BNGO isn't close to becoming the "standard bearer of genomics." That 2021 price spike was pure hype - nothing fundamental supported it. The Revvity partnership is good but won't save them. They're burning cash fast and had to [reduce headcount and discontinue non-core products](https://beyondspx.com/article/bionano-genomics-bngo-navigating-the-challenges-of-a-shifting-landscape) just to stay afloat. Their Q3 revenue dropped 35% YoY. The tech looks promising with all those ASH presentations showing OGM utility. But they need way more adoption and revenue growth to justify any major valuation. Right now they're just trying to survive until their tech catches on. That reverse stock split proposal tells you everything you need to know about where they stand.

BNGO investor here. I have been pumping money in it for years. Finally, Revvity and the partnership. I really think this is the life raft I have been looking for. I truly don't think Revvity will walk away from the Stratys System and OGM. They have a ton of money and they sought out the relationship for BNGO's technology. Also, I think, if nothing else they will be the catalyst needed for FDA approval. Now, with Revvity, I don't see the ship sinking.
Most of the stocks in this list is Pharma or Medical so beware of failing FDA Approval. WKHS is only up to .85 cents when it was at over 600$ so I really doubt you lost the "run up" lol. And Canoo is a joke. It WILL lose its contract with the US Postal service when Trump takes power as it is seen as wasteful government spending when the per vehicle price is tens of millions of dollars per unit for a Mailtruck which is Supposed to be the most rudimentary of vehicles. And BNGO is down 85% past year. How are any of these "running away" and why would anyone invest in these turds?

If so, could you assume the majority of those are put options? Is there anyway of knowing how many are call or put options and how long they’ve been active?

Early 20s M. I started looking at stocks after COVID. And convinced myself all the way back up to where the stocks fell from that there would be a huge global recession and that investing at the time would be a silly idea as everything was surely going to collapse. I did invest in Tesla which I recently sold for a tiny profit right before trump was elected and it rocketed up. Just my luck. I also Invested in BNGO and left it. That soon turned £750 in to about £10. I learned my lesson there not to invest in penny stocks and just ignore them. Took investing more seriously this year and since June I am up about 12% overall. A mixture of ETFs, large cap stocks and some penny stocks. The penny stocks actually performed the best as I was focusing on battery tech stocks. Mainly FREYR, MVST and KULR. the unfortunate thing is I only put tiny amounts in each so I missed out on any huge gains but it all contributes to my overall return. I think my experience so far has left me with a bad case of FOMO. Looking back at the markets are bound to leave you feeling like you invested too late I believe. After all if the markets performed poor over the last 5, 10, 50 years I doubt many of us would have any interest in stocks. Happy to discuss any stocks you find interesting and share any ideas.
I wonder if BNGO would be part of this. I know it's a penny stock and I do not hold a position in it but BNGO and CRSP are then only 2 stocks that immediately come to mind
In Aug 2021 I purchased 2500 USD of BNGO @ what was 5.60USD at the time. It has since been R/S to hell and is worth 0.25¢ today (0.02¢). It has never gone up since I purchased, and I'm down 98%. I'm not good at cutting my losses on a downturn. Capital gains deduction one day I guess?
Im buying up BNGO because it’s cheap. Seems like a good bio stock with some potential although earnings haven’t been great they have a good price target and plans to focus on revenue. I usually only buy stocks that are cheap high risk and whatever the “analysis” says not to invest in is what i usually invest in. Almost always works out for me long term.

Started posting about QMCO two weeks ago, and am mentioning QMCO again as the company reports after the close today. More importantly, following a year+ audit the company will be announcing a re-statement of past years earnings. A re-statement that will be re-stating earnings HIGHER. (Note: QMCO previously traded in the teens, so a bounce back into the teens would simply place QMCO where it previously traded.)

How is it not a scam? I bought ~$1000 worth of BNGO ~122 shares for $8.16 each June 9, 2021 on Robinhood. They did a 1:10 reverse split August 7, 2023. Today May 20, 2024 my $1000 is worth $13.

If you missed banking on BNGO a couple of years ago (35 cents to $15 in six weeks...), you'll want to watch QMCO. The company is going to release positive news tomorrow, and I expect the current 55 cents will quickly turn into $5.00. And no hyperbole, as QMCO previously traded as high as $50.00+. Research QMCO and you'll see.

These are things I remember being said about ATOS and BNGO two years ago. Not that I don't agree with you, the company or it's mission, but this stock market hasn't made sense in years and holding long term may just mean someone just keeps averaging down forever.
BNGO hit rock bottom but the financial report in june was very solid and improved. The stock is undervalued now and will become stronger as the company will supply stronger financial reports this year.
