A huge shift to collectibles, notably a partnership with PSA, has helped to transform the business. GME owns 9.8% of Ebay, and is pursuing their business (will take time). They also own 4,710 Bitcoin. I believe they have proven themselves and will continue to do well until GME gets into the S&P 500 and beyond. It's really been a fun ride watching Ryan Cohen and the board save the business, and I am extremely excited for the future.

Diesel first. Then prices will raise on just about everything (as we have already been seeing) due to diesel being such a needed commodity to transport/deliver goods to your local stores. Nevermind the fact most farm equipment is also diesel, which will hurt farmers even more so now, especially with autumn crops just coming up on harvest time. Regular Gas will be next. Soon people won’t be able to afford to drive to work, and if they can/do they’ll have to drive further out and wait in longer lines to get gas as shortages surmount from panic buying/hoarding/lack of deliveries/lack of gas as a whole. **Quick PSA though**: You shouldn’t store/hoard gas. It degrades over a short period of time (losing its combustible nature) and eventually goes bad in a handful of months. You’d basically be ensuring the shortage persists and wouldn’t be helping yourself in any meaningful way as you wouldn’t be able to use it fast enough, while also depriving others of the gasoline they could have used and creating more of a demand. They’ve had a 3 year NHS study with 142k participants. They caught 4x more cancers than standard screening (it is complimentary to current screening not a replacement). In year one stage 4 diagnosis fell 9%, year 2 22%, year 3 26%. There is a massive unmet need for better screening and if you compare false positives and positive predictive value, grail stacks up pretty well compared to current tests that screen for cancer in one organ. Less than 1% test positive and over half of those are diagnosed with cancer, sometimes the tests is so early patients get cleared only to find the tumor later. About 1/200 people gets a false positive. Compare that to PSA or mammography. The test doesn’t have to be perfect, it has to be better than what we have while not being too expensive to the healthcare system. That is what the fda will essentially evaluate. Does it work? Is it safe? (It’s a blood draw). Is it too expensive? Approval doesn’t force insurance coverage or Medicare approval. It paves the pathway though. The NHS study did fail to meet the primary endpoint set by the company. The company wanted to demonstrate a reduction in stage in 3 and 4 cancers. There was a rise in stage 3 diagnoses in the initial year while later years showed reduction in diagnoses. The headline is they missed their primary endpoint due to more stage 3 cancers. A nuanced interpretation makes this test look very good but the company got cut in half on that news. I expect the FDA to recommend approval and continued study. To prove stage shift and mortality data takes many years and approval will slow the data to be collected mature. Remember FDA approval is safety, efficacy, not too burdensome cost wise. The test is $1000. That’s really nothing in healthcare. I paid more out of pocket for polyp removal on a screening colonoscopy

PSA: IPOs in China come with different regulations. The rules are much more strict in order to prevent SpaceX/openAI BS valuation. That‘s why stocks rise rapidly on IPO day. It also looks much better when every IPO shows a rapidly rising chart, imo it‘s going to attract more investors than looking at the abomination that is SpaceX. It‘s different priorities, in the US corruption and lobbyism means corporations have the most influence, so the stock market regulations are optimized to maximize bagholding. In China the government is more important, so they‘re more interested in attracting investments in general, not funnelling them into the most overpriced worst assets available because some lobby paid bribes. That means corpos over there are less competitive, which is not such a bad thing, better than corpos making laws and doing politics, but China obviously has insane other issues that overshadow any reasonable policy they come up with.
