CBRL and SCHL rises on upgrade; ATVI up on easing regulatory concerns; SCHL slides
Let’s hope DAL turns out better than CBRL. Followed a whale that bought 1.3 million of these at .64. I have a .29 average. Im stupid.

CBRL is putting the cracker back in Cracker Barrel.
Can't get a bloody mary for breakfast at CBRL
If you don't have a better place to eat breakfast then Cracker barrel, a local joint around where you live, then you need to move. You're living in a third world country.CBRL PUTS
The wildest ticker isn’t NVDA or CBRL on their own—it’s NVDA measured in Cracker Barrels: NVDA/CBRL in tradingview. Earlier this year Nvidia went on a monster run against Cracker Barrel, basically doubling from spring into early summer. But since July? The ratio’s been flat. Nvidia stopped gaining ground in units of biscuits and gravy—it’s just been stuck in the same range. So right now you could say: one NVDA still buys about 1.1–1.2 Cracker Barrels, same as two months ago. The big question is whether this is just a pause before the next leg up, or if the Nvidia/Cracker Barrel trade topped out?
That's looking like the only thing that may help my SNOWy CBRL overnight situation.
Lol sold my CBRL calls today for a measly profit and of course that news comes out after hours and it spikes
This whole CBRL logo flap had to be manufactured outrage for attention. I should have played this.
dang it. I should have bought CBRL - too delicious to fail
Oh look CBRL recovering from their logo fiasco. 😂
Once again, bullying works $CBRL
US govt. takes 10% stake in CBRL
Definitely shorting CBRL
Bro, this CBRL betting market is wild
Buying CBRL in the midst of all the logo handwringing has been a good move so far
Why is CBRL not at $10 a share right now. THEY CANCELED UNCLE HERSHEL!
All in CBRL, company knows its customers and will pop with their new logo.
Puts on CBRL? Cracker Barrel is getting the Bud Light treatment.
Ohhhh YES! a new week of AWESOMENESS... Getting the snacks ready for opening bell tomorrow. 10 more days till World Nuclear Symposium Sep 3-5 and Uranium blast off to the Moon....Also rate cuts. Those AI's, Data centers and Robots/Drones are not going to power themselves.... All in on DNN, UEC, UUUU....I have some AI plays, 2 modular nuclear reactor makers, 2 Quantum computing and a US chip manufacturer...... But also found a short position on Cracker Barrel (CBRL).. Good luck to everyone TOMORROW.....
I mean, calls on $CBRL is a no-brainer, right? They'll either cave and go back to the old logo, or else people will untwist their panties and move on to some other outrage.
Short CBRL their new rebrand has backfired
CBRL has been in decline since Covid. They will be bought out by PE soon enough and Red Lobstered.
Why didn't you just buy puts on cracker barrel (CBRL) everyone in the market knew what was coming and its been on a 5 yr downtrend anyway, you had nothing to lose with otm options
I bought my calls in CBRL this afternoon. The companies Financials are sound, they just need to weather the backlash from their rebrand and they'll be fine. Also they are legit my favorite restaurant.
Fundamentally sound stocks like CBRL and CELH go down while meme stocks like AMZN go up smh
Imagine dumping a company over a logo? Easiest leap calls to make on CBRL.
CBRL $30 next year
CBRL down because of a logo!!! Wtf
CBRL They beat on earnings yet dropped due to “bad press from a logo change.” The people grabbing the food there will hardly ever notice, nonsense selloff I intend to profit off of.
CBRL cracker barrel's woke female ceo decided to change their logo today. Stock down 12% lmao
Someone in here better post a massive gain porn from CBRL puts
Shorting the ever living shit out of CBRL
Both Leos >>> New Pope is Leo >>> Catholics eat crackers >>> CBRL moon
next big short is $CBRL
From what I gather...There was a stock CBRL or something like that...that just turned into PEW (online gun store) that is associated with a certain prez's family (you will have to look that one up, as I am going on memory here)
Read CBRL and I'm like why is this guy bullish on cracker barrel :)
$CBRL for the win today
Went all in on CBRL and of course it went down smh
I think Google bots have seized WSB cause co. is in CapEx hell for their woefully inferior AI service Gemini and need $ Only 2 viable publicly available AIs are OpenAI ChatGPT and xAI Grok. Microsoft Copilot is just ChatGPT lite. Apple doesn't even know what it's doing. Meta AI (llama?) just points you towards Facebook Marketplace for used ATVs. And then there's that Chinese one that censors itself. In conclusion, Cracker Barrel calls! CBRL
Should have done CBRL..
I think you should do CBRL instead.
Calls on CBRL because fat cunts are forever NB I have no positions; nfa
HCLP - was a LP paying a 25% yield. It ended up imploding and the price dropped like a rock. Fortunately, I bailed early enough that I only lost a few thousand bucks. CBRL - Actually could have done really well with it, as I sold calls with a 170 strike, had the shares called away, but couldn’t resist selling a 170 put right afterwards. I ended up having to buy the stock back and held on until the dividend was cut, then sold at a significant loss. GE MPW
I will be using UBER to order some CBRL. Also gonna blow down and buy some TLRY. Probably throw a little money on the game via DKNG’s and order some toiletries on AMZN.
