Mine expired on Friday I took assignment. Similarly I’m curious how many other shares were assigned and delivered? What’s the total shares available as of Friday and how many are now due? If that number exceeds the total number of shares outstanding that creates sacristy problem and should cause pressures to squeeze the price upward. Not to mention the shot interest buy back obligation. I still don’t have the clearest understanding of institutional ownership relationships with Short hedge funds. Specifically how many IO’s are lending shares to SHF’s. Or where that ratio is reflected. I understand how derivatives can effect buy and sell pressure as it relates to implied volatility. But actually delivery of shares doesn’t appear to be account for. it assumes that all contracts are closed or expire worthless. They seem to be assigning more shares than are available. That’s the metric I want to track. When I say “fraud” I’m speaking to the activities governed by Self regulated organizations that allow the over sale of shares. They allow the price of equities to be diluted by 3rd party financial firms because it’s “profitable” Im talking about the activities you and I are not allowed to participate in and suffer from. We need to start referring to it more accurately. Markets were just fine before all the fancy financial engineering that has brought us payment for order flow and dark pools.

There are very good stock analyses by economists and veterans from the industry, which are paid to make deep research and are familiar with these companies. These analyses are worth the money themselves. I also use ValueLine for this matter, and some other paid services like IO Fund, Sven Carlin, acouplecents, FastGraphs, Ruleoneinvesting tool, so I can compare various resources very quickly, without spending a lot of time on my own research. You have to choose wisely who you listen to, but once you build up your workflow it all goes smoothly and it all pays off. I spend around 200$ a month, but that's how I research. everybody has his own strategy. But, I do use a lot free tools like [roic.ai](https://roic.ai) finviz, comdirect, youtube, twitter There are free trials for every tool and platform, so you can test it for yourself. Of course, you can find 90% info free, maybe even 100%, but in my case, I found it too time consuming, and it was giving up on research completely or using the tactic I use now. Its up to you to decide if you have enough spare time for extensive research.
Meme stock OI is always amusing. The highest IO call on AMC is 40c, how dumb can you be?
Oh.... IO! ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4260)
Yes? Haha the problem is it takes a lot of time, and most of us have jobs/careers/relationships to focus our efforts on. I try to optimise my research, so yes YouTubers doing compilations videos is helpful, i treat them like podcast on my walks. I read lots of articles that are condensed (morning brew, seeking alpha, the daily upside etc) all of which to get a flavour of the enviornment, for new stocks I haven't heard about etc, to then look into properly. I look at FEC filings to see insiders buying/selling stocks, I used various websites to see which large institutions, hedge fund and high net worth individually are buying/selling/holding etc I look are the management, competition, FCF, building basic DCF models with estimates/targets with time frames. I try to understand the markets with a macro lense, FED interest rates, IO updates effect ad revenue, Russian- oil- grain etc and also try to work out which industry are growing/about to grow, which emerging markets to focus on etc As you can see, lots of noise to work through. In the end I enter the details into an excel spreadsheet, I'm currently designing a webscraping to optimise this too for time sake. Then I take everything into account as a risk to reward, and allocate a % of my portfolio to the stock, then forget about it, set timers and alarms for price action. And try to keep up today with developments with though companies.
I'll +1 this. If you're ever bored and want to read about IO Psychology, Costco vs Walmart is a good paper. It really highlights the career path Costco builds for its employees, versus the churn and burn style of WMT. Having read this in college, it is 100% why I bought the dip in COST.
WSB Thoughts on CDFs? Do y'all think they offer an idea of where futures point to open? I worked in PE, and were told that they were a scam essentially, and had zero bearing on the future IO.
OI is open interest. Idk what IO is though
There is also a report that Apple shipped 5-10% more iPhones than expected last quarter, so the truth is somewhere between, most likely. Though everyone is expecting a lousy quarter and it probably will be, any hint of getting past this by AAPL will send the stock up quite bit very quickly. Plus, unless you believe Putin will wage war forever even without ammo or soldiers left, and the Fed will continue raising rates long after the economy has slowed down, this is the time to BUY. Everything except cryptos or TSLA, the latter because of its ultra high PE which is not justified. To me, the real golden goose is AAPL. My Colombian girlfriend's iphone died yesterday and boy did she panic. "I spend my whole life on that phone, I run my business on that phone, I need a new one now, please send $800". Then, as I queried her about fixing her old iPhone she ignored me and just bought a new one on credit for the asking price. She couldn't bear to be without it even for a few hours. Therefore, multiple her by a billion and contemplate the reality of today's world. Besides basic food and survival, the iPhone is the top priority. I have seen homeless people with iPhones. In 2008, at the pits of that crash, I had 250,000 cash and decided to go all in when no one was buying stocks. I had to pick a stock though. I did the same mental math about "what is the last thing young people will give up even if there is a depression?" I decided it was the iPhone. I bought AAPl at $15 a share and accumuated more on steep selloffs and now have 55,000 shares. Warren Buffett also added to AAPL's value when he went heavily in, his first tech stock ever. So, in the time period when IO was growing my wealth with AAPL, through ups and downs, gold has been all over the place, cryptos were born, peaked during the covid lockdowns then crashed and now seem likely to die and disappear. and ten years from now if I dont sell any, my AAPL shares will probably be worth around 15 million dollars. So ,let this be a lesson. Want longterm stability and wealth growth? Invest in AAPL, and right now at $139, it is a bargain. No real risk at all.
