Red Day APPLE, MSFT, NVDA, GOOG, AMZY, META, TSLA...are known as the magnificent seven and largely influence the market, even can with penny stocks, especially around sentiment. 5 of the 7 are red right now.
Stop losing all the money you worked your ass off for to pay the fund manager of AMZY his bonus. You aren't just throwing your money away, you are being used by people richer than you and we all need to be smarter than this.
Good Day WSB... Hopefully this will be allowed but if not I will try to continue this elsewhere. Simply put, I got into getting out of debt, saving for retirement and trading equities way too late in life. I've had to learn everything on my own through watching Youtube videos and reading Reddit forums like WSB. When my first Grandchild was born I knew that I wanted to start an investing account for him. So what you see here is where that account stands as of January 1, 2026. After reading the WSB Dark Horse Thread, I thought I might as well take your input and hand it over to you guys/gals. The OPEN, RIVN, GXX and AMZY were all my pics before I went with your recommendations in that thread above. I had more share of ONDS but sold it for profit and kept just that one share as a placeholder for future use. Hopefully this comment will be allowed and will [update the portfolio](https://imgur.com/a/3k1S3vM) around the first of every month. I am excited to see where this goes. Thanks
AMZY is down $5 in the past year and a $7.77 dividend distribution. I.E it returned $5 of your principal in that distribution.
You could buy some decent dividend yielding stocks and sell covered calls against them. If you get called out you can sell short term puts to get put back into them. You could also put a little money in things like AMZY.
AMZN at these recent prices on this dip, for sure! I already own so much that I shouldn't be adding more. So I buy AMZY when AMZN dips.
time to get aggressive with the income funds on DRIP and hope its enough to turn off that DRIP in about 15 years SPYI, QQQI, JEPQ are staples of income investing. you could go CEF's with RQI and UTG or they could go full REGARD and hit up the YM Funds on DRIP for a quick snowball, i suggest AMZY, CONY and ULTY
YM Bro lol I shamelessly hold AMZY and CONY just to juice my monthly income
Love my midstream oil & gas MLPs. (And I agree on your "reddit isn't always garbage advice", not just for stocks but lots of stuff.) It may be there's more and more AI generated crap content, but normally that's done with some sort of profit motive, so the real humans aren't that hard to spot. My holdings: ET and EPD, I'm up 38 and 64% in them, not counting the DRIP purchases. They're my 1st (tied with AMZN) and 5th largest individual stock holdings and pay a glorious 7.3 and 6.8% dividend. AMZN is a close 3rd, as I have a 5 banger return on that. The oldest shares (about half of what I own) are up 16x! Once I retired I put some into AMZY to get some day-to-day return out of it. I'm almost always a dividend investor in individual stocks. I may not grow the AMZY position past where it is, which I'm currently about flat in share price wise - just booking the neato 50% divvies. A lot of my MLP shares in ET and EPD were bought with proceeds from closing my position in another midstream MLP, ETRN/EQT. EQT had spun off ETRN to offload a risk (court case? Regulation? I forget) and it was paying a huge dividend, closer to 9%. I was heavy in ETRN because it was paying such a huge divvy. The risk was settled in their favor, so ETRN spiked up! When EQT reabsorbed it the dividend dropped way down below 3%, so I closed out ETRN (some shares had converted to EQT by then). Almost doubled my initial investment earning 9% dividends along the way, booked gains of over 100k on this one holding from 2022-2024. Got kind of lucky, I think. It was just another MLP to get huge divs from. I wasn't aware of the EQT thing until news broke they were reabsorbing. That was a sad sale to make, but happy to book the huge gain and put those funds back to earning again.
Bought most (70%) of my shares in 2014, basis is $15.55. Added some more in 2022, and this year when it dropped so low I added AMZY to the mix.
