I've felt a lot more comfortable putting nuclear investments in the nuclear ETFs. I have positions in URNM URNJ and URA. I also have some small gamble positions in SMR and OKLO

r/stocksSee Comment

100% agree. Cameco or URA/URNM. URA and URNM both give exposure and have large holdings in Cameco: 24% and 19%, respectively. URA and URNM both pay a nice dividend: 3.2% and 4.8%, respectively. I personally wouldn't touch any junior miners or junior mining ETFs (i.e. URNJ). Too speculative for my taste.

r/stocksSee Comment

URNM is a good one if you want exposure. Its a nice basket. URNJ is inherently more risky but is paying a nice dividend

Mentions:#URNM#URNJ

Honestly I have a hard time recommending individual tickers despite buying and holding plenty of them. Take a look at ETFs like URNJ/COPJ/SILJ to keep it simple! For me I'm stupid bullish on nuclear energy making a comeback someday, so for uranium I hold basically all the ETFs as well as all the individual miners lol. I only recently got into copper and _only_ holding the ETFs has been good to me so far

I bought AGQ and GDXU (both leveraged) beginning of the month, super happy so far! Also bought COPJ, URNJ and XME

URA, URNM, URNJ - all Uranium ETFs NXE, DNN, UUUU, CCO - great stocks to hold F3 Uranium, GLO - risky but attractive

r/stocksSee Comment

The recent rebalance and change of index rules makes URNM very suspect, I wouldn't go near it while UEC has its new 12-13% weighting. URA has a similar problem with OKLO. Neither company has near-term revenues to justify even 1/100th of their current valuations, and the ETFs put heavy expectations on their performance. Sprott's other uranium ETF URNJ has added a few microcaps that look like blatant scams as well. Not a great look for them.

r/stocksSee Comment

I'm a little concerned with the changes they are making to the index effective Dec 18th. Kazatomprom is the world's biggest miner but is being reduced to 4.7%, while smoke and mirrors UEC is increasing to 12.94% on the proforma. Dropping all the smaller caps is sensible to create more differences between URNM and URNJ, but like URA it's becoming more leveraged to the performance of speculative US memestocks rather than fundamental valuations.

r/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

there are so many uranium companies that aren't big enough for me to mention here do yourselves a favor and look into URNM and URNJ holdings to see how many companies have the potential to run like energy fuels

Mentions:#URNM#URNJ
r/smallstreetbetsSee Comment

All of them? I like what DNN is doing a lot. Their mine plan looks disgustingly profitable but theres a handful of very good ones, people seem to love UUUU The ETFs are good too, im heavy on URA but URNM and URNJ look nice too

r/smallstreetbetsSee Comment

There's lots, depends on what stage you want, active mines id go for LEU probably, but I like the mines which are close to coming online so stuff like DNN, NXE, UUUU.  I also like early stage explorers but theyre basically high risk pennystocks. Not for the faint of heart. Realistically I would look at the ETFs URNJ, URNM, see what they're holding and dig into those companies. Or just buy the ETFs, safer move all things considered

r/smallstreetbetsSee Comment

The supply crunch narrative is becoming more known. Current production is at or below supply, 440 live plants, 70 under construction, 100 planned. So theres structural and constant demand, with 40% of global supply produced by kazatomprom who is struggling to meet their targets due to bottlenecks Other narratives.. SMR gaining traction, nuclear to fuel AI getting traction, nuclear to decarbonize getting traction Id just start with the ETFs as a base and branch out from there, so URA, URNM, URNJ, im sure there's more out there too. If you want to research companies look at what those funds hold. Anything smaller is likely to be more of a junior explorer

r/stocksSee Comment

Have been holding both CCJ and URG for the same amount of time, CCJ: up 210% URG: up 131% I like them both. CCJ is without a doubt the safest choice but might not see "crazy gains" like some of the smaller names. There are also some great ETFs: URA, URNJ, URNM

r/stocksSee Comment

If you are concerned about the volatility, go with one (or many) of the nuclear ETFs. NUCL/NUKL, URNJ, URNU, URNM. I've allocated a % of my profile for each of these.

