$KOPN was one of the drones names I forgot about. Its gone up a lot since then! Going to add to watchlist to keep an eye on it.
What’s your position on KOPN?
FABC is based in Taiwan and several key production sites, KOPN does not have any facilities there, they shut them down a while ago.
CXAI and KOPN long hold for me
FABC, KOPN and POET are my picks. This tech will truly revolutionary imo
I was an early investor in quantum stocks. I was buying RGTI and QBTS around $1.50-$2.50 p/share. I understand not wanting to buy something that has run up so much, but in my honest opinion, once sentiment shifts in a tech sector, especially with new technology, thy tend to have parabolic run ups. It felt like every other month, I was up another 100% on my quantum positions. I think it just comes down to buying and holding for the long run. That’s how I’m approaching KOPN and FABC. It’s a buy and hold for me
That’s part of it yes. KOPN will be the distributor from what I understand. They have exclusive rights to whatever FABC is producing. KOPN already has a customer base for their current MicroLED systems. I think whatever they saw in FABC must have been promising for them to pour that kind of investment into it.
Haha. Good one! I do see your point and with companies and markets these days I sense we both are correct about $FABC! In 25yrs of trading I’ve only ever had cash accounts. Kind of proud at this point to say I wouldn’t even know how to short a stock. But I do love my 500 share position of $KOPN at $1.88 right about now. ;)
**Title: DD: Stop looking at the Texas real estate. The FABC board tells you exactly what this micro-float actually is.** Everyone is looking at Fabric.AI ($FABC) and wondering why a failed EV/crypto shell suddenly pivoted to AI data center interconnects with Kopin ($KOPN). Some think it's pure vaporware. Others think it's a Texas colocation real estate play because their office is down the street from Dell's HQ. You are all missing the biggest tell on the tape. When you look at the board of directors, you immediately realize you are not looking at a board of semiconductor engineers. You are looking at a highly specialized tactical team of financial engineers, corporate lawyers, and M&A turnaround veterans. Here is exactly who is managing this $7M market cap, 1.44M float shell: * **Sebastian Giordano (The Turnaround Architect):** CEO of Ascentaur LLC. He specializes in C-Level consulting for distressed public companies, capital raising, and M&A. He is the operator who knows exactly how to take a broken asset (the legacy Ayro shell) and completely restructure its capital stack for a new purpose. * **Zvi Joseph (The SEC Shield):** Former Technology Counsel at Hughes Hubbard & Reed and Deputy General Counsel at Amdocs, holding advanced Corporate Governance certifications from Harvard Business School. When you pivot a legacy shell and transition tickers, you need someone with this exact profile to keep the SEC compliance bulletproof so short sellers can't tie you up in frivolous litigation. * **Gregory T. Schiffman (The Capital Custodian):** A CPA with 25+ years of corporate development and M&A experience, including managing global financial operations at Hewlett Packard. He is there to handle complex capital structuring and ensure the shell is pristine for incoming institutional capital. * **Wayne Remell Walker (The Micro-Cap Veteran):** Former Senior Counsel at DuPont and a serial independent director. He has extensive experience navigating the specific structural hurdles, PIPE deals, and compliance realities of small-cap Nasdaq holding companies. **The Takeaway** Men with this level of legacy pedigree (Harvard, HP, DuPont) do not sit on a microscopic $7M shell company board for resume padding. They certainly do not risk their SEC compliance records on micro-cap vaporware. They only step onto a board like this to oversee a highly structured, asymmetric financial event. Kopin didn’t need Fabric.AI for its engineering talent. Kopin already operates DoD-certified cleanrooms and has the physical MicroLED tech to solve the copper thermal bottleneck in AI data centers. What Kopin needed was a clean, low-float financial vehicle to house this specific AI infrastructure IP so they could bring it to market without having to execute a massive, dilutive traditional IPO. Josh Silverman and this exact board of directors provided the M&A, legal, and financial architecture to make that happen. This isn't a startup trying to figure out how to run a business. This is a special operations unit of financial engineers keeping the corporate vehicle perfectly pristine while they wait for the engineers in the cleanroom to hand them the tape-out prototype. They built the shell. Kopin is dropping in the physics. https://preview.redd.it/a7wbarkj9n2h1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d71ff9a89f46435845b1ea775e7857043d05220c
Nah, never... that would \*\*NOT\*\* happen. In fact, that could probably put $KOPN BoD in legal trouble. I think it's the location 😉 Let's let Claude break it down lol... Now this is where your question gets genuinely interesting, and I think you've identified something the Reddit commenter missed entirely. Let me lay it out: # 🏗️ Your Texas Thesis — This Is Actually More Compelling Than the Short Squeeze Theory The Reddit post is intellectually clever on the short squeeze mechanics, but you're right to push back on the core premise. **Kopin's board and CEO would not authorize their SVP to orchestrate a bear trap.