Dual boot, mac uses Intel hardware now so dual boot is easy to do with an Intel i5 or 7. I did triple boot windows 10, Ubuntu and mac os with i7 4790k, clocked at 5ghz on air. 16gb corsair dominator platinum and a gigabyte z97 black edition mobo. Amd r9 390x 8gb gpu. Had no problems until one (couple of years later) day my drive became invisible and wouldn't boot, but I think I got hacked and system 32 deleted or something. Some dodgy VST plugin for a DAW. Console gamers were wetting their pants seeing the draw distance and graphic detail on things like gta5. Another benefit of pc. Gaming xbox app and PlayStation games too. Why buy a console, 3 years later need to spend 500 on new one 100 on 2nd control. 100+ per game etc. P.c master race gets new gpu and carries on like nothing happened.

TBH, I don’t use VST either. The emotion isn’t there and VST liquidity is lower so price action is noisier, especially when you get beyond BTC, ETH, and alts that are currently super hot. What I generally do instead is just use very small real money positions for test purposes. Generally $2-5. Even though that’s next to know risk, my brain sees it in the real money fund and mentally registers similar to my regular trades. IMO, VST is most useful for getting people familiar with the platform and how leverage works, but sounds like you’re beyond that. Worth mentioning, regardless. At the end of the day, though, if you have something that works for you, there’s absolutely no shame in just sticking to that. Always good to think how you could improve on the system, but as long as you are profitable, there’s never a NEED to improve on the system.

It is a great use for leverage. Especially when you can take partial profit and get a risk-free runner position. If you want to play around with leverage without risking money so you get familiar, many exchanges have play money portals you can use to test. I primarily use BingX for leverage. They have VST which is just play money. You can use it to test strategies and get familiar with the platform.

They should cooperate with the NSA since that agency loves collecting all our data. Heck, they even have warehouses dedicated for this purpose. https://i.imgur.com/Y1VST3V.jpg

SUSD and ETH for sports betting, GMX and GLP for yield, VST for leveraging GLP, and VSTA for governance.

There are quite a few decentralized stables, LUSD (Liquity) is one which is gaining the spotlight now due to recent events Vesta (VST) is another one, basically Liquity fork but on Arbitrum. Both LUSD and VST prfioritize stability over ponzi pumpamentals like liquidity mining, or growing their TVL by pushing it heavily like a company. Both LUSD and VST maintained their peg at all times during the volatility and market collapse of the last few months DAI was decentralized since its inception however the got too comfortable into introducing USDC was a collateral. This is what happens when the team pushes for growth Liquity otoh is truly decentralized and can be minted with ETH or BTC using a minimum of 150% collateral ratio. Its contracts cannot be upgraded (if there is a bug it cant be halted), the protocol doesnt have its own frontend, it is implemented by other dapps like defi saver, b-protocol, etc. Anyone can implement their own front end for liquity. https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/liquity-usd The market prices LUSD at a premium due to these features - its truly decentralized and unstoppable so it has always traded at >$1, currently at $1.01 but as much as $1.03 in the last couple of weeks as the market was in search of an actual decentralized stable

Never heard of OUSD. USDD is an algo-stable, which i will never touch. Right now, i'm farming VST-DAI-USDT-USDC pool on Arbitrum Balancer. APR was 80% when i joined a couple weeks ago, and is 20% now, and will be 0% soon because it got no votes for next epoch. I do not recommend anyone to join now, as they risk eating a loss on impermanent loss given the short time frame left to farm. It was a nice farm while it lasted though, and relatively low risk. Chance of loss occurs only under any of the following conditions: * Balancer, an established protocol, gets exploited and their LPs drained. * Any one of the holy trinity of DAI-USDT-USDC suffers a permanent depeg, which is highly unlikely in my opinion, but ever present. * VST suffers a permanent depeg, which may occur if it's main collateral asset gOHM goes down in value massively. For this to happen, Olympus DAO treasury has to be exploited and drained. Alternatively, Olympus DAO converts a substantial portion of it's stablecoin treasury into risk assets, and then proceeds to lose substantial treasury value in a crash. A third possible scenario is an exploit that allows large amounts of GOHM to be minted, destroying it's value. Anyway, the value in stablecoin farming, is mostly made by capitalising on these young protocols and chains. For example, it was once possible to get 40% APR on metis chain, merely by supplying USDT-USDC LP to it's fledging DEXes. They needed to bootstrap liquidity for the major stablecoins, and rather then having two LPs for every major coin (ETH-USDC, ETH-USDT), it was cheaper to have everything paired against USDC, then have a massive USDT-USDC pool, so that people can still use USDT to buy assets on the chain with USDT->USDC->asset route. And so they paid USDC-USDT LPers handsomely. If you're feeling lazy to do research on young chains and protocols to stay safe from rugs, it's also possible to simply use convex and pool MIM+3crv or alUSD + 3crv for relatively low risk returns.

I disagree. What's wrong with over collateralized algorithmic stable coins that are backed by Bitcoin or ether, like DAI, LUSD, or VST? As long as they have mechanisms to stay over collateralized, they seem to work just fine.
