I would buy some WAXE and ETH and invest more into WAX DeFi.

The wallets that already exist for whatever chain you're minting your NFTs on are what you'd use. And no you're not paying fees when you use your crypto wallet. I could mint tickets on any number of blockchains, ETH, WAXE, Harmony, etc. Then I can market the tickets. Sell them on the chain. When people show up for the show I ask to see the transaction hash as well as the NFT in the wallet on their phone. The wallet which is already developed. Because there are tons of crypto wallets. The people developing blockchains and wallets for said blockchain have no concern with this. NFT usage is nothing more than a byproduct of an already existing tech. I hope that helps you make better sense of what I'm saying.

LMAO I certainly am not holding WAXP/WAXE for an investment. I don't even think there is a path to liquidity for it and would highly recommend nobody invest in it for that purpose. But WAX does host some cool NFTs like those from Atari, Capcom, GPK, Robotech, etc. I don't use DO but it's probably the most talked-about platform over on /nft.

Discussion and DD on $WAXP Disclaimer: I’m heavily involved with creating NFTs and investing in NFTs on the WAX blockchain. So, I want to talk about $WAXP. I’m new to crypto as of February so I want people to tell me their honest opinion on this, whether that be bullish or bearish or neutral. I’m going to long hold either way, but I want to learn more about it from the community here since you all are probably more knowledgeable than me regarding crypto. I’m definitely bullish on $WAXP. Here’s what I’ve learned about $WAXP and the WAX blockchain since I’ve been involved, please let me know what you think! It’s the most active blockchain in the world. The most popular projects on it, IMO, are R-Planet, AlienWorlds, and Topps MLB. It uses DPOS as a consensus mechanism, so it’s very environmentally friendly compared to POW chains. It’s fast and feeless to send or receive $WAXP. It’s also fast and feeless to mint or transfer or sell NFTs. It’s an NFT-centric blockchain, forked from EOS, that has several large companies using it. It’s starting to work with these companies to tie an NFT to a physical good, so that a person can redeem an NFT for something in the real world. It’s currently doing this with Funko. It has a strong marketplace (AtomicHub) and community on Discord. There are many independent creators doing cool stuff, but it feels like there are just as many people looking to exploit others with rug pull NFT projects and such. $WAXP is the token that you use to transact and buy NFTs. $WAXE is a token that allows you to participate in the DeFi component to the WAX blockchain…it’s tricky to understand though. There is a WAX to ETH bridge that allows users to burn $WAXP and receive $WAXE and ETH somehow (I honestly don’t know how this works). $WAXG is the governance token. It’s a bit tricky to get $WAXP right now…the best way I’ve found is using exchanges like Bittrex and Kucoin. It’s not listed on Coinbase or Binance. $WAXP is a deflationary token since it’s burned over time through “tokenomics fees” that occur when sales are made on AtomicHub (and other marketplaces). The atomicassets smart contract seems to be very central to all of WAX, but I don’t know enough about smart contracts to know why or how. WAX was founded by William Quigley, who was a C-level employee at Disney and founded Tether. The WAX Cloud Wallet is a custodial wallet that makes it super easy for people to get started on WAX, but power-users typically use Anchor (a self-managed wallet) so they can control their keys. To use the WAX blockchain, you have to stake resources on it. So basically, you stake $WAXP for CPU and Network resources. You can always unstake your $WAXP, it doesn’t get consumed, but you must wait 3 days for it to go back to your wallet. In order to get RAM on the blockchain, you need to buy the RAM…you can always sell the RAM back later. There’s a powerful tool called NeftyBlocks that makes it relatively easy to create pre-minted drops, packs, and blends on WAX. This enables projects to do some cool stuff. The only catch is that your NFT collection must be “whitelisted” by AtomicHub in order to use NeftyBlocks. Luckily it’s not that hard to get whitelisted.

I would stake in the WAXE / ETH pool

There's also plain [$WAX](https://etherscan.io/token/0x39bb259f66e1c59d5abef88375979b4d20d98022) (same as WAX-P?) and $WAXG (governance). There's no simple answer because it's a (probably overcomplicated) system. \> purchasing wax e would be investing in WAX whereas wax p are tokens to use for purchases on WAX? No, $WAXP is the protocol token i.e. it constitutes both "investing" in the platform AND it's used for transactions (like $ETH for Ethereum). $WAXE is also another token that for some reason you need if you want to participate in [WAX's DeFi](https://medium.com/wax-io/wax-tokenomics-defi-is-now-live-heres-how-to-participate-ded30c7c4134) thingy which basically consists of staking WAX-E and ETH in a LP (liquidity pool) to get ETH and WAXG. Looks like you can also [stake WAXP directly](https://medium.com/wax-io/earn-more-wax-introducing-wax-staking-rewards-staking-and-voting-guilds-and-more-c61c4988ed1d) which includes the ability to vote (governance) though, so 🤷

I also like these two other ETF-type tokens: Meta verse Index (MVI) which holds ENJ, MANA, SAND, WAXE, AXS (all about gaming) CoinShares Crypto Gold (CGI) which holds WDGLD, WETH, WBTC (so holding both gold and top 2 cryptos)

As far as I know you can't convert WAXE on ethereum back into WAXP. WAXE gives you benefits in the form of staking for governance tokens, but it can't be used to buy NFTs like WAXP can.

Very good question, as far as I know WAXE cannot be converted back to WAXP so I am holding and staking WAXP only.

You can burn WAXP tokens to get WAXE tokens and then use WAXE tokens in a DEFI platform

r/SatoshiStreetBetsSee Comment

check out WAXP then they have staking and can burn WAXP to WAXG to WAXE with Eth and earn Eth.

WAXP holders can swap their WAXP in exchange for WAXE, which they can then stake to earn rewards in WAXT. When you swap your WAXP for WAXE, the WAXT that you swapped is converted to WAXM. WAXM holders can swap their WAXM in exchange for WAXC, which they can then stake to earn rewards in WAXL.

WAXE allows you to stake your wax to get rewards. You cannot just stake WAXP straight up since you have to burn them first. It's just another form of wax. The current ratio is 1000 WAXP per WAXE, but with the price of WAXP skyrocketing it doesn't quite make sense to make that trade currently unless you plan to stake long term.

WAXP will eventually become scarce as people melt... The Price of WAXP will go much higher and so will WAXE

what do you mean DRY UP? Seems like the price movement is actually at WAXP and not WAXE
