Looks like things are about to get a lot quieter at OpenAI. With 500 employees threatening to walk out, it's starting to feel more like OpenAl-qaida. In talks with Clean Bay. A deal similar to OPAL and LFG. The target is lower quality but valued at 660M or so
DMS up 20% wow should have averaged down well small position at 1.14 so no worries. Everytime OPAL hits 6.5 it goes to 8+ on high volume. Buyout incoming??? Had good earnings with eps beat and revenue miss. Have a lot of WIP this year and next. SoFi GENI STEM PSNY 🚀. Missed low float ⛽ cannot dwell on it much

Something fishy going on with OPAL... Few days ago volume was 10 times avg. Now only 20k. LFG was bought and OPAL is lowish float so won't be surprised.
That one and OPAL are two I’ve watched that have always traded on extremely low volume. It’s like they’re too good to get the classic despac tank treatment, but not noteworthy enough to attract any buyers.

$HPK is one that de-SPAC'ed in 2020 and still at $27. $MP isn't oil/gas but is in the same ballpark of commodities. $VGAS and $SMR were energy de-SPACs too and holding above $10. I will say there are some energy picks that are under $10 too so it's not a fool-proof kind of thing ($OPAL, $SKYH, $AMPS, etc...)

Every time OPAL fuels drops so hard it goes back over 9. Anyone following why it dumped to 6???? I am tempted to play here. LFGs brother in terms of what it does
Lfg news lifted OPAL from 6 to 10+. Wow three times OPAL dropped to 6-7 and recovered strongly. Though one recovery was short lived lowish volume
As a pure gas play OPAL produces about 1/3 of what LFG is, and has significantly less rights to grow that segment last I’d checked. For OPAL you probably have to believe in the fuel station aspect even at the reduced price.
Anyone looking at OPAL at 6.50, small potatoes only as volume is not there. Both as a low float and long term? This was thought of as a very good deal similar to LFG?
OPAL trades so thin. It's at 7.71. it should in theory be bullish over next 2 years.
Exited OPAL debating exit on skin. 10% gains is shit as it will do well. Hoping for earnings bump to at least 13.5. break even on SLCR. Thinking of exit and reentry around 7. Who knows only 2 days left

You are right that they have many positions. Now that you bring it up - it could be they owned GETY as an arb only. I can't make out. Thanks for bringing that up. The stuff around the OPAL FPA and ESSC still stand. It is possible they there are very favorable terms to the FPA, and that is why they took it. It is also possible they saw the possibility to legitimately own nearly the entire free float of a company - at a time small floats have making news for bagging so hard - and they took it on that basis. I am not claiming knowledge / certainty I don't have. It seems like an interesting possibility though.
FRGE is up 42% OPAL daily volume is 3500. Can't decide on what to do. FRGE is good for puts??

ACTD/OPAL volume for today is 6000 lol. I am very confused if I should get a starter position here. If it's a low float dump then this can go much lower. Out of NRGV 5p for 82 bucks bought at 55ish. This is my third trip on NRGV puts 😃. Odd that interest for FRGE puts is so low.
