How have you eaten shit? Why would I put my CRO anywhere else? I can get 12% on my ATOM and 15-16% on my CRO staking or I can get 50%+ on Osmosis. So the how is Osmosis. There is a LP pair or CRO/ATOM. I wanted to invest in both so I figured why not LO them? I'm in several LO pools on Osmosis so I get around $30 of OSMO daily that I convert to ATOM/CRO and place that into the LP to compound my earnings.
Well ... This was about a month into cryptoverse. I bought some tokens on Pancake swap. Within seconds another token arrived into my wallet. It was named like an URL. I was still waiting on my original token. Figured this could be air drop, like a reward for using other token. After all air drops are common. Went on to investigate and LO AND BEHOLD it is an exchange. You can exchange your Air droped token for any other crypto. AMAZING. All you need to do is connect your Meta Mask wallet ( which I did ), click a few buttons without reading ( because ofc you do ) and - all your tokens are gone. Get rekt newb. In retrospect it took a LOT of stupidity and naiivety to do all that. But here we are. That was 50% of my portfolio at the time. I am still butthurt about it.
Finally someone who gets it. Institutional money is involved now and they don’t sit around on Reddit reading hodl memes all day. They have to take money off the table in December to satisfy LO cash outs or gain/loss harvesting. It’s not unique to Bitcoin. There will be a pop in January when the money comes back.
LO available now. I believe they said staking in 2022. Could be wrong with that date though. They also mentioned lrc rebates of some sort in near future.

You and me both! Most of the times LO’s know if a deal is shaky or not, but waiting for that Clear to Close is always a bit uneasy. Especially on a purchase. Refi’s aren’t as big of a deal since your house isn’t on the line if the deal falls through.
