I'm aggressive so if I was wanting to be less involved I'd probably go 50/50 AIS and PTF. (AI & Technology momentum) If I wanted to be more involved I'd people bet on individual stocks since you don't pay taxes in the IRA until you withdraw.

Various legislators have been trying since the 70's to establish a "Peace Tax Fund" which would essentially allow you to do that. Whatever % of your taxes would go to military spending are instead diverted to the PTF, which could only be used for non-military spending. The most recent proposal was in 2023. All of this is a *bit* performative (originally it was for religious objections to funding war) because money is fungible and US expenditures are financed with sovereign debt so there will never be a time when we run out of coins in the War Jar and have to bring the aircraft carriers home. But it's a nice idea, and would give politicians a real-time signal of how bloodthirsty the public is (or isn't).

I should add that I'd first buy one or more of the semi ETFs: SMH, SOXX, XSD, PSI, PTF. Then, if you want to go heavier on individual stocks, I focus on the equipment stocks. The ETFs do have (current) deadweight like TXN/QCOM, but even in the deadweight category, QCOM performs the worst of the major companies this year and is down only a few percent.
If you believe in chips, then believe in the industry rather than picking a single stock out of a hat. Buy a combination of of SOXX, SMH, XSD and PSI (other folks should consider PTF too given its interesting basket as of April 1st). They are the four best performing non-leveraged ETFs of the past ten years... and while some chip companies performed far better (like NVDA) others (like INTC) performed far worse. It is far more reasonable to expect that chips will be an important money-making industry for the foreseeable future than it is to say any single company will do better than the chip industry average.
The mandate of the FED, besides destroying your PTF, is economic stability. They aim at a stable inflation rate on the forseable years, not that the price of the goods are affordable

Carriers and clerks make PTF after two years. So full benefits but the job still sucks.
Krypto stocks were up double digits. HIVE 12.7% + BITF 13.7% + HUT 15.9% + NP PTF 15.6%+ MARA 24%! My portfolio is 60% krypto so I was up almost 12%

The PTF is essentially a good-faith deposit that Musk seriously intends to buy Twitter. The fee helps protect from him pulling out for any reason. If there actually is fuckery behind the scenes on his part, like market manipulation, then the agreement has been violated and Twitter isn't bound to accept only that amount. They'd have to pursue it on court, but they have that option if a knowing and intentional breach occurs.
Ok, no offense but can we stop with this investing high horse bullshit and shitting on people that speculate short term? 75% of my PTF is invested long term, 20% is cash and 5% is used to speculate short term, to have fun, to get an adrenaline rush from time to time, to make extra money when I'm right and to lose it when I'm wrong. Would have loved to hear your opinion back in the early 2000s when the dotcom bubble burst, seeing your lifesavings go down 90% because you "invested like an adult". In the end we're all here to make money so stop acting like you're some kind of white knight contributing to the prosperity of the companies that you're invested in. You'll take your gains at some point too.
My shitty tech growth ETF (PTF) is down 5% today, I'm down 10 total on it. All growth tech getting slaughtered the whole week, especially today. DOCU down 40% lol

The CCA and RCA positions were created to fuck all the subs out of benefits, retirement, and money while making them slave labor. It's a travesty and the unions sucks ass. Starting them all at PTF after 90 day probation would be better retention rates and save the company untold millions. But they're afraid of long term pay so they can't see the forest for the trees. It's run so poorly basing any stock purchases on shit that they might buy is a fool's errand. To each their own.

I've been in it from its wee days on the pint otc sheets. They've consistently lived up to their promises so far. With the new infrastructure plan there are some contracts to be had with their American subsidiary unifire and PTF manufacturing.
it depends on what kind of fun you want to have. if you are relatively overall conservative i would do a tech sector fun position like $PTF. This one specifically invests in the highest 30 relative strength tech stocks
$CPNG. Bought it at 63 thinking it’ll go further up. Most people sold & so did I. Will re-enter at a better point perhaps $ICLN / $PBW (though I dumped these ones quite quickly) - bought into the hype $PTF - good when the bull market is raging but goes down a lot faster when it isn’t
Based on your picks I think you would like PTF. It's a tech momentum ETF that has gone up massively and I hardly ever see it mentioned here.
Two lines of business: Unifire - margins vary 8-13% depending on the product delivered. With Unifire it's a numbers game, $400M in delivered sales is still 30M gross profit. New CEO has cut back expenses dramatically. The old guy was terrible. Protect the Force - margins over 20%. No significant contracts of 10M+ plus. We are patiently waiting on a big PTF Contract
