When mythos news was announced all consulting companies stock m went down. Look at Accenture (ACN) and IBM for example. ACN went down to 178 and recovered to 195. Anchored vwap to their earning last month and you see it was definitely oversold. Nice chunk of earnings on that play. When anthropic announced you can upgrade mainframe using Claude few months ago, IBM took a hit. And recovered. These are good plays.
Yet the hedge funds are fucking up individual retail investors lives shorting indiscriminately off the back of this narrative they’ve invented. INTU, NOW, ADP, TEAM, and so many others have been trashed. I have lost 2/3 of what I had invested in ACN (IT Services, similar story) because of them. I hope they burn in hell, they’ve ruined my life
ACN is attractive. Started a position.
ACN woman seemed a little defensive on CNBC. Based on my experience in the business world, I don’t see much need for consultants although I know a lot of people making a good living doing it. I expect there should be less need for expensive consultants once AI lives up to the hype surrounding its potential.
Plays for tonight (I’m ice cold and can’t pick any winners) Calls: LUNR, RCAT Puts: MU, ACN, BABA, FIVE, CSIQ
#TLDR --- Ticker: ACN Direction: Up Prognosis: Buy LEAPS Catalyst: They aren't the ones getting replaced by AI; they are the ones companies will hire to help them replace *their* staff with AI. Catchphrase: Who you gonna call? (to cut your workforce in half)
Sold my IBM early this morning. Went to buy puts on Accenture (ACN) but it’s already been battered - down $160 from its high. AI is killing everything. IBM has far more consulting revenue than PLTR.
Except that right now, Wall Street hates them! :S I just bought some ACN shares to try and catch the rebound. But I don't have much faith in it!
It's just not sustainable. AI is our focus, but our talent is sucked out by other companies, its all I see every time I log into LinkedIn. I am a consultant in AI and get paid around the price of a generalist tech consultant. I see listings for the same roles at different companies that are paying 35-50% more for their AI roles. Talent will never stay if they can't be properly compensated. Our employee stock purchase plan was renamed to the ACN bag holder program.
You know...before you post stupid questions like this, you can attempt to answer it yourself by going to Finviz or some other screener tool. Here's a list, sorted by market cap, of companies -20% (there's no option to select -25% without a subscription) over the last year, within the tech sector only: https://finviz.com/screener.ashx?v=141&f=sec_technology,ta_perf_52w20u&ft=4&o=-marketcap For those too lazy to click the link: SAP, CRM, ACN, QCOM, ARM, INTU, ADBE, NOW, ADP, INFY, MRVL....it goes on for 18 pages x 20 tickers each page.
ACN is getting tagged teamed by MSFT and PLTR earnings.
How do people feel about NET and APP and ACN at the current price?
What the fuck happened to ACN?
What's interesting is among the software blowup, IT stocks most susceptible to dev programming is now booming for some reason, ACN, EPAM
My low conviction plays saving my portfolio ACN, URA, UUUU, Sadly also holding NFLX, CRM, META, SPY, QQQ Jesus fucking christ.
ACN creeping up. You’re going to be replaced 👀
I think CRM, ADBE, DECK, ZTS are good value. All highly profitable. I recently bought ACN.
A “Black Friday sale” only matters if the business is healthy, not just the stock price. TOST = razor thin margins, still proving the model. UBER = finally profitable but priced like growth + regulation risk. UNH = temporarily beaten down, but the underlying business is a monster. PGR = one of the best-run insurers in the country. ACN/ADBE = slowing enterprise spend + multiple compression, not broken companies. A drop from ATH isn’t a thesis. But a good business temporarily hated by the market is a sale. Out of this list, UNH and ADBE look the closest to “actual discount” vs “just falling.”
> Whats the deal with Accenture (ACN)? It is trading near its 2022 lows, seems like a quality company The consulting industry is being disrupted by AI. Consultants are just using AI to do the work that anyone can do themselves by using AI. Makes no sense now for large companies to hire big consulting companies when they can just have their employees use AI.
Whats the deal with Accenture (ACN)? It is trading near its 2022 lows, seems like a quality company that is unloved. Is it a similar situation to ADBE where earnings may be strong but AI is threatening the moat and they have pissed off customers?