They invest only in companies which make real, very useful, very necessary products and/or services. They are investors, not manufacturers, so stupid question. They have clashed with crypto nuts (because cryptos are not of the real world and produce nothing) and have traditionally avoided gold (because it produces nothing including no income), so I think they have been proven right in the longterm. Even though gold has been strong this past year, it is a real hassle to sell unless it is just stock in a gold company. When I inherited my mother's gold jewelry I got much less for it than it was worth. No one pays the real price for it, always a big commission, and all that jewelers craft is deemed worthless. same with silverware and gems. That is why I avoid gold. To me, the real gold is a company like AAPL. NFTs are no longer restricted to the digital world thanks to INFS.IO by YVEL.
Some real high flying commercial real estate was bought not only with ARM's and interest only to provide high cash yields. They were planning on employing the "next dumb fk" principle and flipping to them before the ARM/IO portion expired. I'm seeing folks walk away from substantial EM deposits because the deals don't work. The highly leveraged sellers are gonna get wiped starting a downward leg collapse.
Just checked the options chain and somehow all the IO are at 0. Must be nothing….
There's lots of 1,000 - 2,000 on the $1 to $2.5 strikes with almost 0 IO. That's not retail, that's an institution or market maker buying those calls to exercise. This happened with BRCC, SST, and even GME when they were at their peaks. My advice? Buy puts.
Just put a little money behind my words. bought 10 BSV 76.78p's for next friday at .2, so only $200. Chump change for you. BSV might not be the best play for options. The IO is very low and big spreads. Maybe shorting would be better, but then you would have to pay monthly interest. I donno. Maybe you are right about tlt because of the practical considerations.
Bought one in the Bay Area for $600 a foot it’s worth $1200 now. Locked in a 10 year IO at 2.8%. Do I get a high 5?
Wtf are you doing that needs 3500 io cards?? Jesus thats alot of IO.
I'm missing 3500 IO cards from Siemens on my current project. They can only promise/deliver 75 per week. I will never finish this project.

Nah these types of deals you usually don't do hard money lenders. You do interest only for 3,5 or 10 years then a balloon payment. All investors who get an IO loan refinance mid way through the loan to a long-term 30 year fixed. They have to refinance so they are betting housing prices keep appreciating for the next 10 years in order to get rid of the interest only loan.
GME + MQ up over 11% + N IO almost double digits
Ya but those were a while ago. Never got the SST or BBAI gamma squeeze we wanted and IO was crazy
SKYH, HCDI, IO, HOUR Can we have a poll for what gets in the poll? Jimmi's doing a great job, but this feels like the graveyard of memes (sorry, Jimmi)
I’ve been subscribed to Vig.IO a while and that has a nice display of options OI and GEX but it took me a while to figure out how to properly use it. In thinkorswim you can get a visual of gamma per strike/date and look at difference between put/call gamma and OI/volume. Spotgamma puts out info on Twitter and on their site for free but the pay service is better
They make the modem chips in the iPhone though that is being phased out (even then... QCOM technology is still going to be in Apple's phones). Their bigger product is the SoC (system on a chip - CPU/GPU/IO/security) in cell phones. That they don't supply to Apple. 75% of Samsung's S2 Galaxies used QCOM processors.

More SST! And maybe some IO for tomorrow
XOM - Large Cap IO - Small/Micro Cap
The most important factor is the degree of institutional ownership. If it’s low, hedges will slaughter that stock like SOS or WISH. But if the IO is greater than 80%, hedges don’t like to step on eachothers toes and they will generally not attack that stock.
FATH headquartered right by New TSLA cyber truck plant, IO, 4x in sympathy with IMPP/INDO, VTVT fat biotech just got a 5$ pt slapped on it by Zach’s with a decent si
Ik of FATH, I like IO setup a lot its def gonna squeeze again just don't know enough about it haven't really studied it. And what's VTVT?
The 2 best plays out there. IO and VTVT.
2500 of the May 7.5c, while everything else has either no IO, or very low IO. it's not ITM either so I'm guessing it's someone getting ready for another low float pump?
If you think that's retarded then [boy have I got a position to sell to you!](https://imgur.com/a/9IO7a4j) It's even up 30%! Literally cannot go tits up!
