Probably fairly expensive but could still print, I do IWM because you can get fairly cheap entries. I typically only buy puts on individual stocks for earnings. I have some calls on precious metal miners UAMY, ALM, and MP due to Chinese restrictions and the amount of bombs being used means the demand should be higher we’ll see if they print

hey! I've been keeping an eye on UAMY too. like you said, that revenue jump is really impressive, but the profitability struggles are definitely a concern. it seems like they’re making strides with projects and contracts, but without consistent earnings, it's hard to feel super confident. personally, idk if I’d hold through the volatility right now. the -10% drop today doesn’t inspire much faith, especially with the high P/S. i think it’s smart to keep an eye on that EPS trend — if they can stabilize profits, it might be worth holding out, but if things keep swinging, I’d consider taking some profits on bounces. definitely want to watch for any further dilution or cash runway issues too. anyone else think they can turn this around?
I did run a historical prices analysis on UAMY, on March 17th - the only technical analysis signals I received were 5, 10 and 20 day momentum, RSI was at 55.8, but the next day (March 18th) the positive alerts had disappeared. You should look at stop loss around 8% (Which which have triggered around $9.07), you can always go buy back, why risk it? The next support line is at around $7.25 - which may or may not trigger a bounce, but that's along way away.
I’ll break it down really simply for you. When gas prices come back down to earth, then and only then will UAMY get back on the upslope. They’re non-correlated assets. When one goes up, the other goes down. When one goes down, the other goes up. You can’t be buying shit at the top like that. You need to get in before the breakout, otherwise the stock is going right back to where there’s support levels. Which is, again, right near where the stock broke out originally.

I trade LXU, a chemical-agri company. Word is with the wars fertilizer is going up. Solid business and closed at $14.90 today. Also trade UAMY, the only antimony mining company in America. China is the dominant producer today, but Trump wants America to lead in producing since it is a critical metal Bad news is I bought it at $9.80 this morning and closed at $9.20. Both are solid companies.
dang, tough day for sure. i feel ya on the frustration, especially after a winning week. DHT is looking solid tho, oil's been kinda bouncing back with those tanker rates still being decent. UAMY's interesting too, antimony is definitely one to watch given the China situation. hopefully it rebounds soon, but that -5% for CAN today isn't helping anyone's mood... what's your long-term plan with UAMY? just in for the short ride or holding for the future?
I kinda changed my strategy the first of the year. The market environment changed. Went to the big caps. That was a mistake. They havent moved too much. I started looking at small to mid size companies with good fundamentals and actual sales. Presently that is where I'm at, in those smaller stocks. UAMY is the only American company mining antimony, a critical metal that China dominates. Trump is wanting American companies to lead. Just this morning I purchased UAMY at $9.80 and if I had only waited till the close I could have bought at $9.20. Another stock I buy and sell is LXU. With the war they are saying fertilizer is going to up and this is a solid American company, based in OKC. I own these two, and relatively cheap, but solid. You might do some due diligence on the two and let me know what you think.

It's not just the optics. It's the high-speed electronics and the bodies as well. Its not a lot per 6 its needed in every one of them. And how many do you think the west is going to make...for ever. China currently controls most of it. The stibnite in the U.S. is all low grade, and UAMY is the only licensed hydromet user in the western hemisphere. The chokepoint isn't the metals it's the processing.

UAMY is the \*only\* domestic refiner of antimony in the US and are currently expanding that facility. They have developed a higher grade of ore to be less reliant on other producers and been selected as a strategic partner of Dept of War for their critical material supply chain initiative and was just awarded $27m. Uamy is also partnering with usas to procure additional antimony for processing.

It's a painful ride. Thankfully my SQQQ and UAMY outperformed my PSLV position today so I'm well green, but can't say I was thrilled with the silver hedge performance. Should've cashed out on PSLV +2% premarket.

Rare Earth Elements (REE) and Critical Minerals (CM) with this strike in Iran we're going to cut China off more oil like we did with Venezuela, they in retaliation will cut us off more from their REE and CM, so United States will fast track mining and refinement. There are bills aready passed in Congress now waiting for Senate. I have TMC, UURAF, UAMY, USAR, DTREF, ARRNF and some other small ones.
UAMY is the ticker name, United State Antimony is the company. I've poured a significant amount of money into this mineral company that mines, refines, and produces Antimony due to the fact that the only real other supplier was China which has stopped exporting it. Russia is another semi big player but there's enough countries that aren't doing trade with them due to the continuing Ukraine war. What is Antimony? well its used to create bullets, and also is used in the ignition system used to make bullets, there's other uses such as fire retardant, a small minuscule amount is used in electronics, and it's also used in night vision goggles, but its main use is bullets. The United states has labelled it a critical mineral, so the fact that its valuable can't be disputed. I honest to god think that unless it comes down quite a bit, you shouldn't buy in, because it is a mineral company, it does swing hard just like silver, gold, etc. The pros that I like is that they keep expanding their antimony producing capabilities, they partnered with a nearby silver company to buy their antimony by product in a joint venture, they opened a new flotilla processing facility which takes low grade antimony and refines it until it's in a usable state. They own the only two smelters located this side of the world, they own one in US, another in Mexico. The cons: They're heavily relying on importing the mineral from other countries at the moment, a quick glance says 16 different foreign countries are currently selling them antimony mineral in order to get it refined. They can't get their hands on the raw mineral to actually hit 100% production rate in their facilities. They seem to be importing from several foreign counties, on top of also importing from a few other states away from their main processing facility, from Alaska to Idaho then taking it to montana. I like the company, I like the CEO, I hate whoever handles their media marketing team because they seem childish and really make the company look bad on Twitter. It's currently sitting at about 9 dollars per stock which is a farcry from the all time high of 20 it was at last year. Also a high portion of it is shorted, it usually sits at 20% shorted. They're really trying to be a critical mineral hub, and I'm hoping they take off.

Short interest in UAMY is currently a whopping 21% of float.
Last I’ve heard, most of his more specific discussions and exact play disclosures are behind a newsletter paywall on substack. I think the main reason is that he’s grown popular enough to tangibly affect the market on some of the smaller caps + people who bought too high and lost money blamed him for it. Hes still very active on his subreddit though regarding consistent news. I don’t think he’s cashed out anything yet besides expiring calls and closing some of the less surefire plays like UAMY