Hit the CBRL puts on the head today
Okay I legit own CBRL i didn't like my entry, and the first time the Ceo spoke I felt I was fucked I've heard her speak 2 other times and legit might buy more... "Modernizing CrackerBarrel isn't going to be what people are saying" she's tried a lot of different things and letting Data Points to make large changes the few she's implemented are well received if this was When the Ceo change happend div got slashed I think that was a good time Now that she is starting to impliment plan I think there is legit huge upside here
I don't disagree that's it's a business in decline but the comment about consumers spending elsewhere during this quarter is false. CBRL has one seasonal trend and that's a consistent spike in revenue during Q4 due to the holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Lots of families will "cater" those holiday meals from CBRL.
if Im ever scared I just order CrackerBarrell and buy CBRL
CBRL
Even if it doesn’t do well , the rate cut with weather down the impact , just like CBRL and GIS
Quite surprisingly, during the past couple years, CBRL has been working to get liquor licenses at their locations; they're hoping to serve up some Sunday mimosas to the retiree crowd. Boozy drinks are highly profitable, so in theory it sounds like a solid plan, but I question if their customer base really does that much daydrinking.
I've been a CBRL bear since those cunts started charging for apple butter, then they got rid of uncle hershels breakfast!! I want chicken tendies with my god damn eggs and bacon to 0 with them
Playing both sides on CBRL. No telling, could surprise everyone
I was thinking the same thing for CBRL. Inverse WSB
Nah, I’m in SOFI this week, CBRL seems safe as it is shitty. However if I lost money because of Cracker Barrel that would be a low point in life
Only play I’m seeing is CBRL this week outside of FOMC. CBRL puts
I think so called price targets are the average of wall street bank analyst 12 month projections. These are to be taken with a grain of salt, so to speak. Often, these are contrarian indicators, not sure they are that useful, honestly. Regarding CBRL, this is a great brand that has seen sluggish sales. The plans they announced don't seem that great, but who knows. It could just be as simple as inflation causing the customer to be cautious, and there are also a lot more options out there. I think these also explain Starbuck's problems as well.
I'm up 20% to 40% on BBY, C, JWN, and T. I'm down 50% to 70% with CBRL, PTON, RIVN, and WW.
I thought I had Puts on CBRL Nailed and then it dumped hard, good thing I wasn't in a position.
Anybody got companies on a negative trajectory? I wanna short one or two more, right now I have CBRL and TDOC
Here’s a list of some of these beatdown stocks / value plays. thoughts? NKE, MTN, CBRL, PERI, APPS, ALB, PZZA, SPWR, SEDG, UPS
They catered to the traveler with locations near interstates. Their menu doesn’t have any healthy options and old favorites gone. Their customers are getting older. A healthy menu would help, but the new menu options are not healthier. Hate seeing CBRL go down as I grew up in Lebanon and went to their first restaurant.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store (CBRL) stock has been down for more than a year due to several factors impacting the company's profitability and growth prospects: Declining Profitability: Despite revenue being close to all-time highs, Cracker Barrel's earnings per share (EPS) have declined significantly, dropping 63% year-over-year through the first three quarters of fiscal 2024.This decline in profitability is primarily attributed to higher labor costs from increased wages and additional labor hours, as well as elevated corporate spending. Dividend Cut: In May 2024, Cracker Barrel announced an 80% reduction in its quarterly dividend from $1.30 per share to $0.25 per share. This drastic dividend cut was necessitated by the company's unsustainable dividend payout situation due to deteriorating earnings. Inflationary Pressures: Cracker Barrel has been persistently grappling with inflationary pressures, including commodity and wage inflation, which have affected its operational performance and profitability. The company expects commodity inflation to range from 0% to 2% and hourly restaurant wage inflation to be around 5% in fiscal 2024. Declining Retail Sales: Cracker Barrel has witnessed declines in comparable store retail sales, with a 5.3% year-over-year decrease in the second quarter of fiscal 2024, primarily driven by lower sales across categories like toys, food, and decor. Industry Challenges: The restaurant industry as a whole has been facing challenges, including dismal traffic and shifts in consumer discretionary spending. Cracker Barrel acknowledges operating in an uncertain environment and expects industry traffic to remain under pressure for the rest of fiscal 2024. In summary, Cracker Barrel's stock has been down for over a year due to a combination of declining profitability, a significant dividend cut, inflationary pressures, declining retail sales, and broader industry challenges impacting the company's growth and financial performance. https://www.perplexity.ai/search
Vibing on the demise of CBRL
Pfff. CBRL is changing the restaurant industry with their green chili cornbread. Ceo knows this is what the people want
Did you guys see anything about Cracker Barrel over the weekend? I am reading that the CBRL CEO shit the bed on a call.
No comment *points at AH %+ on CBRL*
Calls on ULTA and puts on CBRL for me. I love cracker barrel, but the times I am in there, it is extremely vacant. Plus with them closing down stores. I think it makes sense. And ULTA is always super busy.
Damn CBRL is still trading publicly? Puts it is then; free money
Tell me you're a CBRL bag holder, without telling me you're a CBRL bag holder
Yes! I bought a little bit a few months back. Finances seem rather OK if not great and the dividend is nuts, which I guess means market is pricing in a dividend cut. In my observation, CBRL has been lagging the industry in menu price hikes so I do think they will have some room to increase margins a bit as the industry stabilizes. They're basically at McDonald's prices right now which is just silly.
Off-the-wall question: Was wondering if there was a hard-and-fast rule about what determines the width between strike prices? I know volume has a bit to play in it, but say for example: BAC/PFE/TFC, etc. have strike prices $0.50 apart, some have $1 apart, while HSY/CBRL/BA, etc. have stock prices $2.50 apart, so forth and so on. Just wondering if, for example, I am interested in options with a $2.50 width, if there was a mechanism to tell which would be which, without having to randomly punch in stock symbols haha. Thanks for your time!
CBRL A restaurant and a novelty store, just off the highway, that isn't franchised?!? I'll see you apes at the giant checkers table on the next road trip.
got wrecked on CARG and WDAY, hope i can salvage from U puts and CBRL calls
Anybody know if Cramer is bullish on CBRL? Last time he has the curse on it for poots
Agreed, CBRL somehow made money
.........Unless $CBRL offers AI with a side of eggs n ham
