it's garbage, like Craig Wright is garbage AND avoid both, like the plague. I rarely use such words about anyone but he's one of the worst people on the planet, no exaggeration.😐 but don't rely only on what you read at Reddit [about anything]. go read up on Wright & BSG, do a search with Dogpile.com vs. Google [too many ads and SEO listed sites] but Dogpile aggregates search results from different engines and tends to have less nonsense than Google to wade through after the first page or two of returned results. also be discerning & look for videos about what's disgusting scammer/liar Wright is. he actually tried to claim he was Satoshi Nakamoto [his 'values' are so obviously 💯% opposite of whoever Satoshi really is or was] and tried to claim legal ownership of Bitcoin. he went to court several times & carried out a host of other completely dishonest behaviors. use the word "scam" and/or "scammer" in your searches about him & BSV. and if you can stomach it track down and watch the video clip of him at a crypto conference - if you can stomach it. think it was in Gibraltar but not certain because couldn't find the link last I looked for it. but in it he proved how much perverted & soulless person he is. Craig Wright is way past being only grotesque. and him.being such a bad actor.in the cryptoverse is one more reason it's important to be discerning and to do the deep dives into any crypto topic or project + re: the people involved with it who we consider might be trustworthy. because scammers & hackers are becoming more ubiquitous by the day.

Actually, it's better than that. We would have to be at a place where p = np (literally infinite computing power), before this is an issue. The nature of cryptography is that it's a one way function and essentially one direction (i.e. validator nodes) is orders of magnitude easier than reversing it (i.e. mining). This difficulty can be scaled infinitely, to match any computing power, including quantum computers. BTC without any changes, will be OK for a long time because of this scaling. When Sha-256 and private keys / seed phrases can be broken by quantum computers, we will just have to switch to a stronger algorithm. So the worst case scenario is, you'd have to migrate your funds to a new SHA-512 wallet once security researchers say SHA-256 can be compromised. That being said, - Banks and every other online entity, government and business will have this same problem, unless it's airgapped (BSG anyone?) - This will be gradual over the course of years, not sudden. Something like 20-80 years from now with a 5 year warning - Someone with this kind of computing power would likely be better off mining than doing something nefarious. That's one of the greatest things about PoW - it incentivizes strengthening the network and disincentivizes exploiting it - something Apple and Google have been trying (and failing) to do for many years