** That's not how 40-year-old defense contractors with DoD contracts, institutional investors, and SEC exposure operate. Michael Murray's Q1 2026 earnings call quote makes the corporate intent crystal clear — Kopin's CEO described the [Fabric.AI](http://Fabric.AI) collaboration as "a transformational milestone that extends Kopin's MicroLED and NeuralDisplay capabilities into one of the fastest-growing segments of the technology market," backed by a $15 million development order and a 19.9% equity stake. That's a CEO talking to institutional shareholders on a public earnings call — not short squeeze language. Now look at where FABC's facility actually sits: # 📍 Round Rock, TX — FABC's Address Is Dead Center of the AI Infrastructure Explosion Fabric.AI's registered address is 900 East Old Settlers Boulevard, Suite 100, Round Rock, TX 78664. Now look at what's happening right around that address: * Skybox Datacenters is planning a new data center facility on vacant land east of N.A.W. Grimes Boulevard and **south of E. Old Settlers Boulevard** — Round Rock already has two data centers built as of December 2025, with Switch constructing another at 300 Dell Way. That's not a coincidence of geography — Skybox's planned facility is literally on the same road as FABC's building. Zooming out to the broader corridor: Williamson County — where Round Rock sits — is at the center of one of the most significant data center buildouts in the United States. The Austin–San Antonio data center corridor now has 7,823 megawatts of planned capacity compared to just 1,154 megawatts currently operating, with more than 70 projects tracked between Temple and San Antonio. Of the 615 megawatts under construction in the corridor, 96 percent is already pre-leased. Samsung's $17 billion semiconductor plant expansion in Taylor, Texas — just 30 miles from Round Rock — projects a 2026 completion date. Apple is expanding its Austin campus with new R&D labs and AI infrastructure as part of a $1 billion total investment. SpaceX expanded its Bastrop semiconductor R&D and advanced packaging site in 2025. And nationally: nearly 20 data center projects are underway or planned in the Austin area alone, with $500 billion in data center investments projected in 2026 and an estimated $3 trillion by 2028. # 🔌 Why Location Actually Matters for Neural I/o This is the piece that ties it together. Kopin's Neural I/o chip is designed to replace copper wiring between GPUs inside AI data centers. The product's entire value proposition is proximity — optical interconnects have to be **inside** or **immediately adjacent to** the data centers they serve for testing, integration, and deployment. If you're trying to sell MicroLED optical interconnects to hyperscale AI data center builders, being embedded in the fastest-growing AI infrastructure corridor in the country — surrounded by Switch, Skybox, Samsung, Apple, and dozens of others — is a legitimate strategic asset. Not the building itself, but the **address, the relationships, the proximity to customers, and the business development footprint.** FABC has paused its EV operations and is "evaluating strategic alternatives for those assets." That 24,000 sq ft facility on Old Settlers Blvd could potentially be repurposed as a demo/integration lab, testing facility, or customer-facing showroom for Neural I/o — not a cleanroom fab, but a place to demonstrate the chip working inside actual AI server rack configurations to data center buyers who are literally being built next door. # ⚖️ Reconciling the Two Theories |Reddit Short Squeeze Theory|Your Texas Geography Theory| |:-|:-| |Requires Kopin BoD to knowingly participate in market manipulation|Requires Kopin to make a rational strategic real-estate/proximity bet| |Silverman engineers the trap|Kopin uses Silverman's listed shell as a Texas beachhead| |Value = trapped shorts|Value = proximity to $7,800 MW of incoming AI data center demand| |Maffucci is the bait|Maffucci is the operator building customer relationships on-site| |High legal/regulatory risk for Kopin|Normal corporate expansion behavior| Your instinct is more consistent with how institutional companies actually behave. Kopin gets: $15M paid development, an equity stake, a Nasdaq-listed Texas-based commercial entity with an address embedded in the nation's hottest AI corridor, and an operator (Maffucci) who knows the tech cold and can work the room with Samsung, Switch, and hyperscalers all building within miles of that Old Settlers Blvd address. The short squeeze may happen as a side effect — but it's almost certainly not the reason Kopin's board signed off. *Not financial advice.*
