I invested in etf GDMN. It is 90% gold and 90% miners. I have been trimming for a year, but it has been incredible.
I put half in $DRTS to change the way cancer is treated. The rest is diversified into: BWET GDMN FMTM FLKR This gives you oil shipping futures, gold, momentum and South Korea. I’ll put this single stock and four ETFs up against any other portfolio over the next twelve months. NFA. DYOR.
Oh you are right, my bad. I saw GDMN when I replied.
Buying opportunity today. Everything is on sale. So far I have added to GDMN EGO ORLA ARMN CDE GDX.
I also said GDMN when I saw the gold price earlier today
How is GDMN taxed in a taxable brokerage...
Look at GDMN and GDX (ETFs). The individual miners I've added to over the last month are BTG, ORLA, ANGPY (Pt) and one other I can't think of at the moment.
Better off with an ETF backed by physical gold rather than futures contracts. Just my opinion of course. Or better yet, mining stocks or GDMN.
Yeah I'm doing combo ETFs like GDMN (gold futures and miners) and SLVR (phys silver and miners).
check out GDMN its the bees knees for that
Let rampant racism and theocratic bigotry work for you my average Gold Mining stock is up 75% in last 12 months, he's in office another 3.5 years at least :) GDX, GDXJ, GDMN if you don't want to do the research in specific companies
19 y/o from the US, and getting into investing for my future rather early I’ve started a freelancing business for myself, and tend to save more than spend., and plan on allocating some money I’ve made with my job into my future I’ve chosen to put away $30k, with $10k in domestic stock, $10k international, and $10k in laddered CDs (shorter term). These are my domestic choices: * S&P 500 weighted: $5k * S&P 500 unweighted: $2k * NIXT (S&P removed): $1k * VO (Mid-cap): $1k * GDMN (gold): $1k As for international, I was planning on doing 10k in VXUS. I'm pretty much just looking for a sanity check / advice on this portfolio. Is this a good strategy? I’m not quite sure how long I want to keep it, but know it'll be longer-term — likely 10, maybe 20, or 30+ years
in 2022 when QQQ fell 35%, BTC fell 75%? not a safe haven nor inflation hedge, just a risk on NASDAQ type investment If you want something to hold value in either Stagflation or Recession, then consider GDMN, it holds gold bullion and many gold miners and pays a 5.5% dividend, up 100% last 1 year, or also some EDV - holds 30 year US treasuries In the last recession 10/07 until 3/9/09, VGT fell about 51%, gold held steady, EDV up 60%
JAAA pays 5.4% yield GDMN holds Gold and miners and pays 5.5% yield
I like that GDMN looks like the ticker for "Goddamn"
UGL or GDMN might be what you're looking for.
Real estate? In physical, company, ETF forms, MBS, loan equity, and/or a hybrids of those? Gold? Silver? Other PMs? In jewelry, as physical bars, in physical ETF form, in a futures contract, exposure via miners, via miners ETF, in the form of crypto token, and a mixture of those above like calls on GDMN. Any non-leveraged index ETF? VOO? If that's not enough you can always sell calls and buy puts against your position.