I'd rather farm the work out to an ETF. SPYI, JEPI something like that. I added those as I pulled the FIRE trigger. I own some AMZN that's way up, too. Rather than sell options against what I own, I added AMZY to the mix as well.
not concerned, they are set to DRIP and i am very green on AMZY over the past year. the only way to make YM 'worth it' are to set them to drip, thats when they shine and the snowball effect can happen, obviously a lot faster than your standard 3% dividend stock. You are parroting a common argument with YM and it is partially valid, as long as the underlying continues to grow the NAV decay will be manageable with your monthly DCA'ing this is why i picked AMZN and COIN they will continue to grow over the next 10 years .
you just convinced me..... yolo'd what cash i have left on 1 month expiry Calls , i also hold shares and AMZY
Yea, it’s one of my favorites hands down. Been in it for a while. I’m in some of the Yieldmax funds too. NVDY would be up your alley since you made your money on Nvidia. They basically take your money, do options with it, then give most of the profits back to you. NVDY, APLY, AMZY, have been great. They have a few dozen tickers to choose from. I believe in PLTR long term, so PLTY would be a recommendation of mine too. FEPI has been very safe and consistent share price meaning if for some reason you have to sell your shares, there’s a good chance it will be near your purchase price versus taking a big loss. Seriously, ignore all the naysayers on here. Your goal is very easy. Hell, you could buy $40k worth of GME and make $3-4k a month selling calls. For how long is the question, but no need for you to do that with your 400k. Research and buy the tickers I mentioned above (not GME) if you like them and then do your thing. If you bring in more than what you need, buy more stock, don’t spend foolishly just because you’re making more than you need. Keep building more income and a cushion in case shit hits the fan.
If someone had 1 million in cash, how risky would it be to throw into a yield max like AMZY? Wouldn’t that potentially be $700,000 in income over a year?
I went overboard Barring à Covid event, I can cost average down borrowing up to 40% against my margin account(with collateral in the inherited IRA) During 10-25%+ correction This is how Yieldmax grew to at least 25% of my portfolio with my largest positions in NVDY and MSTY. I leverage these at the lows, deleverage by 25% and then let distributions pay me as they pay offthe margin loan. I also use dividends from the IRA to pay down the loan but holding off until next year to make sure my income appears lower. 2 months later, the loan is only 34% of the original value taken out Aug 5. If APLY,AMZY,MSfO,NVDY,MSTY can hold their 2023 or 2024 lows, the principal would still test a higher high once the loan is paid off.
MSTY, AMZY, APLY, QDTE, XDTE $2000 in each, do not reinvest the dividends. With the Dividends buy IWM, when you reach 100 shares start selling ODTE covered calls on IWM, 20-30 delta.
AMZY - no high risk that the fund will go broke and go to 0?
im 41 collecting dividends monthly, simplify your dividend allocations, suggesting: SPYI, JEPQ, UTG, DIVO, O, and a very small amount 25k of AMZY your selection is way too heavy in REITS and that didnt go well for the last 2 years. SCHD is too slow for what you are wanting to achieve.... go heavy into SPYI and JEPQ consolidate your Reits into O
no mention of Kuiper belt which will be the next cash cow, competing with star link will be big for amzn as they bring Sat. internet to the masses .... this guy is an amateur Full disclosure, holding 101 shares of AMZN 75 shares of AMZY im long like donkey kong
Sept 200 call, thats bold seeing where we are at right now..... im long term holder of AMZN and AMZY not sure we are gonna hit that mark even with good earnings in Aug..... post your loss porn please
Research investing monthly paying dividend covered call ETFs or REITS. Ex: JEPI, O, AMZY, CONY, etc. The caveat is that these are taxed as ordinary income and not as qualified dividends in a taxable account. I only invest these in my Roth Ira and HSA.
JEPQ, SPYI, ARCC, CVX, NEE, AMZY. Hi yield and some growth
I bought TSLY too early and AMZY too late, so I just stuck it all in GPIX and let it simmer.
Time to dump $30k into fucking AMZY and CONY!
You're wrong, JEPQ is owning right now i hold it in my ROTH on DRIP, AMZY is also one i have on DRIP and am up big on..... there are GOOD CC funds there are also CRAPPY ones, do your due diligence and you will find some gems.
(Nvdy) (Cony) (AMZY) (Tsly) (Aply) (Gooy) pay monthly. Compounded your $ will grow fast! Good Luck.. Don’t forget to do your DD
I think theres this company called amazon that does it too $AMZY
I’d go for something like AMZY or GOOY. Tesla is too frothy, so you lose most of the upside and suffer all the downside. AMZY has outperformed AMZN and would still give you a hefty profit over yout interest.
Or you could have purchase AMZY n collect dividend every month
flipped my shitty SVC position into 2k shares of DISH - flipping my XYLD to AMZY tomorrow. I don't think the cell phone for prime subscribers is the last play they'll make together.
