The go private procedure is ongoing in BARK, according to the latest announcement by the Special Committee. They planned meetings with the two suitors and also give time to any other wants to make an offer.
The BARK is more secured, because the one offer comes from the co-founder and CEO of the company and also because the second suitor is Marcus Lemonis, who don't quit easily. The PETS suitors are unknown to me, the one has increased his percentage in the open market before his proposal, though.

BARK formed a Special Committee and retained top-10 worldwide financial and legal advisors, in front of a bidding war. Confirmation of the $1.10 offers a 30% gain from here, withdrawal of this offer leave the holders with the $0.90 of the insiders. Still, there is no chance of loss.
I'm doing the same I did in November 2021. Then I lost a part of the last rally by this way, but the results was still positive. I'm looking mainly for stocks with a different story than the mainstream: No more AI, no data centers, no quantum etc. Not even by defensive big caps. I peak stocks with a very specific scenario which still have a risk, but this risk is not based in rumors. An example are the go-private stocks. In such stocks, someone (in the best cases more than one and the insiders included) have made a go-private proposal to a higher than the price I bought. I may need a lot of time to wait in a environment where the suitors of the company (insiders or not) try to scare retail investors to make them sell, but I'm market-proof by 90%. To be more specific: BARK Inc. received two offers in cash to go-private, one by its management at $0.90 and one preliminary by a third part group at $1.10. BARK stock trades around $0.84 now. The insiders proposal will be approved easily from the Special Committee, they actually are the same team. The other suitors' group will confirm their proposal after Feb. 15th they will complete their DD. In this group participates also a minority holder, a fund. So, no matter what the market, NASDAQ, gold, crypto will do in the next two months, I'm investing in an almost certain $0.90 and a very possible $1.10 by buying it around $0.84.
BARK Special Committee retains Moelis & Company LLC as financial advisor and Sidley Austin LLP as legal advisor to assist the Special Committee in the review and evaluation of the previously disclosed preliminary non-binding indicative proposal letters the Company has received and any proposals from other parties. Moelis & Company is a top 10 ranked M&A advisor in the US with 20 offices in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. BARK with insiders offer at $0.90, Marcus Lemonis preliminary offer at $1.10 and current price at $0.92 is a safe play with very limited downside and a potential 15% gain. That, if the insiders don't make a new higher offer to surpass the $1.10 of Lemonis.

it's non-binding preliminary offer...if they close it before May 26, the OCC will issue memo regarding treatment of BARK options (in cash buy-out with no other consideration, this is normally cash settlement of option so you would get 40 cents, typically payable on the opex after closing). If they don't close before then, it's like any other option.

I was trying to have a serious portfolio this year and day one I’m already jacked to the tits on BARK (Barkbox) stock.
I don’t know when a positive catalyst is coming, but I think BARK is such a great buy at current prices. This could see a massive market adjustment on any catalyst. Current market cap WAY below their revenue. Biggest concern would be a RS but I don’t think they have one approved currently (I could be wrong). Not a day trade but could pay out enormously within a few months. My PT based off current revenue/debt/market cap is $2. Hype or major positive catalyst could certainly send it higher.
BARK market cap at 1/4 of their annual revenue, and debt is near 0? Could see a major price correction (4x current share price) on this on their next news drop.

How do you feel about PRPL, NDLS, BARK, AND IGC
Well im a huge loser rn so take with a huge grain of salt. But BLMZ, PRPL, NDLS, BARK, AGGY have all been on my radar for having possible pops. However I have not bought into any of these other then NDLS which I sold before its last pop.
I use fin viz's free stock screener. If you want to look at Penny's you can sort by stocks under a dollar. Then you can filter by volume to see what is currently being more "actively traded". Some stocks I like are SCWO, MOBX, NDLS and BARK, you should do your own research. I try to buy near 52 week lows, but a lot of times you can find a new low. So you can start with a small initial amount invested, and if it drops begin to add more (dollar cost average) to bring your price point down. Unless you have what you believe to be a good "entry point".

Sometimes you just have to make decisions on feelings not facts, that’s all my DD was. Stock has been sitting at $.85-.90 for months. No real movement in either direction. Nobody is shorting the piss out of it yet, so I figured it’s prime to pump up while calls and shares are cheap. “Any regards in here want to join me in a YOLO penny stock rally? Holding onto BARK. the CEO and CFO bought a good chunk of stock last month and they're working on revamping their business model to diversify revenue streams. Analysts seem to rate it as a good buy from what I've seen, target price of $2-3 this year. It's not like a huge play or anything but I'm holding onto it cus it's fun and dogs are cute.

This may be silly but, BARK has been rising really well for the past month (25% just in the last week) and an article I read said it is rated as "outperform" status and the price is expected to rise to about $2-3 in the next year. It's currently at about $1.08. Idk, it might be dumb but BARK was in my watchlist from the meme plays years ago and I saw it rising today and decided to throw a few thousand in. It was an interesting day for sure. WOOF up 13.2%. CHWY down 6.2% and BARK slightly up at 0.6%. Roaring Kitty’s tweet definitely gave all these stocks a temporary boost yesterday but perhaps it’s having a lasting impact on WOOF? Who knows