Here is exactly what you and Claude missed in your deep dive: you are looking for physical assets when you should be looking at the digital architecture and the Wall Street plumbing. It makes perfect sense when you understand the physics of the interconnect and the mechanics of a CUSIP trap. **1. The Physics (Why KOPN needs FABC)** You are right that Kopin has the world-class cleanrooms and the physical MicroLED tech. But Kopin is a materials science company. They build military displays. To use that light as an information conduit for an AI data center, you need a hyper-complex digital brain (Verilog/HDL architecture) to route terabytes of data with zero latency. Kopin doesn't write AI data center interconnect code. Fabric.AI does. KOPN is the physical muscle; FABC is the digital brain. That is why Maffucci is there. FABC’s "asset" isn’t an old EV factory or real estate; it’s the silicon logic architecture. **2. The Shell with a Purpose (Why SBLX/Ayro)** You are completely right about its history. FABC is absolutely a shell, but it is a shell with a highly engineered purpose. Silverman didn't accidentally buy a failed EV/crypto ticker. He bought a massively shorted, beaten-down micro-cap to trigger a deliberate bear trap. **3. The Micro-Float Squeeze** This is why the legacy is an amazing opportunity. By taking over SBLX, executing a reverse split, and changing the ticker to FABC, they forced a CUSIP number change. This traps all the legacy naked shorts and FTDs who were betting against the old crypto/EV business. They are now locked in a **1.46 million share tradable float** with virtually zero sell-side liquidity. The shorts literally cannot borrow enough shares to artificially drop the price to cover. They took an empty shell, weaponized its short interest, and bolted it onto a legitimate Kopin hardware catalyst. That is exactly what they are pursuing.
Would appreciate anyone else doing some DD. I think for me is figuring out the exact location of $FABC and location proximity to any $KOPN assets, or even maybe $FABC proximity to other tech hubs? I think they are in Texas and I wonder if they are near the Austin tech hub where the Elon fleet of businesses are all headquartered and growing massively!
Thanks very much for sharing. This is exactly what I was looking for. Very helpful to hear KOPN’s perspective.
Thank you. This is insightful. Same here. I am puzzled by what KOPN gets out of this deal. I will look into assets FBAC has.
From one of the most recent interviews with the CEO of KOPN: “The first question I always get is “Why Fabric?”. We’ve been working on bi-directional displays for over two years - we’ve actually invented it. We also have in production today, flying in an aircraft - which I can’t talk about - MicroLED which is capable of 6 million nits of brightness. If you take these two concepts and merge them together, it becomes an optical transceiver capable of transmitting data at 1.6 TB/s. When I looked at my board and we discussed investing at least 30-40 million dollars of Kopin cash and then another 10-15 million on marketing, it didn’t become evident that this was something I wanted to spend cash on. So instead, I worked with my investors and we said let’s create a new vehicle, a new company, that’s called Fabric.AI. We put in a new management team that knows how to sell to hyperscalers. Kopin does not know how to do that - we don’t have the staff for it, we didn’t have the experience for it, and we don’t have the SG&A to do it today, so let’s give that to Fabric.AI. Kopin will own 19.9% - after dilution***** - not now - they’ve got enough cash for now. What Kopin gets is: An order for 15 million dollars to prove the concept this year. An order next year to take it to production - so this thing is coming and it’s coming next year. And then the semiconductor companies, the Big Five - Nvdia, AMD, Intel, Samsung and Micron (Technologies) - we’ll work with those companies because we need to know the interfaces that they’re operating with. Take Nvdia’s open architecture - we’re working to understand that and adopt that in our technology. And we’ve already signed two very specific NDAs for this technology with two of the Big Five.” More in the Kopin sub.
Also I just wanted to mention that KOPN already produces a MicroLED system. They are aiming to have the prototype for FABC finished before the end of the year. They’re planning to have a marketable product before the end of 2027. Also KOPN is the only American MicroLED manufacturer. No one else is producing these domestically except for them. They also have heavy government investments for this tech as well.

