shareholder; make them available to borrow and get paid from your broker a little bit.

Energy Vault (NRGV) is my long speculative (wishful thinking?) play. They store excess energy from alternative energy in a kinetic system instead of in Li dependent storage. Think a solar farm that stores energy all day and sends it to the grid at night. I’m long on it because I want to see the transition away from carbon based power to succeed. If I get rich on it, great! But I think a likelier outcome is my investment gets diluted by private venture capital deals when the company needs cash. Check back after the 2028 election. NRGV is less than 1% of my portfolio.

Look at the value of warrants on previous squeezes at the time where warrants can be traded in and realize the intrinsic value. Even GETY didn’t get far considering how long it sat at $30. Another to look at is NRGV. Shares almost always dump before warrants can be converted.
So as of late I'm really into 2 companies which are part of my "Battery Innovation" list. These 2 companies GWH and NRGV are working on various forms of long term power storage. Rn we have some great short term battery storage solutions which hold enough power for individual use (cars, a single home) but not for grid size or large scale use. Both of those companies are working on that with some interesting new concepts. Given the tax credits that were handed out for investments in renewable energy sources like wind and solar, which are getting cheaper and better with each year, there still isn't a tax credit for companies working toward large scale power storage, which we will absolutely need as those 2 sources grow in usage, but I can easily those getting tax credits next. And even if they don't, the need for that product at scale is definitely there and only going to increase anyway, so those 2 are my plays at the moment. As far as Lithium Ion and Hydrogen Fuel Cell, I think the future of hydrogen fuel cell is in far more jeopardy than Lithium Ion, merely bc of the infrastructure required on a massive scale. Electric is most definitely hear to stay, it's just a matter of who can build the best battery imo, and rn Lithium Ion is by far the winner and will continue to be for a very long time[.](https://time.It) It;s in so many products that I'm intrigued by this company LICY which is focused on recycling Lithium Ion batteries and extracting the materials from them to be used again in the future. Even once a better alternative to Lithium is found, nickel and cobalt will still key ingredients which that company can help to recycle.

The ones who run it are notorious pump n dumpers and quite frankly they should be investigated for the bogus “deals” they make for their garbage companies. The insiders have dumped hard on retail and taken it straight to the bank. NRGV is the same group of scummy humans and their fake deals for their energy storage are comical and will never result in revenue OR ever get off the ground.
1791 Management also filed a lawsuit against NRGV too which was also squeezing with BRCC back then. tbh, I think they did not back up their claims with any evidence either.

NRGV and FRGE puts did well for me. Not awesome, key is to catch these when warrants are called as it's the start of the end. Both have room to fall further but IV is too much. Moving to SMR puts now. Volume is picking up on September and November puts
NRGV warrants became exercisable around May 9, when the registration statement became effective. NRGV was trading around $15 a share at the beginning of June. Seems likely the ones that were exercised for cash were around that time.

NRGV and FRGE have both been inseparable sisters going down hand in hand. But NRGV fell down a cliff and FRGE came rolling after. FRGE you drop when you are ready.

NRGV gang how we feeling today? I rode the puts and sold the top. Looks like .45 was the lowest 5p Aug went. Only picked up a tracking position. If I would have been good at booking profits I would have had 120% followed by 200% on my 5p and 200% twice on July 7.5p which over the last few days is ripping. I think I get one last chance to load in last 2 weeks of July.
I dont know why I'm shorting PSNY, they are actually selling cars, and their valuation is reasonable relative to the "proprietary battery tech" or lcid. And clearly the EV bubble may never pop... and its a despac in 2022 so retail went short so theyre gonna pump it (see NRGV, BRCC, etc.)
That's interesting. It would mean that they knew it wouldn't work when they sold the idea to investors. That is (in an ideal world) something the SEC deals with. With respect to the PIPE investors, this one differs from most others. Some are not real investors, IMO. For example, Palantir invested $8.5M, but NRGV committed to buy $7.5M of software from the company, which probably isn't even covered by the net proceeds from the company's PIPE participation. So, Palantir didn't really invest, they funded the purchase of software. It's neither a real investment for EV, nor a real software sale for Palantir. IMO, of course.

Soooo NRGV management decided to keep their shares locked up for an additional 6 months. That doesn’t really mean anything though when major shareholders are the ones who typically are the ones responsible for dumping right?
BOXD, RKLB, ML, and dare I even say PSFE I also think NRGV might go somewhere along with GRNA although these may be more of a dice roll.
