Hate to break it to you but serial dilution and then flat or down price for years with a sudden gap up is one of the most repeatable setups in biotech. You must be new to the space. As mentioned multiple times, it happens because companies fund operations via equity raises until some catalyst resets the valuation, plain and simple. Many 10x-20x biotechs have done the same and the same "investors" complained and sold. Here are just a few tickers of many that mirror this behavior to help you understand the game: NVAX $4 to $300+ CLDX $2 to $40 CLDI $.20 to $19 AGEN $1 to $7 Daily price is meaningless.

To put it simply, Writers have time on their side, and I am able to collect premiums as profit. Buyers on the other hand, I'm hoping that it increases in value by gaining favorably ITM. Should the option go ITM, my loss are slightly cut (Strike - Premium = Break Even) Where as the buyer does not have any protection, when it expires worthless, you lose everything. If exercised ((AS LONG AS) they don't do another r/S 15-1 (Thank you AMC, and THANK YOU NVAX) to where my 1500 shares becomes 75,) then I am able to write CALLS on the same price and potentially gain the money back (or, reduce my average costs to effectively zero) which is how I exited AMC from a 99.97% loss to 0
Just in case you are interested, I also had 1900 shares of NVAX at around 4 dollars that I sold at a 1000 dollar loss a year before Covid hit.

The start of Covid… I first heard of it in China before it even hit the US. I started looking for the companies who manufactured vaccines that were cheap. I found NVAX. I had 3,000 shares at an average of around 9$. My friend talked me out of it since I was young, like 24 at the time and it was a huge % of my portfolio. Sold around 12$. Thought I was so smart. Fast forward like 3-4 months it was over 100$ a share and topped around $300. Not sure if I would’ve held long enough to be close to a millionaire but I for sure cost myself hundreds of thousands. The friend who told me not to do it is still my best friend, and I’ve had ups and downs in the market since. Up big on some plays, down big on others. NVAX is still my white whale.

I been prospering heavily from UNH getting in at 280 , buying shares and bought some calls at 320 , also TQQQ bought shares back at 90 and been selling OOM calls at 95 strike. Also bought NVAX back at 7.30 and ran it up to 8.04 sold some and then sold some calls on the excess. This is a money making market right now, and my entire portfolio is up 8% since middle of last week. Cant be angry about anything right now. I will be curious to see if the fed cut the rate . Half percent, 1/4 percent.. who knows.. but the market seems to think there will be some kind of cut.
