Would have been nice to get those Matic gains but everyone misses out on something. No need to be bitter about Matic, that pump was needed to get some attention in the market, and they got it. They have a lot of partnerships, which net the Matic company not only gains but a foot in the door with those other companies for when they start new projects in the future. Also, some folks think ETH 2.0 will hurt Matic but the co-founder explained in an interview last week why eth 2.0 won’t hurt Matic [( 5:42 in the video)](https://youtu.be/aikgm1BZ9yI) I have a hunch they will continue to grow alongside ETH as time goes on.

Because eth2.0 is only expected to conduct 100k transactions per second (tps), when fully functional and MATIC is currently conducting 300k tps, and plans to increase that number. Now you know the truth about why eth2.0 won’t hurt Matic and how Matic and ETH are going to be in cahoots for many years to come and Matic won’t be hurt at all. Also, they have tons of side projects and have the most partnerships in the whole market. It got some hype this summer but folks haven’t even seen nothing yet with Matic !!!

This is why mining Helium is interesting. Those mining Helium are providing proof of coverage to the network instead of proof of work/stake. So instead of energy intensive calculations, you're providing a hotspot to IOT devices. As a result, mining HNT burns about as much electricity as a 5W bulb. My miner has increased our electric bill by ~$1/month. For those interested, Relay gives out miners for free on a profile share model. Nice for anyone interested in the crypto space but also concerned of the potential environmental impacts of some of the space's bigger coins. Yep, and every 30 days I get more and more with my stakes. It doesn't even need to be an easy 10x. I'm getting like a decent salary only by staking my stack for 30 days (I won't risk staking for more because you never know when something can moon out of nowhere). THE ONLY thing stopping Flashstake from being an top 100 (or even 50) token are the ETH high fees. But BZ Labs are already working on it and will use Optimism to get Flashstake on Layer 2, so we can say bye-bye to those stupid fees. After that, even the sky won't be a limit.
Actually, I think it's touch and go as to whether we'll continue up for a bit or rebound back down. I stand by my original statement, but only as a warning - of course, any analysis can be changed by a fresh injection of momentum. Here's how I see it: On the [daily](https://imgur.com/4BZ9Ito), we still have declining momentum (bearish divergence) on the MFI (middle chart), and creeping down from the highs in terms of difference between price and 20 week MA (SMAD, bottom chart). This says to me that we're not out of the woods at all. The previous two peaks on the SMAD were the _highest since the peak of the previous bull run_, meaning that we're still coming down off a hugely elevated high. I think that come-down has longer to run. What would make me change my mind is if we decisively smashed the ATH, which is possible, of course, but look at the momentum on the 3 hourly: https://imgur.com/w4EJEGQ. This mini-rally is losing steam _fast_. So, if this mini-rally doesn't break ATH and continues downwards with the momentum, then we're gonna see a big break down in the momentum on the daily too, and therefore the whole bull run is in jeopardy. I'm not going to bet the house on it, but at the moment, momentum on all timescales is pretty much downwards, so I would say it's more likely than not that we have a big correction from these levels.
