I bought $1000 worth of doge at that same time I think it bought for .009 I held for a little and saw GME craze starting and wanted in. I sold the DOGE after looking at the 5year chart and it had stayed FLAT for the last five years. Thought I could have fun with GME and go back to DOGE after. Fucking not two days after I sold Elon did his first Doge tweet and it just FLEW. I did make some good money on GME but if I had just held that DOGE I would have made 60k+

This is NOT a San Fran issue, this is many areas in the USA. Home prices are still high, inventory is growing but still historically low, relatively high interest rates, and “days in market” is still low **historically** but high compared to 2020-2023. I’m trying to sell my house, if you look at long term trend line price it’s insanely high compared to the 1990-2020 level (doubled since 2018), but days in market was at ~20-30 being average for 2012-2020, then 2020-2023 2-3 was average (I’m serious homes FLEW off the market), and now it’s back to 20-30 and people are freaking out because it’s high compared to an insanely low number. I’m not saying “don’t panic”, the housing market in the USA is fundamentally broken and I don’t know what it’ll take to fix it but I would be very careful buying a house right now, especially if prices rose a lot since say 2015. Yes that means whoever is buying my house, God help them, is probably in for a rough time IMO for at least the next 5 years.
