ATH = this was the first attempt at creating the coin that would eventually be called “ETH” - which you can tell from the fact that this name comes alphabetically before “E.” It took VB and his co-creators four failed attempts before they succeeded in creating ETH - the coin that powers the Ethereum blockchain. BTH, CTH and DTH have all been abandoned, but crypto enthusiasts still like to discuss ATH as a point of comparison whenever other coins or tokens are performing well. This is largely due to nostalgia over all the pie-in-the-sky predictions made about the unlimited value of this first attempted coin on the Ethereum blockchain. That’s why, whenever a coin or token hits a new record high value, crypto enthusiasts will write thinks like “ALGO at ATH today!”
Really the future is just connecting all the chains together. You should look in to [Hybrix](https://hybrix.io/en). They are working on loadbalancing technology. They support 32 blockchains now, they work over TOR and DTH. You can swap from 32 blockchain to 32 blockchains and they have a unified asset technology model for tokens. Once your token has become a unified asset, and you swap into it hybrix will auto pick the chain with the lowest fees. This effectively load balances all the chains. They also build a bank router, where you give your online bank control over to a blockchain so once the CEX are made illegal, routing fiat will still be possible in small tx that keep under the KYC limit.
TIL coinbase actually offers DTH staking in my country. Just signed up for the waitlist sigh, wish I knew this a couple of months ago. Was waiting for rocketpool but they still haven’t launched yet because of some bugs. Feels safer to take the easy route with coinbase for now.
DTH2 you can't touch until it's released and younearn 5%apy
Agreed. VET, DTH, ADA. And VTHO. This is the way
