Good come up! Try not to mess around and lose it now. This is the time when you put it all into a few different sector etf's and live off the dividends for the rest of your life. 100k into PLTY will give you a WEEKLY return that should suffice for most of life's necessities and the quarterly and monthly dividends from others like SCHD or a fallen angel etf will be like bonuses.
More PLTY. I'm at 925 shares and just got a WEEKLY dividend disbursement of $364. I made sure DRIP was still enabled and when NFLX pops again during market hours I'm setting a trailing stop order and using that $ to buy more PLTY. I'm getting laid off next Fri-yay so I'll turn off DRIP and use the dividend as income while I'm out of work.
CRCL, GLXY, CRWV, OKLO, and NBIS good eveything else id dump. Maybe add RKLB ASTS. Gamble plays PLTY OPEN RIVN RCAT and BBAI.
I can borrow $60K at 5.05% interest ($3k interest payment a month (Robinhood margin call). I want to buy Yield Max-PLTY at $57.99 a share = 1,034.11 shares. Consistently paying over a dollar a share. Weekly payouts $1000-1200+ (month $4K-4,800). Would this be a good investment?
Buy some PLTY and LFGY
I'm talking about PLTY, not PLTR - try reading posts before replying with nonsense.
Thnx for the link! Just got PLTY for a 6% discount today - wouldn't have bought it if you hadn't posted that link and probably would have missed the chance to get in cheap.
Let me guess you lost on AYTR Too. I thought I placed a conservative CSP’s and lost. Name of them game I guess when it comes to pharma. Still going to do CSP and ETF’s. Like me was better off with YM PLTY.
You might consider a bit of DIY dividend portfolio investing, though that takes a bit of homework and is something of a project. But basically, long-term diversification is all... I’d de-risk and put your winnings into the best 3 YieldMax covered call funds (ULTY, FBY, PLTY) and collect the cash dividends… maybe play a few options with that income stream… you can also defend your downside with a couple of puts if the market has a pull back…

PLTY HIMZ as soon as I can buy tomorrow
PLTY paid $7 a share last time
I already have 10 calls July 18th expiry. Even if it does good it won’t take me back to 150k I don’t think. My dumbass should have just invested the 150k into PLTY and live off dividends of 5-10k a month for the rest of my time. FML.
anybody else noticing the rise of what appears to be a mix of bot accounts/AI accounts/people that appear to be paid off for what they’re saying pushing YieldMax option-income ETF’s on Tiktok? I’ve never even looked up stocks/financials on tiktok and have never looked any of these etf’s up on other platforms specifically but about every 4th or 5th post on my for-you page is someone shilling PLTY, TSLY, MSTY, or some combination of the 3 as dividend income juggernauts with zero downside that you should be pouring however many dollars you can physically spare into right now

PTIR exists for brokies by the way. In 8months it went from $42 to $317. Also options just stop buying calls that expire in a week. If you have conviction on the stock why not use leverage? You're gonna blow your account up anyways might as well try to make more money. Also PLTY exists for those scared of options(but on wall st bets)
You might consider a bit of DIY dividend portfolio investing to diversify a bit (if you feel like it). Yes, the rent would be around 16-25k for the year with 12k expected expenses, 1k each month (I don’t live lavish, I spend even way less since I’m with my parents) I just got back from a trip from there and enjoyed it so much I was supposed to originally stay for 6 days ended up rebooking my ticket and stayed 11. Most my friends moved out here too anyways. The rest I plan to keep invested (not options, or anything risky, just stock) stock mainly PLTR and the dividend etf PLTY. The reason I say PLTR is because I followed it since IPO but never invested since I was always broke, not just because I made most of my money on it, I do believe in it as a company with exponential to grow. PLTY paid $7 a share last dividend date so I could earn 5k a month even if I didn’t put all into it. I recognize how fortunate I am to have what I have and to have it at the age I am and I wish to continue growing it. But most my friends have already lived alone for years and I believe that 1 year period that I plan on being away would be excellent for my growth as a person.
What do you think about YieldMax PLTY?
Thoughts on PLTY versus PLTW? MSTY was my first Yield Max purchase. Moved from SGOV to MSTY prior to ex-dividend date. Now on to PLTY, then back to SGOV. Might move only between SGOV and PLTY next month.
There is PLTY that pays regarded dividends
Just throw money in MSTY and PLTY and NFLY then just sit back and collect no stress
Won't touch Palantir due those exact reasons & that's the example of our times right now. Especially if you like playing the YM (PLTY) fund on top. I don't care how much people are making off it now or if it dips from its current overvaluation. Some things are just not worth selling your soul. Rather just put it in VOO & chill and stick with the NVDA/NVDY group that week. There are ALWAYS options, and past doesn't indicate future performance, so I don't see any need to force funds until anything I don't 110% believe in.

