Solid setup overall, but it’s more aggressive than it looks. VOO at 30% gives some stability, but 50%+ of the portfolio is still tied to AI / semis sentiment (NVDA, ORCL, MU). MU and options materially raises risk. Even at 5%, options can dominate outcomes if timing goes wrong. ZEPP is fine as a moonshot, but at 10% it’s already a meaningful bet, not just a flyer. This can work if you’re comfortable with big drawdowns and can stay disciplined when AI cools off. If not, I’d either reduce options exposure or increase the core ETF weight. Good upside potential, just don’t underestimate correlation and volatility here. My 2 cents
Yo man, check out my 2025 setup. I’m 30% in VOO to anchor the portfolio, with 15% NVDA and 10% ORCL for that AI exposure. I’ve also got 15% in MU—mostly shares, but I’m keeping 5% in options for some extra delta. Then the last 10% is in ZEPP as a small-cap moonshot. What do you think?

Yes. It's easier to identify the ai generated garbage. It's this video convinced me to buy ZEPP, for example: https://youtu.be/keBDIz4IAAk?feature=shared It was obvious to me they really cared about their product and were making moves to become profitable. That stock doubled my net worth.
Anyone here who is a real genius with options strategy. What would be your approach with ZEPP? It's a pretty obvious China manipulation/P&D. But these things can keep being manipulated up for a long time. So my strategy I think right now is to buy the DEC 45 put at $8-9 range but go long on 100 shares, ride the shares up get out when/if I b/e on the option. worst thing I can see happen is it doesn't crash or keep going up and my option gets IV crushed and I get no profit from shares.
I'd be cautious about ANTE and SOGP. They've both been short squeezed pretty hard, especially SOGP. For ZEPP, the price action has been very sketchy since the start of July and it's since gone up nearly 2000%. The price looks super manipulated, and yet it still keeps running up
Didn't do GEG but I had the same rationale for it as SIG and and C3is (SIGG). Depressed sentiment and the potential for a surprise. You kind of have to have a couple of them on to catch any of them. Thanks on ANTE, ZEPP, and SOGP - will check them out.
Just saw your other comment. Did you end up going long on GEG? I didn't even think of it until I saw it exploding AH on ToS. Right now, not much except for irresponsibly large short positions on ANTE, ZEPP, and SOGP. Might play out, might blow up in my face
Check out ZEPP. Low float and a rocket ship straight up on good earnings. Wide bid ask and low volume. I think I’ll pick up a $50c tomorrow for the lollz

Oh yeah, this whole sub is 90% bag holders trying to off load bad, low volume investments. You still have to do your own DD. My two recent success stories are CGTX, and ZEPP. I am expecting both to continue growing, but I am likely holding for another year. The next one I am hoping for is PSNY. MBOT also looks like a good play, but I haven't bought in. I only use this sub for tips, I ignore things I am not confident in. I ignore posts that sound like a stream of consciousness AI generated writing assignment. I may go a year without buying anything if that doesn't happen. My primary investments are all relatively large cap stocks and indexes, but every once in a while I throw 10k into a risky stock. I have made way more on the risks, but I don't plan on ever going all in.

Lunch is the number one bet, but imho ZEPP is a great penny stock with future potential. They make smart watches for Amazon that are cheaper than fitbits or Apple Watches, and they are used more widely outside the US. This is not some instant money make though, imho. It’s an early investment.

tbh don't listen to the other comment, China banned for profit tutoring nearly in its totality, $EDU has a lot of business in there. You are a bit late short term wise, and it's at a point where it might keep going up or take a breather. Long term I think there will be a massive China recovery. $PDD $ZEPP $BIDU $BABA $DOYU $NIO etc You can also buy China ETF's such as KWEB for China tech that should capture a rebound
