It's down 56% since October but up 95% since last year. Are we going to keep leapfrogging over each other's dates to suit our respective narratives? You're welcome to carry on but I'm already bored after one round. Saying that a small-cap stock went down a few percent on the day of earnings means absolutely nothing when S&P500 hits a 6-month low and multi-billion companies are dropping far more than that. I can absolutely blame it all on the war because when I open my investment app there is a clear pattern. \- KTOS had two great announcements last week, including a $49mln contract on Thursday and still dropped over 5%. \- AVAV -5% \- BKSY -17% \- ONDS -6.8% \- UMAC -12% \- LPTH -13.5% (also an optics company with much larger market cap than KOPN) Look at the price per share of some of those companies. I don't know what the earnings figures would have had to look like for KOPN yesterday to not to drop and who was expecting them to look like that (certainly nobody who's been following the company closely enough) but to reiterate, 6% drop for a small company like that is a very small drop indeed. Also, if you look at the chart, you will see that the stock went well over 10% up on market open yesterday whereas I see no jumps of any kind for any other small-cap stock I hold - just steady downhill straight out of the gates. If the earnings were as shit as you suggest, the stock would've fallen off sharply. Also, you don't need to tell us you are down on your position - I gathered as much from how emotional you got in your post. Speculative investments clearly don't suit you and I hope KOPN has opened your eyes to that. I'd suggest you consider index funds or Coca-Cola instead.
Watching SLND, SIDU, KOPN and ORBS. Might add more BRTX ahead of earnings and the conference presentation next week if it dips below my average.
Ultimately, I guess I bet on future profitability. The one thing I was shocked to see was the longevity of the company. I had no Idea they've been around since 1992. My gut told me they were just ahead of the game. I was also Theon, but it's on OTC and a traded in Europe. The prices were all over the place. So I thought... $200 on KOPN seemed like a fun play.
Just hearing about KOPN for the first time, took a quick look now. Besides them doing business with ONDS, any other reasons why you pulled a trigger on KOPN?
I've been in ONDS for a couple months. The shorts have a Wall at $12 that we are having trouble breaking. 35% short interest last time I looked. The tiny float makes this thing seem crazy sometimes, but it's been holding above $9 like a champ. I bought some KOPN today, they do business with ONDS.
I've been watching KOPN for a month or 2 now, but I'm still hesitant... considering theres a war currently raging, why have they not gone up (actually gone lower??). I just don't understand.. the technology seems exquisite, but there has to be issues somewhere considering its been yoyoing around the 2-2.25 for as long as I've been watching it.. if you see a catalyst coming up, I'd appreciate a heads up, but at this time I'm not sure if I can risk if considering what I've seen over the past few months

Anyone else into Kopin (KOPN)? They are suppliers of displays and optical systems for the military, including FPV drone goggle displays for Unusual Machines (UMAC) who count several of the recent Drone Dominance Program Gauntlet 1 winners as customers (orders imminent). $41M private placement from Ondas, UMAC and Theon, $15M funding from the U.S. Army, orders from Lockheed Martin - quite a stack. I might do a brief write up on them in the next few days but I genuinely think there's gains to be had there over the next couple of years if you have the patience. Other than OPTT, the only penny stock I have my toes in but I'm yet to come across another investor.

I’m on board with you! Everyone misunderstand $KOPN. $CPSH too, but $KOPN people really don’t seem to get. It takes time to make world class heads up displays THAT GET USED MY THE MILITARY! I hope that was emphatic enough ;)

It’s the kind of additive manufacturing they do. No one else really does what they do. $KOPN is a buy, hold, and forget about it. It’s actual manufacturing here in the U.S.! We are buying that too ;)
For those trading willing to do the work during these low volume days between now and the end of the year, you can really pick up some bargains where tax loss selling is hitting the stocks that have had a difficult year. Just because these stocks are down does NOT mean they are all bargains. But often times, the selling to book a tax loss has overwhelmed the potential buying to the point buyers back off until January when the selling for tax reasons STOPS. Things to check on is the WHY (s) the stock has sold off and been weak. Is it recent news? A recent capital raise? Balance sheet showing little cash and a capital raise becoming necessary? Reverse split? Nasdaq listing uncertainty? One stock I am looking at down here is Mawson ($MIGI). Horrible chart. A 1 for 20 Reverse Split done a few weeks ago (imagine how many investors dumped the stock for a tax loss then). Raised capital to maintain their Nasdaq listing (Listing confirmed this week). With over 140 Megawatts of available power and a market cap of less than $15 million, the chances are much greater for a rebound in January than any continued weakness. But, again, do your own due diligence and, at least, monitor the company news feed. There are a few other tickers to look at: $HIT, $SKYX, $LFMD $KOPN Good Luck in 2026

It gave me the following tickers back then. RGTI, SERV, BEEM, KOPN, LTBR, AEHR and LTBR.
Already was in it, took advantage of the dip, and already sold off the higher shares. They could have waited to do the offering after they were already in the 4s, but I guess the exec’s wanted more bang for their buck. At least it now makes sense why they didn’t just wait another couple of weeks. A $3 stock with multiple government contracts for different things is a no brainer. If you like CPSH, look into KOPN too.
