I saw my $1.8m portfolio go to 1.6m since January. I’m in solid companies & holdings apart from a few speculative plays, BBAI, SOUN & SOFI. I’ve been buying those in 10-100 lots in March. I’m expecting things to be worse for Q2 2026 as our big brained leader pisses on his followers while they thank him for the privilege. When the market recovers, we’ll be ok.

Funny you mentioned BBAI, I bought a buttload the day after earnings specifically because I saw how much cash they had on had to weather a downturn.
There are still plenty of dogshit AI startups that will get obliterated when the music stops. Companies like C3AI, BBAI, etc. Also doesn't help that even though there are far less companies, big companies like openAI that are supposed to IPO with like a trillion valuation might even go bankrupt when all is said and done because they can't figure out how to monetize their LLM effectively enough against its costs to run.

BBAI is a good buy. They don’t have the strongest current financials but their FAA, us military, and NDA backlog is very promising. A bit speculative but a long hold for me. Was actually my first penny stock buy next to DFLI. Earnings Monday should be good. You’re in a good position. With the current political climate they might be in a sweet position with their contracts.

You should think how BBAI will be impacted. I just gave those stocks as a reference to Claude hype. BBAI uses predictive AI models for face recognition. Any company that collects large amounts of data will benefit from Claude hype eventually. Companies need data for AI agents or predictive AI.
C3AI: Most direct enterprise AI proxy SOUN: pure AI narrative (voice + agent workflows) RZLV: conversational AI BBAI: face recognition technology for airports. Tech used for predictive AI Claude Kills feature-based Saas but it boosts companies that own data and run AI agents. All three stocks rely heavily on data that is used for their respective technologies

RR is dumb. They offer high-capex luxuries to low-capital, low-margins industries in a field that competes directly with Tesla. They should either invent a *practical* robot for everyday consumers (my preference) or select 'advisors' with defence contacts, because the barista shtick isn't going to work out. Similar story with BBAI. I got a lot out of them (put it all in TMC and Zijin Mining). They're a serious company and they're an old company, so they're doing something right. But they're competing with Palantir, Securitas, Wisekey, Anduril, etc. That's just not viable long-term. So either they develop niche offerings or get out of the defence pool entirely.
And is BBAI the one that's down 38% too?

I can think of three AI names with "AI" in the name. c3AI (-93% in the last 5 years), Rezolve AI (-74%) and Big Bear AI (-54%) Whenever there's a hot theme, it often feels like a few smaller names that somehow manage to gain attention/hype (like have AI in their name.) They have some hot streaks, get talked up online (but never really talked up in financial media) and get traded around but a couple of years later momentum has eroded and people have left for the new thing or names in the theme that have stronger fundamentals. Apparently BBAI approved massive dilution at the end of last year.
BBAI is the worst "investment" I made. I should have known, it was in the name "Big Bear"
You can get burned doing this with strong upward movement as much as downward movement. I was doing this with MU back when it was 150 and ended up capping my gains. Mostly what I look for doing this is something high beta but a relatively steady range for past 3-6 months. I like BBAI for this because the low stock price lets me get yield without commiting too much money. Don't need to care to much about price movement because Im already up more than the shares themselves are worth.
I sold puts when there was a ton of negative sentiment driving those premiums up, I did the same with selling calls during huge pumps. I occasionally add shares when low enough below my shares cost basis. Overall have done quite well with BBAI, I think they will do well as a company so I’ll continue what I’ve been doing building up a position and being paid to wait in the meantime. There are always massive swings and overreactions. Pay no mind to the “it’s the next PLTR!!” rhetoric, it is in every similar stock sub. If you believe in the long term thesis of investing in this company, stick to your conviction and stack.

Agree on everything. Would add space stocks like ASTS / RKLB. Those companies are great but have no earnings. Market showed that even best earnings for best companies recently give 1-5 min pump and it goes down. All stocks with no p/e like ONDS/RCAT, SOUN,BBAI, RR etc started to go down during ATH and didn’t bottom at 200 EMA/VWA Same goes for PLTR. It was no brainer buy all that time recently not since that fold from 205 AH from previous ideal ER. This ER was 2x better than previous and that shit did fold like crazy. Also everyone laughs and say but the dip, trump will not make market go down etc. this makes me think bottom is not in. Looks like there gonna be relief rally’s which will fill like we out of the woods but those who thinks for a living know we ain’t out of the woods from October 10. Also BTC was good first indicator that there is no money for premium non existent currency. Can be V reversal anyway…
Soooo... BBAI & CRWV moved earnings from next week to 2+ weeks later then they showed on monday. NVDA 2/25 and now CRWV on 2/26..... maybe NVDA will announce they are buying CRWV during their call 😉