Go for an index. SILJ is the most behind of the big 4 miner index (gdx, gdxj, sil, silj) and gives you the most alpha I think. I also love copper miners for a can’t lose long term position (copx). Also look into energy stocks (oil, natural gas, coal, uranium). For oil I love CNQ. Awesome business with huge dividends, well run, money printer atm basically. Nat gas, I like anterro and range recources. Coal I love the upside for CNR, it looks to have bottomed and is reversing with lots of upside. URA/URNJ for uranium. These all tend to perform very well after gold leads a move up and they’re all very beaten down right now besides uranium which has been flying with the metals.

r/stocksSee Comment

For ETFs... URA, URNJ, SLVR (uranium and silver) are my top three just strongly believe they are undervalued Also in FAN & TAN (wind and solar energy) but to a much smaller extent

Plenty. However, If you don’t want to do your homework, I’d recommend the ETF’s. Diversified, safer, dividends. #uranium : URA URNM URNJ #gold : GDX GDXJ SLV SILJ Already had a good run but the generalist investors are not in yet. Plenty of runway in my opinion. Good luck 👍🏼

LEU and ASPI are the big plays for the enrichment bottleneck. SMR, OKLO, LTBR are the next generation reactor tech plays. There are an absolute ton of uranium miners you can look at and multiple ETFs that cover the sector - URNM and URNJ are pure uranium plays.

I own all of those stocks and very happy with performance so far Also holding and happy with: LEU, EU, CCJ, URNJ, RYCEY, SMR

If you want safe turn off your brain and boring returns, CCJ (decent options chain though) or one of the ETFs. They're several now but URNM and URNJ are the better ones for just miners. NUKZ has nuclear tech stocks too. For miners specifically I recommend UUUU or DNN. UUUU is debt free and will be an economic powerhouse from uranium, Rare earths, titanium, zirconium and medical Isotopes like radium 226 and 228. They're my personal favorite. DNN is looking very good for a near term producer. I just don't like their share float count lol The others have various problems or have a bunch of upside already priced in like NXE (very priced in, buyout target, management is ass) or UEC (CEO is a used car salesman type, pounds in the ground are all economically shit and the stock is horribly overvalued for what they have) or EU (signed a bunch of contracts too early for too soon and their mines aren't fully up so they're currently having to buy Uranium for more than what their contracts are listed to sell at causing them to lose money left and right till alta mesa is up)

URNJ is for junior minors Which is smaller mining companies that have bigger upside potential as well as much more risk, most of these will go up when the commodity price goes up, but some could go up higher based on areas they have to mine how far along in development they are and how much potential they have. Personally, I allocate a smaller portion to the junior minors ETF in about 50% to the spot price, and the rest to the regular miners.

Hi, I can't give any financial advice. It all depends on the level of risk you are willing to take on your investments I'm invested in several uranium companies and also in the 2 physical uranium funds (Yellow Cake and Sprott Physical Uranium Trust) 1) The lowest risk are the physical uranium funds, because here you don't have the mining related risks 2) There are possibilities to get a well diversified exposure to the uranium sector through uranium sector ETF's: URNM, URNJ, URA, HURA, GCL 3) Producers generating cash inflows today are: Paladin Energy, EnCore Energy, Cameco, Kazatomprom, ... 4) Well advanced developers (higher risk category): Denison Mines (will start a small production in 2025 that will help to finance the development of their very high grade uranium project Phoenix in Canada), Global Atomic (building the DASA mine as we speak, production start early 2026), Bannerman Resources, Deep Yellow, ... 5) other developers and explorers (highest risk category) This isn't financial advice. This is the worlds simplest trade. It is not even a supply and demand story. It is purely a supply story, there is not enough supply and real demand (non financial) is static. Production is 30-50 million lbs below demand every year. Even though the commodity price has doubled the big players are having production issues and production in the sector is actually falling right now. Near term producers should have a lot blue sky with more open contract books. URNJ is a good way to play the ETFs for torque. GLATF is extremely undervalued and has the only new tier 1 asset that will be producing in the next 5 years(they will deliver yellowcake in 2026.)

The idea is if major producers like Kazatomprom can’t fill demand, this indicates global shortages and the value of uranium will rise; directly seen in the Sprott physical uranium trust (SPRUUF). In theory, this means major Canadian producer Cameco(CCO) and uranium mining funds (URNM, URNJ) should increase in value and smaller players (DNN, BNN, DYL, FUU) will be funded to take on a larger role…

SRUUF (the Sprott Uranium Trust) Strictly speaking, it's not a stock, it's a trust that owns uranium and so follows the market price of uranium. There's a systematic, multiyear shortage of uranium playing out now, and economic conditions have almost zero correlation with baseload power needs (this in contrast to oil, where in a recession you might get less jet fuel demand because there's less travel) Note that Uranium miners' price (You can buy ETFS that track them, like URNM and URNJ are highliy correlated to the price of uranium, but in a liquidity-driven market event they'll probably crash along with everyone else. That's why sticking with the pure play on the commodity is probably the best bet.