OP… Bill Maffucci is the SVP from $KOPN heading up $FABC. Claude and I did a deep dive and asset wise there isn’t anything $FABC offers $KOPN. $FABC is a failed (cough cough pivot) EV business called Ayro Electric Vehicles. Then they pivoted to $SBLX, did the crypto treasury, rode that wave and lost. I played $SBLX and lost as they constantly diluted to “buy crypto”. Great…$KOPN has the world class clean facility to make these MicroLEDs, the factory that $FABC is old, not usable for a micro LED line…so what is it they are pursuing? I suspect $FABC factory and land is close to something that $KOPN needs…otherwise why would the BoD of $KOPN knowingly appoint a top and trusted SVP to go run $FABC? I’m a fairy smart guy…and this shit does not make sense. I like photonics a lot as of lately. KOPN, FABC and POET
If you don't mind me asking, why do you own FABC on top of KOPN? Also, what's your view on why KOPN wouldn't develop themselves instead of partnering with FABC? Didn't someone from KOPN moved to FABC to head this up? Just wondering why they are doing it in such a structure? Maybe a pure play? I only own FABC.
I'm long and bullish on KOPN. I own some FABC also at $4. It is volatile AF. A swing trader could do well if he's paying attention.
Yeah KOPN a good one but not a penny any more.
I’d recommend $KOPN but seems like you’re familiar with it if you listed $FABC?
Great DD! Long KOPN with my 350 shares
Didn't get to play too much today as I was pretty busy at work. Flipped KOPN for a quick profit this morning, grabbed 20 shares of the AIAI ipo launch at noon and am up 26% right now. Holding a small amount of FFAI for the earnings call tonight and some HAO to try and flip in the overnight session. What's everyone looking at for AH?
Any hope for KOPN bouncing back up. I am not in a rush, but like green. My avg is 5.6!
Should have just stayed offline today. Sold KDK in PM, now up 6% Bought KOPN -11% and DRAM -8% FML
Yall fucking slept on KOPN. I called ot numerous times. THANK YOU!
KOPN halted. Holy fuck. My calls are gonna PRINT
KOPN seeing some nice movement with ER call going on.
Welp, if KOPN didn't dip yesterday i would've held.
Gonna load up on more calls i think. As well as DRAM/MRAM/KOPN.
$CAPS is a better stock than $KOPN on paper by far…
I hope this week is another big week for Intc. Gonna dip my toes into DRAM after seeing all the posts here. And not sure if im gonna grab any NVDA. KOPN 6c and thinking OKLO 80c.
Yeah it has been good to me last 2 weeks. Have sone 230c for this week. I need INTC/QCOM to be big this week. Not sure what other play ill make. I think im gonna join the DRAM hype and also KOPN calls
Alright. Calls or puts for following HIMS KOPN OKLO NBIS
I might have to get some DRAM. Depending on how this week goes with INTC...I might exercise some or all of my 5 INTC 110c contracts. Idk. But might play KOPN/OKLO/CRCL earnings. Idk
KOPN calls?, WSB not talking about it but X talking it means don't inverse. EOSE put, could be funny if they miss for 4th time in a row because CEO overpromise. AMAT looks like no brainer for calls NBIS calls, surprise another hyperscaler wanted in
Just bet on $KOPN, $SIVE, $GCTS, $OCC, $ATOM, $LWLG, $ENSI, $FTC, $IQE.
Chickened out and sold my shares bought at $3.97 @ 4.27 during the pullback on Friday. Will kick myself forever. Still in on KOPN tho. Both are winners.
Considering KOPN/OKLO calls. Any insights or anyone else got more solid plays for options they're playing this week?
I bought some KOPN in the premarket. Glad I did
Hope y’all tailed me on KOPN, FABC also climbing back
Got me coping hard not getting in on KOPN earlier
This is my main concern with FABC. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt because KOPN is a reputable company so I’m not sure why they would partner with them. Perhaps they are using them as some sort of shell company.
RXT announced a deal with AMD this morning. Also KOPN might be worth looking at.
hey, i traded mvis for a year and i know what you mean when you say that. but hear me loud and clear. it’s NOT. KOPN is going up over the next 3 years. i’d wait for a good exit on MVIS and put that money in kopn
FABC and KOPN the best stack
FABC rocking. KOPN next maybe, from news I posted earlier.

Thinking of entering KOPN, anyone in it?
