This company went from being on the verge of bleeding out prior to 2024 election, to now on the cusp of being the worlds first and only company doing this, not to mention their lease rights to Brownsville port for a processing facility. They’re backed by AllSeas, they’ve tested the tech, tested the processing, the nodules contain higher purity/grade of land sourced minerals - and there is enough to achieve USA’s goal of mineral independence, not to mention meet demand in the years ahead when deficits begin. We will stop relying on foreign countries for medals so regulation hurdles will most likely come down or will pass. The company seems able to execute a matter of keep being costs low and the climate cooperating. Biggest factor in my opinion is the climate.

Yes, they tier it that way, so if you want ESPN or Fox Sports, you have to move up a tier, which mostly includes lower-quality channels. Want TMC, History, SCIFI, or AMC, another tier, etc, ad nauseam...
I'm looking more at companies like AA now for aluminum. Sodium batteries are going to take over in a few years and they use aluminum. Most of those metals TMC collects end up in lithium batteries and will be worth a lot less, and their exploration endeavors are far riskier than most other types of mining/exploration.

I keep seeing DDs on TMC, so I bought LEAPs for 2028. The idea is: metal refinery company, but the yield and quality is way higher because they're sucking the bottom of the ocean. No one is even close, by 5 years and 100s of millions of dollars. They have their own special licenses and laws in the US, as they'd be local as opposed to overseas **and** they're building a refinery next to SpaceX, so it's already built-in money. Apparently, first big move should be by Jan 2027 when their licenses are fully realised.

Someone above also pointed out that Elon's projects require said metals, and TMC shares a few of Elon's higher-ups on their board, so there's already guaranteed money there for SpaceX's need for minerals. TMC's refinery will also be directly next to SpaceX.

Read the independent PFS. $TMC has performed numerous test runs with their production ship, riser and tracked vehicle over the years. They can vacuum/refine its critical minerals 10x cheaper than literally any land-based mining companies right now.
Permits are expected by Q1 2027. The Hidden Gem will undergo further upgrades. Commercial exploitation is set to begin Q4 2027. So that’s why Jan 2028. Noting those estimates predate the consolidated & expedited permit application that NOAA allowed through policy change and that TMC is currently profiting from.
TMC is moving up steadily. Commercial recovery permit is likely coming in the next couple months.

It’s just a matter of paperwork now - they’ve got to follow the process fully to make this legally indisputable. The commercial permit is expected by $TMC to be fully executed before the end Q1 2027 - with a few additional public confirmations of progress every few months.
