Yeah I held EONR but unfortunately that one wasn’t even profiting off oil when the prices spiked cause they had their contracts locked into pre-Iran war prices. ANNA was another one that didn’t dilute but that one was LNG
This is simply not true mate. It ran during the start of the Iran conflict like half a dozen other tickers for the first two weeks and came back down to earth because the oil price is not pegged to the value of the stock. However, it’s done absolutely nothing since this week while oil has had many spikes in price for the last month. You know why? Because it’s a low float squeeze. That’s all mate. There is no value. You could say the same of TPET, TMDE, EONR, RBNE, RUBI&CISS (shipping), SKYQ, ANNA and any of the micro float garbage that has blipped in recent weeks. Be it oil, gas, fert or shipping/freight… The only difference is that the blips are no longer substantial.
EONR did not do any offerings. Insiders did not sell either.

I’ve seen a few rumblings on here about $EONR but have been skeptical to add at these prices; their earnings/guidance just don’t impress me, much less their growth rate. I did, however, just realize that their hedging could start to show its genius if oil prices start to drop, even though they’re hedged quite low relative to what’s become the norm. No position, just thinking out loud…
Back in EONR. I always believed in the long term with them. I bought a small portion at .60 and will continue to load around that price until the next catalyst.

I've been selling almost everything since Friday...tech mostly. Holding AMFN, ECOX, EONR (because I'm down 50%+), and a couple other smalls. No one should follow me because I don't know what I'm doing but I'm curious...anyone else have a weird feeling about this market?
My mother (age 81 now) cleared it IDK, 4 or so years ago now? Swore it was all going to crash, and I mean this is *after* COVID began. Meanwhile I'm like "buy, buy, buy," as much as I could for someone with minimal income. Right when travel started to tank, just before lockdown in the US, I bought Delta at $20, Moderna at relatively low, I forget, and Caribbean Cruise lines low, I also forget, maybe like $17? I don't remember. Sold when they doubled, bought other stuff. I'm not wealthy by any stretch but hey, what I do have is up 88% on NVDA, 160% on INBX, 7.x% on VOO, down 49% on EONR (I don't have much in it, so I haven't cut it loose yet, but really think I probably should), and +5.x% on HELE.

I’m buying and holding EONR. It’s an oil micro in Texas that just cleared a bunch of its debt and picked up rights for more drilling in the Permian basin this year. They hedged some selling at 70 a barrel which guaranteed no need to stress about price fluctuating or being manipulated. Global supply has been hit so they will have buyers for the foreseeable future. They’ve been getting shorted (who hasn’t) but are having to buy back this week. It won’t moon but I think we are gonna see a good return from even where we are at now. Earnings call is next week and I think that’ll be the catalyst for another rise from where it’s at now. I’m still new to this though.

Hello fellow regards. My succes-rate these last few weeks has been very good - IF - I sold when I made profit. But often I held too long, either to a small profit, or to a loss. So from what I can see, I am good at picking stocks initially, but I am not very good at selling / realizing when the pump is over. I bought ANNA at 3.75, held to 10+, all the way down to 5. I bought EONR at 0.94, held all the way to 1.5, and am still holding. I bought AIXI at 0.15, sold at 0.35, bought back at 1.5, held to 2.4, and all the way down to 1.7. I bought SAFX at 0.32, held all the way to 1.2, and am still holding. I guess my weakness is expecting the bullrun to continue, and then when it starts coming down, I hold for too long. What indicators do you use, if any, to tell you when to sell? Appreciate any and all help <3 Happy weekend

For what it's worth, I'm still in the green but wanted to exercise a bit of self control. I'm going to go back to monthly deposits and will still hold 2 pies, one with ETF's and Big Tech, another with pennies likely to see massive growth, EONR, IBRX, SLS, etc. I will gamble on a runner from time to time but penny stocks have taken over my life and I need it back.

I feel you; I’ve been working on talking myself into waiting for a dip to buy, just sitting back & watching things. $EONR is a perfect example of that; I made a little swinging when it was all the hype but was pretty convinced it was coming back down. Now it’s dip city but I wouldn’t touch it over $.60. I also read about the 84% rule, that 84% of the time, if you get stopped out, re-entering at the same price will yield positive results. Keeping that in mind, even if you don’t get stopped out, 84% of the time, it could come back. That also may not apply as much to penny stocks, but it’s been happening to me with $RITM. I’ve been getting shaken up & shaken out, taking out some good swings but then giving the money right back thinking it’ll dip & it keeps going up.
Even good oil stocks like EONR are getting abused and shorted into the ground.

Yeah I also made about a 30% profit on EONR. With a lot of confusion and uncertainty. But it's far more unpredictable compared to the price of oil. While I'm not an expert I know more about geopolitics than markets and I was way more sure that a ceasefire/peace plan was unlikely. But positioning yourself to benefit from it???? Difficult.
I’ve traded EONR before once. When it went to 1.5, got a nice 40% or something there so I’ll take it. EONR at least has some stuff going on and with the uncertainty Orange is causing it doesn’t need much to get those shorts sweating and cause another run to 1.5.
Oil penny stocks just seem to all have issues. EONR, TPET, KOS, PROP (ew), WTI?, REI (almost no volume) Each of these have something going on with them and they also don't seem to track oil pricing. It seems to be manipulated also so that the big oil stocks (XOM, OXY, CVX) do well. I'm not well educated, just the experience from when Venezuela situation began, to now.
