No, UAMY’s smelter is in Thompson Falls, MT. As of now, it is the only operating smelter in the US. It is fully operational atm.

Crime to leave out UAMY who has already secured a long term ~300mil contract with the US and is the only vertically integrated antimony supplier in the US. Mining, refining, etc, they do it all. Only company with operating antimony smelters in the US currently.
Look into MP, UUUU, MTRN, UURAF, and LYSDY if you’re interested in the most established REE (rare earth element) production companies with the strongest moats. As for CM (critical mineral) producers in general, there’s a lot to list, but some gems that come to mind are TUNGF, UAMY, USAR, TII, and USAS.
UAMY got in at the end of 2024, held majority of this year, up around 340%. At one point it was up almost 1300%.
It would be really fucking cool if UAMY could string two of these 15% days back to back.

I was busy at work, and got my ass blasted by UAMY lol
UAMY 2026/2027 will be huge for them, it’s already up around 700% for the year. It hit $19.70 and I’ve seen it as low as $1.40 which is when I bought in. Antimony is super restricted & scarce in China as their mines are depleting and it is a crazy valuable resource for our military & just everyday applications. Even though price shot up this year, it is still crazy undervalued and relatively unknown by the everyday person. Oh & UAMY is the ONLY smelter of antimony on US soil. While I don’t affiliate with this current admin, they are “America First” so I believe and (have seen) that UAMY has tremendous backing from the US government. Also really like TMC as well. Had some shares, sadly sold but hoping to get back in soon.

Oddly, I decided to go GOOG a week before Warren bought. I learned my lesson trying to trade on the news, which I know better than to do, and had a rationale for UAMY, but I was wrong. Net the two trades I'm more than whole after my UAMY ding, it is now being valued at a more rational level. Your investment strategy is solely highly speculative meme's - good luck with that.

I fucked up and got got back in too quick. I had my SGBX profits and quickly placed it into UAMY at $6.5, then hours later it was at $5. Im beating myself up for it, but I was busy and didnt have time to watch it and time it right.

They have fully funded the next phase of mine progression (on track to open in 2026) and expectation of an EXIM loan was priced out by the recent government shutdown, so the possibility still offers significant upside. When operational, they'll be the only vertically-integrated graphite extraction and production facility in the contiguous US - so the UAMY of graphite, essentially.

For profits, I'd say it is just about that, yes. What I usually do is set SL at 100% winnings for half the investment, so I get my money back, and see where it goes from there. A few tips here, notably UAMY, have tilted the balance far enough for me to be in the plus. But I haven't dared to really calculate this sub's effects on my gambling account into detail. :P

UAMY if you looking for new hotness. It’s relatively short resistant as it doesn’t have any of the typical issues short sellers look for in a company. Also it’s good for both weekly and leaps Do like 10 minutes of research and you’ll see what I mean.
Look let me be honest, I don't have a precise idea of what I'm doing. My current strategy is to bet on several small / mid cap stocks with a big upside potential (like a 10x or more) and hope that a few of them will take off. For example, I have been very lucky with UAMY (my average is 2$) and very unlucky with redwire (my average was 19$ and I sold everything for a big loss). For the case of UI path, what convinced me is that it is currently trading with a forward pe of only 16. And for a mid cap stock (market cap < 10 B) which is still growing this sounds very good. Additionally it looks like their new product for AI agent orchestration (Maestro) has been well received and might boost their revenue growth. What about you?

The ban is still on for military grade antimony and its a one year reprieve in commercial of which china is running out of themselves since they are a net importer. Not to mention some antimony refiners in china are currently going under because of feedstock issues. Only thing bearish about UAMY is people posting misinformation like you.