ACN - 6/18/26 Calls - $280 strike - $16.25avg
+$1377 this weekend from Robinhood NFL Bets. Tomorrow morning I’m eyeballing and buying ACN leap $280 calls - June 18th 2026 exp. Twice this weekend I saw them advertised, one on the UFC PPV the other on NFL RedZone.
why is ACN going up? They should be getting rekt due to H-1b restrictions
They beat expectations again, but federal funding cuts affect their projected growth a bit. Their AI business is growing rapidly - this is similar to google cloud 5 years ago - a small part of business , but growing exponentially . I think it’s a great entry point for the best of breed in the industry. I have never seen them traded at such a low PE multiple. It can go lower in the short term , but they will figure it out over the next few years. They always do. ACN will bounce back to above $400
I’m holding my loser ACN calls. They’re gonna turn around if I sell!
ACN was supposed to go up. I had a “feeling”😭😂🤦🏻♂️
i have a feeling in my balls that accenture will go up. $ACN Calls
Does ACN report their earnings before the market opens, European time?
Anyone playing ACN earnings? I bought some stock, hoping it pops during pre-market/earnings in the AM.
What do people think of ACN hitting 330 with earnings in the morning? I was pretty bullish but checked their subreddits and the employees seem miserable. Now I believe there's no limit to their greatness
ACN going to 290 at open
still hope for SFIX puts are not cooked yet lets see at market open tomorrow. ACN I hope it works out :)
Wsb down on ACN so that means calls gonna print.
The Accenture Reddit doesn’t seem hopeful (mainly an employee sub). But the ACN bulls tout they’ve got partnerships with mega players and a lot of acquisitions under their belt. I’m going to go with the employees on this one. lol
ACN BABY just stay where you are
I'm thinking ACN calls and SFIX puts. Rationale: \- ACN appears to have tempered expectations but their cashflow/balance sheet is strong. I dont anticipate a strong movement but a slow 2 to 3% movement in the coming days \- SFIX could have similiar reaction to other consumer disc stocks and their profit margins are not great. All the money is ploughed into AI and this is in a different industry.
Every one should load to the gills ACN 1/16 260c because they are gonna print hard and because I have them.😬
I bought ACN calls😭😂! It ain’t over till the ceo sings!
I bought $235 puts for Oct 17th on ACN, 17% up since yesterday, I'm also eyeing puts on BB but waiting to see what tomorrow is like, hoping for a pump so I can get them cheaper
You missed ACN that im bagholding as well!
Accenture ACN - HUGE H1B shop
ACN puts COST calls MU calls FLY calls
ACN puts COST calls MU calls FLY calls
I know hard to believe while it’s so green. Bought $ACN low this morning for earnings next week
ACN undervalued. Calls for me.
The biggest trades on ACN today were ALL put buys. That's wacky.
Just saw someone did a $14 million sell put on ACN that expires tomorrow.
That is a tough one. ACN has historically been a great company with 9-10% annual growth, but the growth seems to be slowing to the 7-8% range. That will likely cause a reduction in the "normal" PE ratio. I guess the question would be whether you have another stock in mind with similar quality and better prospects? If so, you might want to sell and buy that. If you intended ACN to be a long term growth holding, I would probably hold it or add to it. Note: I am an amateur investor and this is not financial advice.
Thank you. If PEG = 2.86 ( pe of 20/7) is to high meaning overvalued ? So the mean reversion is in the cards , what should be a reasonable PEG ? I am holding ACN , which I thought currently trading at attractive P/E of 20 relative to its history (which is closer to 27) , but the peg is way over 3. Can’t decide if I add to my position or liquidate
Probably ACN, but I just won big yesterday with Oracle and today with VNCE
wondering if $ACN and $EPAM's sizable drops this week (today in particular) is due to the market pricing in the possibility of some version of this HIRE Act getting passed. From an Economic Times article yesterday - >A Republican senator’s move to introduce legislation to tax IT services outsourcing in the US could badly hurt India’s tech companies if passed, as it would offset their cost advantage, add to pricing pressures and slow down deal flows. Senator Bernie Moreno’s Bill, “The Halting International Relocation of Employment Act” ([HIRE Act](https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/topic/hire-act)), introduced in the US Senate on Saturday seeks to impose a 25% tax on American firms outsourcing jobs overseas.