[https://www.reddit.com/r/dividendfarmer/comments/1l0oq8v/yieldmax\_yield\_chaser\_special\_5302025\_an\_analysis/](https://www.reddit.com/r/dividendfarmer/comments/1l0oq8v/yieldmax_yield_chaser_special_5302025_an_analysis/) I.e. with $100k in something like MSTY ($22.19/share) that would give you 4506 shares. The most recent dividend payment there was $1.4707 meaning you would have received a payment of 6,626.9742 -- on this Friday. PLTY is similar. NAV erosion is a big risk, but some of the YieldMax products are exciting -- and actually pay you something every month. As for options as the saying goes "options are a taking game." Good luck!
If you don't want to sell covered calls yourself, you could sell 100 shares and drop that into PLTY. You could get some NAV appreciation, but even if it remains flat you'll generate income to invest elsewhere.
Love this, thanks for the encouragement. I bought 500 shares of MSTY on Tuesday or Wed. It's not looking good right now. I also bought 150 shares back near the all time lows, $17's but still my cost basis is way higher than current market price. I plan of dumping 20% of our total household net into MSTY, ULTY, CONY, TSLY, PLTY and either YMAX, YBIT. On the dream these preform like they have historically, over the next 3 years. Once I'm playing with house money I won't be so concerned but right now after only 2 months in these funds, it's been so-so, still ahead with the distributions. If things playout ok, even 50% of historical returns I'll be able to work if I want to, and wife will be a homemaker. At the very least, I plan to take a couple of nice international trips with the distributions. This isn't our life's savings, our retirement accounts, or anything like that. But my wife doesn't quite understand it or the amount going into it.
If you don’t mind losing it. But want some cashflow maybe split it among MSTY, NVDY, PLTY. These are high yielding covered call funds. These are risky. But you could pick up a few extra bucks every month.
If you wanna take a big risk, MSTY CONY PLTY PLTW CVNY FIAT and have high yields but can be volatile. Those are all from yieldmax. Could also try JEPI and O. These are all monthly payouts, PLTW is weekly.
ETFs if you would have bought PLTY at its lowest you could have been bringing in $800+ per month steadily.
in 2029 PLTR will be the US government. if you ain't buying leaps, PLTY, and a whole bunch of shares, you will be sent to work the land.
He can make good dividends, ex $8500 into MSTY can get you est $500 per month but DYOR! This is not financial advice. Stay away from options! MSTY PLTY USOY IWMY NVDY SNOY YMAX
I was about to get on PLTY when it started soaring ( from $60 to 80) but I listened to my gut
Just learned of PLTY, does anyone here have any thoughts on it? Debating if it worth investing vs PLTR; don't want to invest in both simultaneously yet
Next million dollar idea: MSTY. My price target is $90-100 per share. Market cap of MSTR is 82B Market cap of PLTR is 253b PLTY share price is 85.54 MSTY share price is 26.73 Wait until MSTR is 200b market cap… it’s coming. Positions: 1700 MSTY share 5 MSTR (LOL) Plus you get all the sweet dividends every month . Literally money printer. That you can then use to buy shares of who must not be named, and others.
MSTY, PLTY, NVDY, MAGY, or just join the YieldMaxETF subreddit for more. Highly detailed analysis sometimes. Retire from regardations.
Something can be a poor investment without being a scam. I see no reason for junk like NVDY and PLTY but they aren't scams.
Yea, it’s one of my favorites hands down. Been in it for a while. I’m in some of the Yieldmax funds too. NVDY would be up your alley since you made your money on Nvidia. They basically take your money, do options with it, then give most of the profits back to you. NVDY, APLY, AMZY, have been great. They have a few dozen tickers to choose from. I believe in PLTR long term, so PLTY would be a recommendation of mine too. FEPI has been very safe and consistent share price meaning if for some reason you have to sell your shares, there’s a good chance it will be near your purchase price versus taking a big loss. Seriously, ignore all the naysayers on here. Your goal is very easy. Hell, you could buy $40k worth of GME and make $3-4k a month selling calls. For how long is the question, but no need for you to do that with your 400k. Research and buy the tickers I mentioned above (not GME) if you like them and then do your thing. If you bring in more than what you need, buy more stock, don’t spend foolishly just because you’re making more than you need. Keep building more income and a cushion in case shit hits the fan.
Took profits a long time ago. All I got is PLTY cookin in my 401k
