Depends. If it's a new card that went directly from pack to sleeve/toploader there's a good chance that it's a PSA 10. If it's a vintage card odds are quite low

So you’re looking at about $3,000 for a PSA 9 base set Charizard. About $40,000 for PSA 10. It’s highly unlikely any of your cards are PSA 10 even if they’ve been sitting in a binder for years and look great to the naked eye due to quality control back then. You’d need to get a UV light and a jeweler’s loupe to go over your cards. If centering is good and it seems they’d grade at least PSA 8 in their condition, they’re worth sending in.

What card do you have? Typically what happens is you pay for the service only. Once PSA grades your card, the fee you pay them is dependent on the grade it received.

Most brands in QSR have taken a hit already. I think brands like Wendy’s, JITB, etc that are closing 100’s of locations will rebound. By closing underperforming locations and increasing the PSA throughout the system. Most of these locations are overlapped and sales will go to the nearest location.

I have my main portfolio that I will continue to hold, while adding every month. Then I also put some money into PSA (cash stock that pays a monthly dividend)then when the markets go down, I’ll remove some money out of the PSA to add to my positions when the stock goes “on sale”. Usually I buy more when the market goes down by 10 percent, then more at 20 percent, etc.

NFA and IMO. GME has 6 consecutive profitable quarters and made some good moves with PSA re collectables and also Powerpacks for gambling functions surrounding trading cards, which could be expanded upon going forward.Sitting with billions in the bank and having been granted 0% too. Overall, the business is looking better, and if continuing the trend to 2026 and beyond, it could easily surpass 30s next year while currently going around 20-22, which has bounced as the floor multiple times this year. Very interesting history, too.

Why is it that every interaction with police paints them as massive assholes that deserve their place in hell. I crashed into a tree and totaled my car because of black ice on the road. No injuries, wasn't blocking traffic, and no other party involved. I was told by my insurance to call the police. AS my first time, I did it like a dumbass. Have you been selling directly through your own eBay account? I sold other things that way and never really liked the bill that came from eBay at the end of the month (its been a few years, their process probably changed by now). I was considering selling some from my eBay account too, but I didn't realize they took like 30%. But, depending on the value of the card, PSA takes a heft portion too. 40% seems solid though. The rotation seems difficult to try to keep track of, and I was not aware of that. Truth be told, personally, I opened my PSA account a little over a year ago so I could brick my Charizard from when I was a kid. I had a 1st ed in the binder.. I started trading graded cards (fall '24), hoping to make enough money that it covered to brick my Charizard. Well, that 1st ed seemed to have disappeared over the last 25 years.. haha neato. but I kept trading the cards on my PSA account. I still haven't sent a single card to get graded. I've mostly just been dabbling for the heck of it. I buy through eBay, transfer to my vault, then relist through my PSA account. I've only been buying cards at about 1/2 their "usual" value. Pokemon seems to be the easiest sale. In terms of a 30% return, I thought that seemed okay. Though, it is far more work than trading stocks. There is nostalgia and all of that and I am not doing it for the funds. Admittedly, posting this in the stocks sub, I had anticipated just negative feedback, so I do want to thank you for commenting.

standard PSA for anyone trying to trade VIX and its derivative: this is THE single most crowded trade on Wall street. Unless you know what you are doing, avoid it. Now the specific: all VIX products are trading on VIX futures which a. Does not track the spot price, so price movement corresponding to VIX spike is significantly damped; and b. VIX futures almost always have a strong contango (due to RV < IV), going long and you will lose money, and lose very consistently.

It won't be in this earnings, but they had over $5m in sales from just power packs on Black Friday, and their whole system is just starting and technically in beta. On top of that, having the CEO of PSA on the board now, I think they have found an interesting revenue stream.

In a nutshell: * They had become operationally profitable before Switch 2 sales started, so they don't need those to survive. * Switch 2 sales are of course going to cause a nice uplift this year. * While you can't shrink to profitability, they've started new initiatives with partner PSA around collectables which should grow their top line considerably. Their new Power Packs in particular encourage repeat purchases (customers gamble on a PSA graded card, with probabilities favoring GameStop, and they can instantly sell their pull back with GameStop keeping a commission). These can be shipped to you, or held securely by PSA, but most people will flip multiple cards with GameStop charging a % every time. While margin here is modest, top line growth is top line growth. * They have a big cash pile ($8bn+) which is generating interest on top of their operational profitability, and no bad debt. How they will use this in the long run is anyone's guess, but there's potential for M&A activity in the long run (their CEO Ryan Cohen has talked about how their balance sheet is deployed being the most important thing in the company's future). * Also, Michael Burry seems to have taken a renewed interest in GameStop - hard to say whether he's bought in or not (though he's making a fair amount of noise for someone who hasn't bought in, and historically has been long on GME). Overall they're looking good. I bought in last year when they were dirt cheap and I've always hovered around 50% up at a minimum, hoping for much more than that in the near future.

A. A large portion of the income you mentioned was one off non-core income. B. You didnt mention declining revenue. C. You ignored the risks related to the debt (dilution and repayment) and that total liabilities are up to $5 billion. D. You look at Switch 2 and GTA 6 way to optimistically and don’t explain how they will see significant sales after shuddering most of their retail stores and have no significant edge for digital sales against their competition or digital game downloads. E. The collectibles projection is one quote from Cohen and entirely speculative. PSA and PowerPacks is a cool initiative but not one that is “unique” and sustainability is yet to be proven. The idea that the market is undervaluing GameStop at roughly 28 PE is crazy.
