Try getting a job for the time being so that you have liquidity. Save all the money that you can and look into stocks. Use that time to familiarized with the stock market. I understand this is a crypto subreddit, but hear me out. I assume you've already traded crypto so trading stocks wouldn't be foreign for you. The benefit of getting into stocks is because of Theta Gang. That is selling CALL or PUT options. Instead of being the YOLO option buyer, this time you're on the other side of the trade collecting the premium. You're on the 90%+ side of winning. This strategy allows you to hedge your own position or allows you to essentially paying yourself to get into a position for a cheaper price. I've been making consistent monthly income from this strategy and it had kept me afloat through this bear market. The Ripple Vs SEC lawsuit is coming to filing for undisputed evidence for summary judgement, this is due by the 13th September, which means we should see the case conclude by early spring 2023 latest, but if there is a settlement, which there may or may not be, it will likely happen next week. Then there is the issue with the ETH & Bill Hinman corruption, emails which undoubtedly prove collusion between Bill Hinman (former SEC director) and Joe Lublin (eth founder/concensys group CEO). Bill Hinman got $13m from ethereum founders when employed, through his law firm which got it directly from ethereum foundation & concensys. The SEC have been trying for 18 months to keep the documents secret and have done every possible thing they can to keep these documents secret from the court. Last update was the judge rejected SEC’s appeal to the judge’s previous order, ordering the SEC to show the documents. Now the SEC is appealing to a higher judge to keep the documents secret. The higher judge has already shown indication that the previous judge has made the correct decisions. The higher judge will likely order the SEC to expose the corrupt Ethereum & Bill Hinman docs within the next few weeks. The FINAL thing the SEC can do is appeal this higher judges rejection to the latest appeal to the Circuit judge. If this gets rejected by the circuit judge (extremely likely) then this becomes BINDING CASE PRECEDENT when the appeal is rejected by the circuit judge. Meaning any crypto company the SEC sue can easily get similar docs from the SEC without the SEC being able to argue against. Not something the SEC want. so summary: Ripple case could settle next week, any settlement will certainly mean XRP is a non-security now and going forward, but perhaps WAS a security in history and ripple will pay some fines for those. This will also mean SEC is forced to go after ETH as eth is more of a security than XRP due to its ICO and highly centralised management (concensys and eth foundation) wielding more control over the ethereum network than ripple does on XRPL (ripple only own 5% of the 80% node concencus needed). The documents showing corruption between ethereum and bill Hinman likely to be final and non-appealable order to show to the public. In this instance it’s highly likely the SEC will dismiss the case with prejudice (meaning they can never sue ripple again for unregistered securities claims with XRP). As the SEC has shocked lawyers internationally in their unique and unprecedented efforts to conceal these documents, unlike any other securities lawsuit most lawyers know, the plaintiff (SEC) is now on the defensive and trying to hide everything, usually we see this from defendants. This case is more important to crypto than anything that congress will do in the next year. Also the LBRY token case is equally as important, what the SEC are trying to claim there is “NO UTILITY MATTERS, EVEN IF ONLY 0.00001% OF THE PUCHASES OF LBRY WERE FOR INVESTMENT PURPOSES and 99.99999% FOR UTILOTY AND CONSUMPTIVE USE, THATS ENOUGH TO CALL IT A SECURITY”. If they win on this point it will make case precedent for every single crypto including bitcoin to be a security, ending crypto in USA.

L2 + UTxO I believe the problem using BTC this way is that its accounting system, UTxO, is not able to settle smart contracts effectively or essentially at all. “The [Ethereum Virtual Machine] has global state and ability for distinct objects to atomically interact with each other without pre-transaction coordination. You can fill-or-kill arbitrary interactions across distinct applications which are completely unaware of each other. [Bitcoin] does not have a OP_BALANCE to query an object outside of the output atomically, let alone an atomic OP_CALL in a synchronous global runtime. This is the concrete advantage the EVM has when it comes to being able to implement [smart contracts]. It has to do with the fact that A and B can synchronously and atomically call each other and cause native state changes either way, even if one is deployed with no knowledge of the other. [UTxO] has no global state and all secondary protocols are overlays must be aware of each other to interact. [UTxO] is a local pure function of data given with the transaction (except for a few state header state variables like timestamp which take constant space and remain constant while evaluating a single block).” On the differences between programming BTC and ETH “Bitcoin Script and EVM are either both turing complete or neither turing complete, but this doesn't matter. The EVM not only has a global shared state that can be touched by arbitrary computations and so the validation path is inherently sequential, but can also perform logic depending on the result of these sequential calls. UTXO strictly limits the form of dependent transactions which means they can still be validated in parallel. Therefore characteristics (decentralization, speed, security) of the underlying L1 are of course the most important factor here. It's unfortunate they don't touch on Starkware, but you can essentially group them in with zkSync for the purposes of the article. Those using this solution include Hermez and the Ethereum Foundation zkEVM. 2. Maintaining Solidity compatibility by designing a new virtual machine that is zero-knowledge proof-friendly and adapting EVM development tools. This solution is mainly used by zkSync; For the first strategy, since it fully supports the existing set of EVM opcodes and uses the same compiler as EVM, it is naturally fully compatible with the existing ecosystem and development tools, and also inherits the security model of Ethereum better. For the second strategy, it is not bound by the original set of EVM opcodes, so it is more flexible to compile the code into a more zero-knowledge proof-friendly set of opcodes.
