Here are my thoughts about stock market right now. Feel free to share your opinions. Shiller P/E ratio is at historical highs, too many dollars were printed, there are many heavily shorted stocks & their FTDs are due to close during January/Febr. & I expect their wild spike, but also collapse of SPY
Thoughts on PTRA? Or LEV? Electric bus manufacturers.

Don't the $20 LEAPS or long-term options (from May 20,2022 to January 19,2024)for Proterra Inc look like a NO-BRAINER and amazing as of Monday, November 15,2021 ? Stock was $12.51 as of November 15th.Options with MINIMUM 6 months until expiry look like an extremely WISE move. Still very, very EARLY.

If George Soros Fund Management LLC is willing to invest in 7,754,587 shares of Proterra Inc (PTRA : NASDAQ) , shouldn't you at least consider a starter position at under $15 per share ? After all, this stock is the ninth largest holding of Soros with a $132 million value as of June 30,2021. Amazing

Bankruptcy plays have been hot lately.. WE, YELL, PTRA.. Not for a long term hold, but for a quick run. Maybe TEKA will dead cat bounce
I sold PTRA and AMRS yesterday to but more T2. I'm holding onto EBET and I just bought into WE because I'm feeling fancy now and I believe in what the internet people tell me
PTRA EBET AMRS raw dogging me right now no lube
What's the deal with PTRA? I know they went bankrupt but for some reason when I look up analyst reviews it says buy. Plus has a decent bit of volume
PTRA flash sale . Might wanna get you some
Haven’t seen this name in a while, but $PTRA is going bankrupt. https://techcrunch.com/2023/08/09/what-led-to-ev-darling-proterras-bankruptcy/amp/?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAABrPklwCO7_PHD6SH0eXCBkK1J4LBVnTzw4vt8MVr3_holyD2jBa0TFbiiGJnOlMCwdDfMOEtKMhee_zeKqAANgkUEwxk1FvGWxEw5tKZhHW9MZ-OSsmxzCt3hFUY4APYhEtsCXJTH-zRTQZFN5tKGKdGy3M4KEe4J5945UrzSk-
ORGN been dead coming from a PTRA holder lol
I saw 3 examples: PTRA, WE, and AMRS this week. I added them to watchlist day-1, and saw the rise day-0. I didn't do anything because I am holding somewhere else tho. :) The pattern started with the stock price steeply dropping after the ch 11 filing, after 6mo-1y of continuous drop. And then it swings up.
PTRA is literally going bankrupt. I don’t understand
What’s the hottest rn? PTRA or AMRS
Going balls deep into $WE and $PTRA
Bring your money to PTRA. The company filed for ch. 11 bankruptcy shares tank to .12.
Any comeback for PTRA or is she dead?
Sorry ORGN bros. Sincerely; a PTRA bro
PTRA could be the next bankrupt stock to pop.. why not.. seems to be a theme
The thing with PTRA is that they have a higher cash burn rate and also a bunch of stagnant inventory. I could be wrong but the stock market is a game of probability for some part, and I’m betting ORGN will not be trading at a discount to book value for very long given how rare that happens
Yes PTRA filed for bankruptcy the other day even while trading cheap to book.. I'm saying the same thing can happen to ORGN, no?
PTRA is bankrupt though. I’ve done research on thousands of company and even rhe shittiest of companies don’t trade below book value of equity unless its all intagibles that keep getting impaired. That said, once ORGN hits 3$ im fully exiting this shitshow of a company
PTRA is trading 1/10th of book right now
Because bankrupt companies are super hot right now? Add PTRA (electric busses) to your list.
With the filing in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware, Proterra canceled its second-quarter earnings call planned for Wednesday. Proterra (NASDAQ: PTRA) shares closed down 10% at $1.43 but fell more than 62% to 54 cents in after-hours trading.
Hey guys do some DD on PTRA today, SEC Form 10-Q filed was filed

