Let me pull the actual Microbot Medical (MBOT) data to check the numbers. Quick verdict: the headline "99% Short Interest" is flat-out wrong. The real number is about **12.5%**. Here's the check against live data (MBOT, as of the 6/26 close): **What's accurate:** - Price $1.77, down 4.32%. Matches. - Short interest of 7,640,438 shares. That's the NASDAQ-reported figure and it looks legit. - Days-to-cover 9.21. Roughly checks out: 7.64M short shares divided by the ~823K two-week average volume is ~9.3 days. Consistent. **What's wrong:** - "99% short interest" appears nowhere in the data shown and isn't close to reality. Short interest as a percent is short shares divided by float (or shares outstanding). MBOT has ~61M float and ~67M shares outstanding. So: - 7.64M / 61M float = **12.5% of float** - 7.64M / 67M shares out = **11.4% of shares outstanding** To actually have 99% short interest, you'd need ~60M shares sold short, not 7.6M. Off by roughly 8x. **Where the "99%" likely comes from:** classic conflation of *short volume* with *short interest*. The screenshot itself shows "Off-Exchange Short Volume 55.86%," which is the share of one day's dark-pool volume that printed short. That's a daily flow metric that routinely runs 40 to 60%+ on almost any stock, because it includes market-maker hedging that nets back out by the close. It has nothing to do with how much of the float is actually held short. Someone either misread one of those volume fields, pulled "99%" from a daily short-volume spike on a low-volume day, or just made it up for the squeeze hype. r/smallstreetbets does this constantly. **Honest takeaway:** 12.5% of float short with ~9 days to cover is *elevated but ordinary* for a small-cap biotech. It's "moderately shorted," not a coiled 99% squeeze. The genuinely notable thing here isn't the short interest, it's that this is a $119M-market-cap, pre-revenue, money-losing (negative P/E) microcap down ~62% from its 52-week high. The short thesis is probably just "it's a cash-burning clinical-stage name," and the squeeze framing is doing a lot of work that the actual data doesn't support.

MBOT has to be a sophisticated pump by some kind of group. All the comments and posts about 99% SI which can be easily debunked by a simple google search of the float.

Holy shit. Good call. I'm still mad at myself. I had 15k worth of calls from like November 24 until like March 25. Was up and down between $80 - $110 the whole time. I got frustrated and sold and didn't buy back even when they were in the low 60's. I told myself "buy 40k worth of shares, sell half when it doubles, then let the rest ride for a couple of years." Talked myself out of that too and bought MBOT instead. MU makes me sad every time I see the symbol now.

I have a fear with RCKT bc my friend invested in this stock last year when patient died in trials and the stock fell pretty hard after that. My friend stills hold the stock though waiting for the pump up in price. I feel that I have overextended my portfolio with biotech related stuff (DRTS, IMRX, MBOT, MDAI). Yesterday I added 100 shares to DRTS, DDD, NB, CTM, PDYN, MBOT and Kopin (Ondas and UMAC bought Kopin shares with 2.10 price last September for long-term potential, my average is 2.22 and sitting with 300+ shares, earnings coming up in a week or two) I also bought 200 shares of Canadian Uranium mining company Denison Mines which is under 4$ right now, should be a good entry price but there seems to be a dilution fear with it right now)

I actually changed my mind yesterday and sold all my LifeMD stock for the time being for 40% profit and decided to move that money to MBOT (bought 213 shares, it has 2 catalysts coming up in 1 month time and don't want to pay premium for the stock later, it has already FDA approval and it probably has a dilution also coming up during a year but it seemed like a good idea for me to get it at 2.79 price before it rallies further) and the rest to IMRX (currently have 246 shares of it at 5.56). I added LifeMD stock to my watchlist for the time being and buy in again. Now we both have to root for the price drop and shorters to short it in the meantime lol

LWLG had a blow off last night. Curious to see how much of a run it can sustain. MBOT has been steadily climbing and building momentum. CDXS reported a profitable quarter and EPS .15 higher than estimates with decent guidance for the year. CDXS is a biotech company that synthesizes proteins using proprietary technology. Stock is trading $1 off last October levels and $1.5 off its 52 week high. They are building a new facility so I don’t think the profitability continues all year but near term I see them making most of that back. LWLG is a data center play that just signed a partnership with TSEM. They have a proprietary polymer they claim transmits data faster and uses less energy. MBOT is my favorite. They make robot spiders that crawl up your butt and save your life and stuff.

Microbot medical MBOT! Currently 2.55 but should be easily over 5.00 end of May. FDA approved remote peripheral endovascular robotic surgery Liberty system currently in a limited market launch. Emory hospital has already announced adoption of the liberty system. Full commercialization is in April. This could be massive!!!! Over 2.5 million procedures annually in the USA!

I’m very bullish on $MBOT (Microbot Medical). The recent hospital news shows that their technology is gaining real-world traction. If this platform proves itself in clinical settings, it could be truly revolutionary for the future of minimally invasive surgery.

