I guess the reason would be if you expect the LLM craze to die down and the tech sector to tank and not recover until the next AI (potentially-AGI) architecture (like LeCun's AMI project) gets convincing enough to drive another hype wave. In that case BTC might still be better than any consumer-grade investment like most ETFs... eeexcept possibly gold miners. Anyway, I'm not getting back into it until I see some real consolidation. Got quit3 enough worries with the metals burning me hard for another 10% after I sold the top but maybe got back in too fast.

Bitcoin started its decline today about the time Scott Bessent went on NBC and said they're holding the course [https://youtu.be/LO1X6N0MfKw?si=bF2AMI\_l91\_TS4d4](https://youtu.be/LO1X6N0MfKw?si=bF2AMI_l91_TS4d4)

Can anybody help me understand the common YouTube scam comments I see? They always say "Wow, thanks for this [crypto] analysis. I've loaded up so much on [the crypto discussed in the video] and "AMI141X!" And you see dozens of comments referring to the second crypto. I understand those cryptos are Chinese scams but how does it work? Which exchanges are people buying them on? If I google that crap I can't even find it. How are they luring people into it?

I wonder if it has been misinterpreted from this statement and study: >*"Survey data from Latin America strongly suggests Argentina has one of the highest crypto adoption rates in the region. For instance, Americas Market Intelligence (AMI) found that 27% of Argentine respondents bought crypto “regularly” as of 2022, increasing 15% from 2021."* https://worldcoin.org/articles/argentina-cryptocurrency 27% buying regularly is very different to 1/3 using it daily for transactions. Just another case of where you can't trust anything you read on the internet unless it has reputable sources.

tldr; Zepeto, a South Korean metaverse platform, has partnered with Jump Crypto to launch ZTX (ZepetoX), a blockchain initiative. ZTX has raised $13 million in a seed round led by its venture capital partner, Jump Crypto. The funds will be used to introduce ownership to Zepeto's 3D environments and boost crypto adoption. Zepeto, valued at over $1 billion, aims to compete with popular metaverse platforms like Roblox, Fortnite, and Minecraft. The company has attracted over 400 million users since its launch in 2018. Zepeto plans to launch its inaugural Genesis Home Mint, offering 4,000 NFT houses on the Ethereum scaling network Arbitrum. The platform has also collaborated with Dust Labs on a community-centric initiative called Partner Wearables. Zepeto's primary Web2 platform has previously partnered with fashion and entertainment brands like Gucci, AMI Paris, Blackpink, and Starbucks. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. You are suggesting running Bitcoin miners will reduce methane. It won’t. You will increase overall energy used, burn more natural gas and release more methane. Tell me where I’m wrong but don’t say investment. If they want to invest, they should invest solar panels, wind farms and most importantly batteries. Stay off the grid and be truly carbon neutral. System stability goes both ways and won’t always be helped by adding load. The first solution to too much energy production is removing generation not adding load. Some generation can’t be quickly removed but solar and wind can. You also do system studies that tell you where and how much generation you can install to reduce the likelyhood of stability issues. The least environmentally friendly thing to do would be to add a bunch of non essential load. They are developing two way chargers that will allow charging a car from the grid as well as a car discharging onto the grid. I’m sure that batteries on houses will eventually become common and they will do the same thing. AMI metering will allow the utility to monitor these devices and customers will earn credits for taking part in these programs. If a mining operation wants to install 100% of their green generation and stay completely off grid then I will agree they are carbon neutral. They won’t do that because it is not economically feasible. They need carbon based energy because green energy alone is not reliable enough and green energy + energy storage is way too expensive. All these pie in the sky ideas of how PoW can be carbon neutral is just marketing propaganda that gets repeated ad nauseam by uninformed Bitcoin maxis.