Proterra (PTRA) filed for Chapter 11 and it's stock dropped 88% all the way down to $0.17 Looking at the bankruptcy protection filling, Total assets $ 818,773,679.77 Total debts: $609,498,207.66 What am I missing?
I am eating shit on PTRA as well. Awesome.
PTRA files for bankruptcy. US Energy Secretary Granholm used to sit on their Board.
Proterra ( PROT ) down 81% to 27 cents today on bankruptcy filing. [8-K filing](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1820630/000162828023027865/ptra-20230807.htm) and [Voluntary Petition for Proterra Operating Company](http://www.kccllc.net/proterra/document/2311121230807000000000001) filed with bankruptcy court give no indication of what may happen to common shareholders. 8-K does show that two PTRA execs get $450,000 "retention awards"; and Jill Frizzley, a veteran of numerous public company boards with restructuring legal background, was added to the PTRA board at the bargain rate of $35,000 per month, payable in advance each month, which works out to $420,000 per year for the new board member. If anyone here holds any PTRA stock, might want to check the voluntary petition, it has a list of hundreds of common stockholders. No idea if that shows folks who hold stock through retail brokers ( "held in street name" ) or not.
PTRA loss porn posts incomming
Some of y’all might get a kick out of this, some of y’all won’t care: $PTRA had an earnings call this week (08/09 I believe) they just cancelled & filed Chapter 11. Stock is down about 64% from this news as of writing & the CEO of the company was appointed by Biden to sit on the Export Council back in February.

PTRA squeezing and still zero action on calls. Wonder how high it’s going to go.
Lol any retail interest could push PTRA to $4-5/share 😂😂😂
Lol PTRA going to squeeze another 100% and y’all don’t even know about it. Typical.
PTRA, CSLR, MMM. You’re welcome.
TSLA/AMD/COIN and wheel on COIN, TSLA, SQ, and AMD Options trading turned profitable, one losing trade over 80+ this year. PTRA holdings weighing me down.
Has anybody looked at PTRA? Founded by an ex-Tesla guy who unfortunately died last year or maybe 2021, and has had I would say mediocre management ever since. Amazing product and infrastructure and vision (to electrify the bus, coach, and large fleet network), had a great reputation for many years until the founder's death, and now I feel it's run by people who are not as passionate but just looking for a CEO job. It reminds me of when RIM lost its 2 founder's and replaced them with a plug-in CEO, who renamed the company Blackberry ". No big vision from the top, just "raise market share". Look where that went. I really hope PTRA doesn't go that way, it really needs another visionary leader to get them back on the mission. But if that happens, it's looking super cheap right now.
I was huge into PTRA a year or two ago and got smeared. I hope they make it but I won’t hold my breath
Not Proterra, but if you want a small cap EV bus long shot, then look into PTRA. They're potentially insolvent lol but a real company that just completed it's South Carolina factory and may make it out of the gutter. Connections to Energy Secretary Grandholm
Get rid of PTRA! It was not "canonized." It didn't have a second massive price movement upward.
Excited for NKLA, PLUG, BE, BLDP, MMM, PTRA action next week 🥳🥳
holy shit PTRA is a dollar now?! fuck that’s wild. i might have to buy
How TF is this still at $2 while PTRA is pinned at $1 yet has actual revenue, products, and cash on hand
!banbet $PTRA 1.15 2d
Proterra (PTRA) is severely undervalued ($250M market cap) with a likely acceleration in revenue upcoming in Q3/Q4. Price to book: 0.5 Price to sales: under 1 2023 expected price to sales: 0.5 Proterra will likely hit the lower end of 2023 guidance as they ramp production in their recently commissioned Powered 1 facility. There is no shortage of supply with a $1.6B backlog of orders and an ocean of bus and battery grants and incentives. Margins should improve significantly as a result of higher output and fulfillment of non-inflation indexed orders, making room for higher margin orders. I think will return to a multiple of 3-5x P/S with stabilized 50% y/y growth. It will be a rocky road over the next year, but this is a well established company and risk to reward ratio is mouth watering.
$40k $PTRA yolo, but I can’t post about it here because the valuation has capitulated below $500M.
My worst one's are COIN,PTRA, SNAP and RUN. COIN was trading at decent multiple but EPS went to $0 in a blink. i am surprised, FEDs are not investigating COIN for showing overinflated EPS during the listing. PTRA was my quest to buy hidden gem in EV space. I bailed out both with 50% lost and done some tax harvesting. i actually bought PINS and RUN when prices are decent but didn't take the profit. When PINS dropping down to below my cost, i traded into SNAP which went down by another 75%. PINS actually recovered.
Hey /u/Optimal_South_9227 - I am a bot from /r/wallstreetbets. You submitted one or more banned tickers: ARVL PTRA. We don't allow discussion of low market cap (less than 500mm) tickers to prevent pump & dump spam and scammers.
PTRA -80%. Thought the Green New Deal was happening and they were the best EV Bus maker in town. Learned my lesson in SPACs and am holding because I'm not in for a lot and I think their tech is cool and probably worth something to someone.
its amazing how much a pump and dump person Chamath Palihapitiya turned out..the guy literally kept all his tweets, interacted with bunch of meme accounts too on twitter presenting himself as a friendly person during the peak bull runs of the whole stock market....and now he is absolutely calm on twitter...no interaction whatsoever.. $MILE, $DM, $SPCE, $CLOV, $OPEN, $PTRA, $SOFI. IIRC, he netted 200$ million on virgin galactic..and now its all downhill for it.. his metromile pump was also high shitting on LMND how can he get away so easily ? wont be questioned by anyone ?
Hell, I bought a bit of PTRA thinking at least cities would be buying EV busses or something and that's -80% YTD Thank God it wasn't much
PTRA up 60% from lows set last thursday
PTRA huge rebound from earnings sell off.. trading 70-75% of book still

