PSA--I'm not 100% certain, but I think Lookout Towers and Signature Capital both for investments in high end luxury rentals above the tree line is a scam. I'm happy to edit this if anyone has had a successful investment with them, but I'm posting as a caution. I clicked a link through instagram for an investment through construction and while it was Lookout Tower Funds--the person on the call was from Signature Capital--I still don't understand the exact relationship. Essentially they're offering 30% return for your investment of $50k minimum, into a total $1MM pool. For that amount of money, a hard money loan would be way cheaper than paying you 30%... They only work with accredited investors--no issue there. Since they're offering asset backed securities, I started looking at the SEC site for their notice of offering asset backed securities--none existed. I asked for how or under what entity it may have been filed--I was given a different company name, whose only filings were an acquisition back in 2002. They mention the company has been years of effort--but sounds like they're a few months old. There's a bunch of buildings coming online and they even give you a travel credit based on your investment--and that renews each year. Plus a number of other details--none of which agrees with their posted website. This feels like a whole lot of trust needed on a sales pitch inconsistent with their website, not filed with the SEC and sounds too good to be true. Beware.

Thank you, lol. PSA is a company that determines the level of perfection/condition of the card on a scale of one through 10. It cost $25 per card to send it to them and takes two months to get it back but if it gets a 10 it’s worth a lot more.
Sent it to PSA for grading. If it comes back at 10 it’s worth 2200. I think it’s gonna be at nine cause it has a minor print line on the back but sometimes you get lucky. I will sell it once i get it.

A specificity of 95% means 5/100 tests/patients will be false positives and although is sounds good, it does mean 1/20 patients will have a result that needs to have imaging, further tests etc but it is a decent start. There are clear unmet needs for being able to detect cancer earlier and with test that have high sensitivity (true positive rate) and high specificity (high true negative rate). The problem is sorting the ones that will break out with great clinical utility compared to the ones that are no better than we currently use in practise (or even worse).

Most modern cards aren't worth much. I invest in sealed boxes and older and rarer PSA 10 slabs. Some boxes I bought at $100 are now $600, and some slabs I bought for $500 are now $5000. You gotta know what you're doing, but it's a fairly simple initial learning curve.

Well I've collected most of my life and I know what TCGs always fuck me (MTG and One Piece) so I'll maybe buy a collectors booster pack or two for a new MTG set and grab one BB for a new One Piece set or if I happen to catch a restock whatever I can get within the store's purchasing limit. Since I mainly do graded cards it's more about setting yourself up with singles that have a high chance to grade well which means good quality control, something the Pokemon Company with English releases knows fuck all about and the same with Hasbro to a lesser extent. Bandai Namco games pull 10s from PSA relatively easy due to good quality control and if something is especially good gambling on a Black Label from BGS is possible. I bought a cheap microscope meant for coin collectors on Amazon to check for scratches in the foil or dents in the edging I might miss by the standard eye test.

How are you making it more accesible if you're buying from EU sellers and selling to EU buyers? It sounds like you're just trying to be a trader imo, nothing wrong with that but you should be honest to yourself about what your goal is and how you want to achieve it. I don't think there's such a thing as a PSA graded bulk supplier, and if they exist they know what their cards are worth and won't sell them for less than market price (regardless if they are bulk or not).