I don't have anything substantial to offer here but if you talk about ACN you might as well talk about DAVA, EPAM, COGNIZANT, GLOBANT etc. They are all in similar boats, can the IT consultancy industry recover? Or is it going the way of Fiverr?
Thanks for calling this out, it's good to have someone actually check the numbers. Just looked at ACN's dividend data and you're right about the performance, but our algorithm actually wouldn't have picked it during that timeframe anyway. ACN was only yielding 1.0-1.5% which is way below our 2-6% range, so it would've scored terribly on the yield component. So yeah, it sucked during those years but our system would've avoided it for being too low-yield for income investors. Not saying our approach is perfect by any means, but this is actually a decent example of the yield filter doing its job and keeping out stuff that looks ok on paper but doesn't fit the income profile. Appreciate you fact-checking this stuff!
ACN, stock prices fell due to concerns about ai but their financial performance is still coming out good and imo there’s still going to be a need for their services. Could be a good mid term hold
I only risk about 3% of portfolio. I just made $1000 lol but I own significant amount of ACN stock.
Accenture Plc NYSE: ACN At 5 year lows 🤔
Damn son looks like you were holding ACN
ACN Feb-April -28%, April-August -24%.
Big stocks like ACN making new 52 week lows.
Seems to be some strong downtrends developing on consulting stocks recently. ACN, BAH, IT, CDW, FCN etc.
>The frequently made comparisons of its potential to growth to Facebook and other platforms is ridiculous IMO. Who cares? Big institutional money, ones actually driving the price, have decided that it has a massive upside opportunity and so they have been buying any little dip that shows up. Have fun losing money i guess, there are plenty of actually weak stocks to short see MRNA, ACN, UNH.
LULU, TGT, ACN are screaming buys
Is IT consultancy dead? ACN, IT went back to the April lows. Are consultants needed when you can just "consult" the dozens of different GPTs?
Insider trading is always an issue but controversy surrounds Trump and he has a history of shady business deals and screwing people out of money. Trump still hasn't paid contractor money for building the Trump Casino's in New Jersey. Trump is a scam artist that screws over his own supporters with scams like Trump steaks, Trump airlines, Trump University, was paid to promote a multi level marketing scam with ACN and allegedly he has committed tax fraud by undervaluing his properties when paying his taxes but also over valuing his properties when getting bank loans, etc.
Oh, yeah i suppose so. I get the sentiment of the panic sell. I did end up panic selling one stock i had with my former employer ACN, just because I'd been trying like mad to get them to give me access to my brokerage after leaving. Lost my chance to sell at 390 but still sold off in March ir April at 310 or so. That one at least I cant regret as it got put into ASTS when it was at $25, and I still have no idea if ACN has a promising path forward.
ACN making its way to 300 after its huge drop last friday.
well I did a little bit of gambling wednesday at close - bought 2 x PUT (DRI) DARDEN RESTAURANTS JUL 18 25 $210 (100 SHS) 2 x PUT (ACN) ACCENTURE PLC JUN 27 25 $300 (100 SHS) called it right on accenture (somehow even though they beat earnings...) and called it wrong on darden (who tf eats at longhorn instead of texas roadhouse anyways smh) closed both positions this morning for a cool 1.9k profit net

Seriously? Makes no sense…hopefully it climbs up at open. Sucks cuz I got out of KMX to get into ACN and of course KMX moons…
Well there goes ACN…looks like they beat but still dropped…bad guidance?
Quick DD on $ACN? Momentum stock?
Not on $APPS. I am playing $ACN.
Yesterday I bought at market close 2 x PUT (DRI) DARDEN RESTAURANTS JUL 18 25 $210 (100 SHS) 2 x PUT (ACN) ACCENTURE PLC JUN 27 25 $300 (100 SHS) rate how regarded I am...I'm gettin kinda nervous
Really? The comments I saw seemed bearish so far…so I was hoping it would rocket. Well I got out of KMX to get into ACN so I hope I don’t regret that move.

ACN has been doing great lately
The fact that everyone is bullish on ACN scares me lol