PTRA fucked me in the bus[sy]
PTRA down 50%
Sweet mother of god. I bought PTRA in June 2021 at $16, and sold Nov 2021 at $12 for a crushing loss. One of my worst conviction trades, but looking at price now it was a fantastic decision to cut my losses or I'd be 90% down... O\_O
Mmmmm i feel like scooping up some PTRA
i remember owning PTRA. so glad i no longer do.
PTRA. Still bagholding shares, but the company has amazing tech (we have it at work and like it a lot) and just a terrible CEO with 0 communication skills about the direction of the company.
Just remembered $PTRA is posting earnings at the end of the month! Today’s share price movement is nice but I really want to see the numbers before I act up & double my little position since it’s the year of the bus.
PTRA 60% bags as well here. Been selling portions at a loss to offset my thetagang gains. Offloaded 20% of my shares, we’ll see how it goes this year.
*E-Bus play is safer than volatile stocks like TSLA and RIVN:* This is the first time in American history that school districts across the country have enough grant funding from the government to purchase new school buses for free. Electric ones. The $5 billion in EPA money from the IRA is covering 100% costs for many school districts, with [$1B issued](https://electrek.co/2022/10/26/the-epa-just-awarded-1-billion-to-389-school-districts-for-electric-school-buses/) every year until 2026. Green Power Motor Co **(GP)** was the breakout star of my portfolio so far in 2023, with a nice pop after they absolutely fucking nailed their January earnings report. Sold on a nice gain of 55% since buying in last year closer to their bottom. GP makes an electric bus literally called the *BEAST*. Lion Electric Co **(LEV)** is the one I am watching next. They should have a nice pop on next earnings due to production and delivery records with their Joliet facility coming online 11/22 and currently [rolling out vehicles](https://electrek.co/2022/11/02/first-lion-electric-school-bus-made-in-us-at-joliet-factory/). They have an incredible book of orders to fill; [2,408 orders](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/lion-electric-announces-third-quarter-2022-results-301673915.html) consisting mainly of 2,085 very expensive electric buses. Lion has a red carpet to an actual successful ramp-up of production to work through said book of business. This is so promising because LEV is a newer company but they already have a book of orders going toe to toe with Blue Bird Corp, the industry leading bus maker in North America that has been around for decades longer. E-bus tickers to watch: **LEV, BLBD, GP, PTRA**
PTRA, MVST, LEV if you believe in the EV sector
Holding bags on PTRA, DNA, IONQ, PL, CORZ, GENI… gosh no wonder my portfolio is redder than hell
I’ve got $ANAC pre merger holding steady around $10 that will likely liquidate. Then SOFI, RKLB, EVGO, PTRA (all of whom I still have hopes for) and future tax lost harvesting opportunities in LTCH and VLD.