As a major investor in MBOT I welcome this announcement, but I think the folks that expect the stock to "quadruple" need a shot of reality. 1) This is simply a joint press-release - one might call it a self-promotion, 2) the main message from Tampa General is that they believe in the future of robotics. This could, and probably does, simply translate to the hospital agreed to accept a few free machines and test them. Again, this is good news, one of the necessary steps for MBOT to grow, but nothing more material than that. As I outlined on a previous post there are several competitors to MBOT that have various approaches, Microbot going after the very low-end endovascular procedures by having a very simple, low-cost machine and not having haptic feedback and also no integrated systems like monitoring or gas control. Although this is a fraction of the TAM, the SAM is huge and they appear to be the leader in this segment. They need a successful launch in April followed by real sales. Given all that - if they do quadruple anytime soon all of my following posts will be from the beach.

Mentions:#MBOT
r/pennystocksSee Comment

That’s a fair question. As of now, MBOT has been positioning itself for full commercial rollout following FDA clearance, and recent hospital adoptions (like Tampa General) suggest forward progress rather than distress. However, as with most pre revenue or early commercial med tech companies, dilution is always a possibility if additional capital is needed to scale manufacturing, expand sales infrastructure, or accelerate adoption. A reverse split typically only becomes a concern if a company risks falling out of compliance with exchange listing requirements and there’s no indication of that at the moment. Ultimately, whether current share structure and cash are sufficient depends on how quickly revenue ramps post launch. If adoption accelerates and revenues follow, dilution risk decreases. If rollout takes longer than expected, capital raises are common in this stage of growth. Scaling phase = execution risk, but recent momentum is encouraging.

I would recommend looking into Microbot Medical MBOT. FDA approval last December, limited release right now, scheduled full market launch in April. They have the Liberty system a remote robotic single use system, for peripheral endovascular surgeries. Emory University has already announced they will be adopting this system at their medical facilities. This is not a get rich over night stock, in my opinion it has huge potential in the short term if they can scale production as needed. There are currently over 2.5 million procedures this system could be used for annually in the USA. Not financial advice, best of luck everyone!

Been watching MBOT for a while and bought in at 4.9 and sold for a loss on the way down. Bought back in today as I have belief in the long term outlook. Company messaging and scaling up is bang on. Just a matter of time now.....

This is actually a legitimate technology that was tested by some of the best hospitals in the world. I have been following MBOT for ~10 months, largely because I narrowly avoided a complicated cardiovascular procedure from bloodclot complications. I'm healthy compared to the cardiovascular disaster that is the future of the USA. I don't think anybody knows how to value the Liberty system's future. I'm in for

ACHR. RR. MBOT. HIVE all undervalued and overlooked.

IGC, ADIL for possible commiceralization of their products this year. DFLI, and BLNK with the rise of EV; and a Impending EV mandate. MBOT, FEMY since they start commercialization; bd started pursuing profits. ONL as it should be mostly underway with its assest reassessment which should generate more income abroad. GGB for a long term hold towards rebuilding efforts with Venezuela, and possibly Ukraine if the north american or South america segments decide to export to them (but still probably unlikely atleast from the north american segment with tarrifs). PLBY for retail hype, aswell as possible expanding into profitability going into 2026.

I will look into everything you post if I can figure out how to follow you. If you have time please look into Microbot Medical MBOT. I believe this could go up over 400percent by end of May 2026. Just curious on your thoughts, not interested in pumping anything.

When I saw it being stuck at 2.69 a week prior to approval, I knew it was already priced in. The hype definitely has something to do with it as well. Reminds me of MBOT

MBOT gained 23% on the day it was approved. Gave it all back in two days that is true. Biggest difference though is that MBOTs approval was for a robotic surgery medical device. Much lower margins and market size vs a pharmaceutical.

Your right no penny stock comes without a risk, however if your concerned with my picks I cant give you a list. MBOT (accumulating for possible profitability next year goal being 4$+) PLBY, My retail pick that broke profitability (found at .89 selling 3$×+) BTLCY, for a reliable and stable REIT with plenty of cash on hand; and prime tenants (found at 4.55 selling 5.10+) DFLI (found at .25, selling 2$+ innovated EV batteries for larger vehicles; and was recognized by both the trucking and battwry community for its innovations with their products) FEMY (found at .75, selling 1.10$+ Innvated Feminine OBGYN care currently going without much contesting in their market since IVF fell) ONL (found 2.10, selling 2.40 REIT thats pays divedends that has a ceo thats a natural to flipping REIT companies; and was confident out valuing a buy out offer they recently turned down) IVDA a data center in arizona thats the easiest of the states data centers to be put on the market (found at .65 selling 1.10$+) Less then 10$, but not penny stocks Nokia (Divdend paying services company. riding out till end of its billion dollar nivida contract in 2026. Found 5.50) Adt (dividend paying serives company. riding out till end of google contract in 2026. Found at 8.15) Overall a services company being out of debt with high institutional/ceo ownership, doesn't mean they have a for sure way to secure profits.

I bought in to $MBOT. At the very least this $2 stock should quadruple in the next year or two as more hospitals adopt their system.

if you're looking for penny stocks with value and which are constantly returning value, look into QIMC, MBOT, LITM. remember, penny stocks are not going to be 'safe' but when you catch the right one at the right position, well, that's your entire target for the year. these aren't the slow/steady type.
