Yup; there was like a STORM of single-purpose chains back in the day. I think the point I snapped was Taxicoin, because obviously what I _really_ want when I'm trying to get home is to have to figure how to convert what I have, into Taxicoin, which the driver then can't use for anything but taxis. There's a few niche cases where specialist chains might make sense, especially if something in the economics is tweaked, but I cannot emphasise how much I don't see adult performers wanting to have to either spend Wankcoin for groceries, or exchange all of it out to something useful. Potentially the site they're using will handle it for them, the same way Twitch exchanges bits into USD before paying me, but then where's the decentralisation. Service providers for adult industry I have more confidence in being useful (SpankChain PornVisory seem to fall into this category), but I really can't see porn-specific tokens taking off, they're just a bad re-invention of how websites already work.
