I'm totally fine with it. When my journey started I told myself that there will be tears on the way. But when it crashed I was totally fine, even though this was my first bear market. I think it's because a DCS stack is always growing. When measured in Bitcoin. ;)

The SEC is will soon implement DCS - Definite Crypto Securitization. The idea is to declare more and more cryptocurrencies as securities and it is a function of time rather than price.

I was a victim of DCS, that is how I got into crypto. I eventually cashed out with a couple grand in profit. I then rode the roller-coaster on several other coins, probably lost any profit I'd made, and I'm finally settled all in on LTC. At least LTC is a much safer syndrome. 😉

I've been seeing a therapist about DCS since Jan 2022 after my girlfriend found me in the closet whispering shining a 10M candle power flashlight in my eye whispering "100k eoy 100k eoy 100k eoy" to myself.

You could still DCS over lets say 3-6 buys. Split your 22k ish into 4, spend one now and then every month til its done. that would be the next 4 months and so if she drops you still have a chance of taking advantage of lower rates. If it goes up then you already had bought some and you wont feel like you waited.

Umm I’ll wait until the economy isn’t shitting itself then I’ll go back to my DCS strategy. I have heard nothing but bad news about the world lately and it’s only getting worse

DCA .. why buy when you think the price is high.. I know the theory behind DCA… but I personally don’t like it. DCS dollar cost selling.. on the way up is also not a good idea.. you might miss 100x

In other words: don’t panic sell, try to time the market. Do DCS and when there is fire (red), put more money in stocks, crypto etc. Also, stay employed!

Let's be real here. When most of us say we DCA It's not really that we have a large lump sum that we slowly trickle into the market. It is in actuality paying what we can afford to invest each month. This is really just called investing but when you look at cost of your total investment then it in effect is a DCS.

You DCA in a bear market. You DCS in a bull market.

What the point in DCA at what is 90% going to be the top of a bull market. I DCS “Dollar Cost Sell” on the way up. Or to put it in very simple terms “realise profits”

> What are you playing at the minute? Mostly IL2, murdering Nazi's in a Spitfire never gets old. Also starting to learn the Mirage 2000 in DCS. Oh, and a bit of Star Citizen when I'm not up for VR. Basically my gaming at the moment is all about flying and dogfighting in eras!

I regularly spend 3-4 hours at a time in VR playing IL2 and DCS, not all headsets are equal though, if it's not comfortable or gets too sweaty you're not going to want to wear it for long. G2 is what I use, which fits great and has amazing resolution so perfect for simulators, but the controller tracking isn't as good as things like the Index which have external light boxes.

Honestly, like so many things, NFTs can have good uses, but there is probably much more likelihood of developers utilizing them as some crappy way to make more revenue. In crypto one of the most fun types of NFT are POAPs, free badges that you can collect by attending conferences, meetups, video calls, community chats etc, they basically just act as diary markers for your crypto life. Sometimes they can be used to unlock access to certain Discord channels, sometimes they are used for raffles (such as the physical Beacon Books given to lucky members of the Bankless and EthFinance communites), sometimes they are used to allocate voting power in DAOs or increase grant matching for quadratic public goods donations. Basically you get them for free and different communities find/build different ways to use them. If this type of NFT was what the gaming industry adopted then they could be used as a universal 'achievements' mechanism, with inter-game usage. How about allocating a POG (proof of gaming) token automatically to early playtesters that allows them to jump up server queues, or for community run servers maybe the owners award POGs to people who contribute to technical discussions or mission design or whatever, then maybe that gets shown next to their name in player lists just as a little acknowledgment of their help. For inter-game use, I play a couple of combat flight sims, IL2 and DCS, both have multiplayer servers where you can participate in long, multi-hour campaigns. If I complete a long WW2 battle flying a Mig 3 in IL2, then wouldn't it be cool if a medal for that showed up when I was playing DCS on a Korean war server in a Mig 15. Completely different games by different developers, but there could be benefits for players treating them as kind of part of the same overall metaverse. I don't play MSFS, but if someone had completed the tutorials and gained some hours flying a Spitfire in that game, then how about having DCS detect that when you want to take the Spit out in combat and offering a reduced tutorial, just focusing on things not included in MSFS (gunnery presumably). There are so many cool uses for NFTs in gaming, but tradable items, cosmetics, lootbox keys or whatever is not the way to benefit gamers.

I view it that way. $3000 for an in game ship is crazy. I can buy a fleet carrier in Elite Dangerous without spending any money beyond purchasing the game and also have an entire galaxy to explore with it. I get pay to win but a 3k in game purchase is a bit insane. Especially in a game so small. I even understand sims like DCS World being so expensive but that's training grade simulation technology. I guess it just seems like youd have to be an idiot to play Star Citizen over its far superior and also cheaper alternatives.