I think we could see a smelting facility open near PPTA’s mine once it’s operational. It doesn’t have to be UAMY building or owning the facility. It could be Glencore, Trafigura, or whoever else they were in talks with to process the antimony. Look at the video of UAMY’s smelter facility - it’s not a high tech super expensive situation that is impossible to replicate. What worried me the most on UAMY that caused me to sell is they aren’t operating like they know they have a government buy in deal coming. Check how they interact on social media, it reeks of desperation. No buy in deal and the stock will bleed, which it has been.
Now the reaction in UAMY might be overstated. They still have the monopoly on smelting and Chinas last shipments we pretty low quality.

Market might be having a short term rally next week. Look to cutting your losses and rolling into safer strikes. I would suggest buying long dated calls on stocks breaking out. Currently I’m up 70% on Feb 2026 UAMY calls 10 dollar strike. Huge catalyst ahead of china news comes thru, we had a decent uptick based on mineral news on Friday.
My port is -40k this week, with 2 margin call emails from my broker, but was -55k until about 14 hours ago so feels like winning. Some tiny forced closures of positions and a bit of pruning to keep the wolf from the door. I sold the bottom in February and April and refuse to do it again. UAMY and ASTS 2x leverage ETF taketh away but will now giveth. TMC (critical minerals) may just be pausing to gape me even more, but will come good in the end. Badly need triumphant Truth post about reopening and Bessent to reiterate Q4 liquidity pumping this weekend.

You are in no position to be investing, much less dollar cost averaging. But I know what sub I’m on, you know what I think you should do? Switch to paper trading. Literally, I know it’s fake money and it feels stupid, but challenge yourself. Wipe whatever fake million they give you and start with 15k again. The reason I say this is because it’s very easy to throw down 100k in fake money on a stock, see a +20K gain a few days later and think “I’m good, I just need to size up”. Remember the 90-90-90 rule. 90% of retail investors lose 90% of their money within the first 90 days. Here on WSB, you see all the gainz and that’s it. You don’t see the bag holders - you don’t see what happens when a trendy stock on here gets fucked. I’ll list a few for you now. LDI, BYND, UAMY, POET, META recently (lol), ONDS, BBAI, BULL, POOL. These are all stocks that were at one point “hot” on WSB. All of these have absolutely sharted. You paid tuition to the market gods. We all have. I lost $6K playing earnings on a company who beat and raised but the stock tanked anyway. Tuition. Never play earnings. An expensive lesson. Pay your tuition in fake money first, then reload. Save your money. Keep working. Dollar cost average into your own bank account for awhile.
You’ve learned an important lesson. Your set and forget mindset is what cooked you here. You knew things would slow down, and what? You shrugged and just.. forgot? I’ve been watching MP since the pentagon deal in July pushed it to $40+. The entire reason why tickers like MP and UAMY (who was sub $5) cranked is because China looked to retaliate against the US via minerals and rare earths. The US doesn’t have the infrastructure for rare earths like China does. So when the threat came, the US found itself in an “oh shit, we need the infrastructure before we can have the minerals” -> MP cranks to $90, UAMY cranks to $17+ in under a few weeks. And for a minute, it seemed like they weren’t going to work it out. Trump at one point straight up said he might not even meet with China. You can’t tell me you missed this because the whole market went red when it happened. When they finally met, and worked it out- smart money started running for the exits. Every single day MP dropped hard, and it didn’t stop dropping. Now MP is headed back to $40. UAMY is back to $6 lol Set and forget doesn’t mean literally forget when you play stocks like this. You gotta keep checking in.
US gov announced today that copper, silver and rhenium (among others) are all critical metals. NAK has those in abundance. Gov's legal response in court to NAK's motion is due on Jan 2. I would think that the Gov and NAK work out a deal - Gov green lights Pebble and Gov gets a percentage of NAK (similar to UAMY and TMQ and MP). Downside is there, but limited compared to big upside if deal is worked out in the next few weeks.

Nuclear stocks have had a rough going over the last week. Several tickers kept on slipping today. Add rare earths and drones to the list, honorable mentions to UAMY and ONDS — both bleeding quite a bit. I think most of those will go back up when the government shutdown ends.