Let's actually work together by posting more info on our callouts. This will help filter out the bots. The more details the better. Here's the example format: Stock: KOPN 1 Day Movement: +1.5% Volume: 20.5M Float: 152M News (how recent): 12 hours ago Entry: 4.50 VWAM: ✅ EMA: ✅ I'll post this as a daily reminder in the lounges and hopefully we can all build a habit when we post our callouts. I think it'll help out a lot. I'll be posting in this format moving forward.
I held the stock since $2… never thought it would randomly hit $16. I sold when the bad news came out but it was dropping so fast my sell price was $9, obviously wish I sold at $16 lol. Idk if I’ll buy it back again because of what happened I’m hoping KOPN is my money maker now
Told y’all about KOPN. They just got a 21 million dollar order and the crazy thing is it’s still not too late to buy
I bought $INDI today because it has photonic products. I also bought $KOPN yesterday and today - £45K. Suddenly it announced another $21.9 million follow-on contract! Up 8.28%
$KOPN $INDI $SIVE $FTC- space supplier $OCC
KOPN and FABC on a tear..
$FABC - new AI company - extremely low float - High SI - 20% stake from $KOPN. No brainer at these prices. easy 10x
# FTC — First Trust Large Cap Growth AlphaDEX Fund * **What it does**: This is an **ETF** (exchange-traded fund), not an operating company. It tracks an index of large-cap growth stocks selected via a proprietary "AlphaDEX" methodology for potential outperformance (positive alpha/risk-adjusted returns) relative to traditional benchmarks. It invests in NASDAQ-listed large-cap growth names. * **What's moving it**: Broad market sentiment, especially large-cap growth/tech performance (e.g., influenced by rates, AI/tech earnings, rotation). Recent performance has been solid YTD but tracks general equity markets with lower volatility than individual small-caps. Small daily moves typical for an ETF. # SIVE — Sivers Semiconductors AB (publ) (NASDAQ Stockholm: SIVE; OTC: SIVEF) * **What it does**: Semiconductor company developing and selling chips, components, modules, and subsystems. It operates in **Wireless** (e.g., 5G mmWave RFICs, beamformers for networks, radar, SATCOM) and **Photonics** (III-V compound semiconductor lasers for optical communication, AI data centers, sensing/LiDAR). Key focus on high-performance, energy-efficient solutions for AI optics, telecom, and defense. * **What's moving it**: Strong momentum tied to **AI data center optics** and photonics boom. Recent catalysts include partnerships (e.g., Jabil for LRO modules), commercialization progress, NASDAQ listing plans via share raise, and hype around its role in AI infrastructure (lasers for high-speed optical links). The stock has seen massive volatility and gains (e.g., sharp multi-day surges) on volume, with AI/supply chain narratives driving retail/institutional interest. # QE — IQE plc (London: IQE) * **What it does**: Global supplier of advanced **compound semiconductor wafer** products and materials. Segments include Wireless (RF for comms/handsets), Photonics (lasers/sensors for light transmission/detection), and CMOS++ (hybrid silicon-compound tech). Used in wireless, AI/data centers, defense, sensing, and more. * **What's moving it**: Recent **capital raise** (strategic partner investment, placing, retail offer) for growth/strategic review. Demand drivers include defense, AI, data centers, and handsets. Positive updates on earnings potential and sector tailwinds (compound semis for next-gen tech), though dilution from raises can pressure price short-term. Volatile small-cap with big swings on funding/news. # KOPN — Kopin Corporation (NASDAQ: KOPN) * **What it does**: Develops and sells **microdisplays**, optics, subassemblies, and related components (AMLCD, LCOS, OLED, emerging MicroLED). Applications in defense (e.g., helmet-mounted displays, weapon sights, drone goggles), enterprise/industrial headsets, medical, training/simulation, and consumer AR/VR wearables. Expanding into AI infrastructure with optical interconnects. * **What's moving it**: High volatility on **AI + defense catalysts**. Recent drivers include a $15M development order/collaboration with [Fabric.AI](http://Fabric.AI) for MicroLED-based optical interconnects (addressing AI data center power/bandwidth bottlenecks), $3.2M+ contract for FPV drone goggles (new market entry), analyst upgrades/reinstatements (Buy ratings, higher targets), and broader defense orders. Strong volume and price runs (new highs) on these news flows; classic small-cap story stock.
$KOPN won a $21M contract
$KOPN- what’s the relevance to data centres? $FTC- will it explode?
Told yall about KOPN Friday 👀
KOPN starting to fly. I think today is the day