A big mistake on my part is not getting rental. I wanted to when I was in my 20s but let myself get talked out of it due to the effort to maintain it. I think the key is to get into commercial rental real estate, not residential. If you have a five-plex or larger then the value of the property is based on the NOI, not market comparables like single family. Now you can control the value of the property through income increases and reducing expenses. You can then get short term, long amortization IO only loans on the property that you refinance every few years to get non-taxable capital return on the increasing equity. Risk at that point is if cap rates go up, but that works in your favor for buying more property for less capital. You can then refi that new property when cap rates compress again.
NILE actually has the worst financials I've ever seen. Aren't you worried the pivot is a last ditch effort to get retail to save them from bankruptcy and that it will fail? How many people here got burned by the IO situation. Good luck, I hope you all make money but I'm not jumping in that river.
Boys I think IO might buy myself a steak dinner tonight. Thanks for footing the bill bears
I was also looking at GASS, IO, TUSK, ENG. I haven't invested in them yet just been watching
$ZYXI A year or so later and she could be ready to launch again. Current float is about 30% short on low volume. If it cracks and holds $6.15 on a bit of buying pressure, could see a squeeze. Beat recent earnings. High IO. Low floater. Curling up off recent lows. Lets see if history repeats itself (as it often does ...)
I can’t find the data now. Got an alert from Vig.IO that the volume was like 17,000% of OI on Friday but didn’t look into the option flow until today and it’s only showing todays. OI was 73 and volume was like 2,025 on Friday. Usually to get that many in 1 day there’s at least a few big block or sweep orders of 500-1000 but I can’t get the old time and sales from TOS either
Yes it is... I advise you commit more time to learning TA if you're having trouble with that. Like today I traded HYMC three times and made 10% each time on my day trade holding. It's easy... Then my swings are a mix of TA on identifying a range of charts with looking for catalysts. FDA approvals, clinical trial phase I-III news, company deals... So on. There's a world of data available to sift through. Like these last few weeks have been absolutely insane with oil, gas, and cyber plays. OP, CYRN, INDO, CYRN, IO, IRNT, IMPP : I played all of them in repeat. lol I made 500% on INDO in like 5 days.
I wanna see TMC IMPP HYMC and possibly IO SFET
I’m thinking IO is going to move more. They had bad reports coming out a few months ago and got heavily shorted. Now the oil issue is bringing them back and will squeeze with 0 shares to short. If the administration says American oil is a go, io is the play
Yep. https://twitter.com/KramerKarma1/status/1501590120369119249?t=IO5UefHSRe1PR9osjYLrTQ&s=19
IO check it out it's the next multi bagger
Ah, thanks! Kinda makes me nervous but I think CEI is the better penny play than IO or MULN given their bankruptcy and debt issues, respectively.
IO = Low Float, Oil Play, High Short % which could turn into a squeeze
mind to explain why IO, why REI ?
MARP SDPI ENSV OP IO top aftermarket earnerEarners! HUSA IMPP CEI still running. Tommorow should be interesting!
Last I saw IO was filing for bankruptcy. Be careful.
MULN reminds me of AVCT and IO. IMPP and INDO and basically anything oil unless Putin comes to his senses and stops (which he wont unfortunately).
You planning on buying oil on open? I'm thinking of buying CRO, IO and SNMP.
Wtf is going on with IO? Bought a few $1 calls a week or so ago and it's going through the roof. Can't find any news anywhere.
2nd $IO Low float, great annual sales.
$IO Low float, going through restructuring so long term it can grow. Has great annual sales, definitely a large amount of upside. Closed at $0.80 Friday.. could easily hit $2 this week.
Check $IO... It's going to run this week
Started a small position in IO thoughts??
I bought long dated XOM, IO, and SST calls a couple days ago, so I made a little bit. Holding all of them though.
IO up 28% at the minute. Any fundamentals as to why on that one?
"Edit: While I've got you, how is the pay in the IO centres these days, and do you guys buy accounts or just use your own? If you want to buy mine you'll have to start making offers before the SWIFT sanctions kick in because there's no way I'm taking payment in monopoly money rubles." Its a pointless conversation if you keep that attitude.
Keeping an eye on IO. Cheap calls low float
#Look at that VOL and IO at $400 😳
Over 1T is set to be eviscerated at 9:30A at current IO.
Is it true cash? Or is it Heloc? New money IO Balloon loan on primary residence? Just cause someone pays all cash, it doesn't mean that cash came from their personal savings. If they used other means than a personal savings they might be planning to within a certain time frame or have to sell if conditions change. I talk to a few different realtors that don't understand some of the deals that are going down. Investment properties that are going so high over asking, the buyers are going to have to charge 50% more for rent (that was high to begin with) just to cover mortgage costs. Its insane and imo, unsustainable. Foreclosures are low right now, when they creep up it'll change the environment quickly.
