For what it's worth, I'm still in the green but wanted to exercise a bit of self control. I'm going to go back to monthly deposits and will still hold 2 pies, one with ETF's and Big Tech, another with pennies likely to see massive growth, EONR, IBRX, SLS, etc. I will gamble on a runner from time to time but penny stocks have taken over my life and I need it back.

EONR is the first name that comes to mind when you say "good oil stocks?"
Watching all these wonderful gainers whilst stuck in fuckshitting bastard EONR feeling like a numpty. Anybody got any words of comfort?
I feel you; I’ve been working on talking myself into waiting for a dip to buy, just sitting back & watching things. $EONR is a perfect example of that; I made a little swinging when it was all the hype but was pretty convinced it was coming back down. Now it’s dip city but I wouldn’t touch it over $.60. I also read about the 84% rule, that 84% of the time, if you get stopped out, re-entering at the same price will yield positive results. Keeping that in mind, even if you don’t get stopped out, 84% of the time, it could come back. That also may not apply as much to penny stocks, but it’s been happening to me with $RITM. I’ve been getting shaken up & shaken out, taking out some good swings but then giving the money right back thinking it’ll dip & it keeps going up.
Even good oil stocks like EONR are getting abused and shorted into the ground.
Surging oil exports?? Then why is EONR tanking below pre war prices?

Yeah I also made about a 30% profit on EONR. With a lot of confusion and uncertainty. But it's far more unpredictable compared to the price of oil. While I'm not an expert I know more about geopolitics than markets and I was way more sure that a ceasefire/peace plan was unlikely. But positioning yourself to benefit from it???? Difficult.
I’ve traded EONR before once. When it went to 1.5, got a nice 40% or something there so I’ll take it. EONR at least has some stuff going on and with the uncertainty Orange is causing it doesn’t need much to get those shorts sweating and cause another run to 1.5.
Oil penny stocks just seem to all have issues. EONR, TPET, KOS, PROP (ew), WTI?, REI (almost no volume) Each of these have something going on with them and they also don't seem to track oil pricing. It seems to be manipulated also so that the big oil stocks (XOM, OXY, CVX) do well. I'm not well educated, just the experience from when Venezuela situation began, to now.

Welp. I got wrecked, sold my oil stocks this morning then slowly but surely more strikes kept trickling in and now Iran is saying it’s gonna close the straight again. Sidelined until tomorrow, might be a blessing, but this shit is getting really tough to follow. I guess the “If they say one thing do the opposite” line should’ve remained true. 😒 Still got some in EONR cuz of earnings so maybe I can recoup some losses today. Feel like a doofus for finally falling for the news over reality.

As for EONR, well, after attempting to learn from ANNA and playing with this new concept of "diamond hands" and patience, as well as seeing oil was logically moving upward in response to a war in the Middle East, I gave it a shot for 2 solid weeks. But wouldn't you know it? The damn thing is allergic to going upward, go figure. And besides, by the time we swing from wiping out entire civilizations to trying out a 2-week ceasefire, that kind of volatility might as well send me to trading the VIX instead of penny stocks at that point. Oil's above 100, now it's not. Now it is. Now it's not. Open the strait or we'll kill you all. God bless the Iranian people. No thanks. I think I'm done with it. And I congratulate the masterminds of the biggest, most ruthless shakeout in stock market history, as well as the theatrical producers behind it. It's far better than what Hollywood offers . . . except the ticket prices. I won't jump back into oil at anything higher than $84.40 per barrel.

There's always a "spring" portion of the pattern (yellow), just before launch, where it's pushed down below support momentarily, to cause a rush of selling. It's like squeezing the sponge one last, good time before using it. You can see that this was also true for UGRO. Of course, the difference here being, with UGRO, the pattern happened where it needed to. In the case of EONR, the stock already ran away before the fact- so, if we're going by the book, there's a good chance that this is NOT Wyckoff accumulation. I'm holding EONR right now. I would say if you're holding, continue to. If you don't have a position, stay out until it breaks out of this area and the BS resolves first. If it breaks below and closes below .75, it's probably cooked.

EONR, TPET, RBNE all have diluted, so the risk is present and most upwards momentum they could’ve had is gone. The only good safe oil plays here are probably EONR and ANNA, ANNA is highly overvalued and EONR has their barrels already fixed pre-Hormuz prices so they aren’t actually from the oil price increase and timing the ups and downs is really hard whenever Trump decides to open his mouth every 2 days changing market sentiment.
I'm out of EONR with a nice profit. Back in SATL at 5.38. Just gonna watch everything else and see what today brings.

Just want to add, if you're long you might want to look for a better entry. Oil market could swing at any moment and I fully expect EONR to be back down at yesterday's closing price at some point in the next few weeks
I would agree with that, that's why I'm long on EONR. If there's a spike today I might sell and buy back in at a lower price when this all blows over. But generally speaking I'm expecting a 12 month hold minimum
Yeah I’m thinking long term here. Seems like the US is barreling towards oil independence and an expanded export economy. Barreling. lol. Sorry. But yeah hedging obviously sucks given the current price right now, but if they’ve all but guaranteed themselves the finances pending execution of the drilling, then to me it feels like over the next few months as the wells come online EONR isn’t necessarily on a fast track to a higher stock price but its trajectory upwards is very stable
I copied this text from a post by low_sheephearder from a month ago. Can we collectively confirm these numbers before I pull the trigger on EONR? (Talking about EONR hedge at $60 a barrel) 50% is set at $60 Q1/Q2, 25% Q3/Q4. $60 guarantees they can pay for their new wells on cash flow alone. They just got out from under $40M of debt, they aren’t going back in anytime soon. Their profit margins will only increase with the elevated pricing and I’m sure they will try to lock in more volumes at 70+ to guarantee every barrel produced is sold so they can stay on track with their growth plans. Currently 1k BOPD > 2k BOPD by end of Q2 > 10k BOPD by EOY 2027. Bought 4 drills to make it happen and have a partnership to bring in horizontal well expertise and additional man power for 95 new wells.
All in on TURB, BATL, TPET, EONR and ANNA. Thoughts and prayers.

EONR American Permian Oil. I was in it before the war. Solid management, great balance sheet. The increase in oil price just casually tripled their revenue. 92 more wells coming online.
