$UAMY - huge potential
It's a painful ride. Thankfully my SQQQ and UAMY outperformed my PSLV position today so I'm well green, but can't say I was thrilled with the silver hedge performance. Should've cashed out on PSLV +2% premarket.

Rare Earth Elements (REE) and Critical Minerals (CM) with this strike in Iran we're going to cut China off more oil like we did with Venezuela, they in retaliation will cut us off more from their REE and CM, so United States will fast track mining and refinement. There are bills aready passed in Congress now waiting for Senate. I have TMC, UURAF, UAMY, USAR, DTREF, ARRNF and some other small ones.
UAMY is the ticker name, United State Antimony is the company. I've poured a significant amount of money into this mineral company that mines, refines, and produces Antimony due to the fact that the only real other supplier was China which has stopped exporting it. Russia is another semi big player but there's enough countries that aren't doing trade with them due to the continuing Ukraine war. What is Antimony? well its used to create bullets, and also is used in the ignition system used to make bullets, there's other uses such as fire retardant, a small minuscule amount is used in electronics, and it's also used in night vision goggles, but its main use is bullets. The United states has labelled it a critical mineral, so the fact that its valuable can't be disputed. I honest to god think that unless it comes down quite a bit, you shouldn't buy in, because it is a mineral company, it does swing hard just like silver, gold, etc. The pros that I like is that they keep expanding their antimony producing capabilities, they partnered with a nearby silver company to buy their antimony by product in a joint venture, they opened a new flotilla processing facility which takes low grade antimony and refines it until it's in a usable state. They own the only two smelters located this side of the world, they own one in US, another in Mexico. The cons: They're heavily relying on importing the mineral from other countries at the moment, a quick glance says 16 different foreign countries are currently selling them antimony mineral in order to get it refined. They can't get their hands on the raw mineral to actually hit 100% production rate in their facilities. They seem to be importing from several foreign counties, on top of also importing from a few other states away from their main processing facility, from Alaska to Idaho then taking it to montana. I like the company, I like the CEO, I hate whoever handles their media marketing team because they seem childish and really make the company look bad on Twitter. It's currently sitting at about 9 dollars per stock which is a farcry from the all time high of 20 it was at last year. Also a high portion of it is shorted, it usually sits at 20% shorted. They're really trying to be a critical mineral hub, and I'm hoping they take off.

I document mine (mostly), when I get time. $4k up this month on a ~70k play portfolio. Bought today $UAMY @7.38, still riding $ATEX. Exited VST for a little while to let earnings dust settle. Shorted $QQQ this morning for a few hundred bucks profit.

I think the bottom was Thursday night, nah I'm not buying back in. I've been investing in UAMY harder since then. (Not a stock suggestion) I just feel that UAMY is a better investment at the moment and I'm already covered in silver and gold investment through ASM. Indirectly

Short interest in UAMY is currently a whopping 21% of float.
Last I’ve heard, most of his more specific discussions and exact play disclosures are behind a newsletter paywall on substack. I think the main reason is that he’s grown popular enough to tangibly affect the market on some of the smaller caps + people who bought too high and lost money blamed him for it. Hes still very active on his subreddit though regarding consistent news. I don’t think he’s cashed out anything yet besides expiring calls and closing some of the less surefire plays like UAMY

The UAMY trim may haunt me indeed. But I've made a decent profit already. In the event of a liquidity pull the best runners will get trimmed first by funds, if margin calls occur. This is very much putting UAMY in the firing line. If the unwind is much more controlled, UAMY may have a steady ascent. I feel it's already run past its fair value for this very moment in time. That is not to say it doesn't have huge potential - it does. Just may be prematurely valued for this specific point in its operations.
Yields will spike. UAMY trim will haunt you. I like the thesis though.

I'm probably overindexing this, but the $UAMY CEO declared in an interview on Fox Business his company will be worth 2B in 2026, so I am interpreting that to be about $14 per share based on market capitalization without dilution, etc.

$UAMY for rare earths/antimony
UUUU, USAR…. So the words out UAMY is expanding their Thompson Falls facility (yes, the only antimony smelter in the US). They said that last year and it actually has started. Anyhoo, now that we’ve became an unreliable defense partner for the EU’s, the success of CSG‘s IPO was not unexpected. They make plenty of small arms munitions and will become maybe one of the largest EU defense companies in recent times.
Why’d they get so much more than UAMY?
Their charts look pretty much identical for the past few days. UAMY is +28% for the week and UUUU +19%
Has to be UAMY next, only antimony producer outside of China and no bullet can be fired without antimony.

Agree! Rare materials are going wild. To continue from your additions, USAR, AREC, NB, and UAMY are all worth watching in my opinion. I believe AI and semis are starting to rollover or slow down. I am just about to close my SNDK position after almost a ~100% profit for that reason. Thanks for your outlook!

If I take off my WSB persona for a second. I don't like platinum, platinum could be replaced by other cheaper metals if my understanding is correct. Silver and gold are shooting for a few reasons. They're traditional institutional markets of wealth. When in doubt humanity has always turned to gold and silver to keep monetary value. Gold and silver are now used in electronics. Most countries have said both are critical minerals. China has stopped exporting silver. Seems as though everyone is trying to hoard their gold and silver because the future is uncertain. If you're looking for another rare mineral, can I offer you some Anti-Mon(e)y? $UAMY I've been throwing spare money into antimoney as it seems promising. Up 25% in the last week. 81% in the last month. 12% down in the last 3 months though, so i believe its still going to shoot back to at least its previous price. It's been labelled as another critical resource. China and russia seem to have the lions share on most antimony, so UAMY seems to have one of, (though they flat out claim to have) the only antimony smelter outside those two countries. This week they acquired a processing plant ~200 miles away from their main facility, and their stock shot like 20% in a single day. The stock is still cheap at only ~10 a share right now, though I've been buying since they were ~7 a share. The US gov has partnered with them to fund some of their costs as its considered critical to defense capabilities. Antimony seems to be used in ammunition primers, considered a defensive metals, a fire retardant, small quantities are used in electronics. *WSB hat back on* ANTI-MONEY TO THE MOON BBY.

Hmmm so are miners the play this year, I’m holding Silver Storm, Titan and Prospector Metals, and finally loaded up on GORO today. All long term holds. I also like New Found Gold. I sold UAMY last week for 30% profit, will get back in if it dips. Please tell me someone bought and held Hycroft since this time last year, up +2200%, everyday I watch this stock climb but don’t buy… Sorry not all pennies but meh
