Buy CFLT. $30 soon. Ok, I am a bagholder.
Curious why you see $25B as reasonable at a $1B run rate when compared to the broader SaaS market right now? My view, maybe FIG’ growth rate proves more durable than the rest of the field and they truly are an outlier, but history says they probably took actions to juice top line for the IPO and will see that revenue growth start to track down to 20-30% pretty soon. If that happens most of the other ~$1B rate software types are trading between $4-$12B (PCOR, TTAN, PATH, GTLB, S, MNDY, CFLT, etc) right now.
In nothing short of a miracle all of my four earnings CSP bets won, SOFI, PYPL, CFLT, WGS
I bought $CFLT cause I was bored.
CFLT $25 tomorrow or back to $22?
\-0.06% over Nasdaq index today. I blame dovish CFLT and CRWV crash.
Is anyone holding $CFLT?
\+0.79% over QQQ today if excluding CFLT gains. \+1.58% if not. Tomorrow will be red for my portfolio.
\-0.35% over QQQ today if excluding CFLT gains. \+0.56% over QQQ today if including it. On track for SPY $700 and QQQ $650 by end of this year.
Haha, here's my hot take as much as I'd love a YOLO rally, I reckon it's more of a gambler's game rn. The tech sector has been super volatile lately, plus CFLT's fundamentals ain't exactly fairy dust and unicorns, ya know? But hey, that's just me. 🤷♂️ Remember not to go all in based on Reddit posts alone. 😬 Always DYOR

CFLT will be $25 tomorrow.
Sounds like your plan is to bet on the timeline the market will take to flip from irrational exuberance back to rational analysis. Not necessarily an impossible task, but I wouldn’t want to play that game personally. Much safer to find a strong, under appreciated company and wait for the market to notice the performance you noticed early than attempting to time the market’s flip back to rationality in my opinion. As an example, I’m happily sitting in Confluent - CFLT - Right now. They’re the leaders in live data streaming and connecting information from multiple disparate sources and are becoming increasingly necessary in the age of super apps like uber (Which is built partially upon confluent). Of course I could be wrong too, but attempting to time the markets’ feelings seems inherently risky to me.
There are several software stocks that took a hit and could be poised to recover: ADBE, CRM, TTD, DUOL, CFLT, among others.
CFLT is definitely the name I feel more strongly about. They have a very impressive customer list and seem to be well respected in the kafka subreddit. Considering the founders are the same people that created LinkedIn, you KNOW they have all the right numbers already. 🤣
I like both names for different reasons, but I think it’s important to check what the numbers are actually meaning. CFLT is a bet on long-term secular growth but SBC dilution risk, while VG is riding regulatory and export tailwinds with a management team that’s proving pretty savvy (if a bit ruthless). I need to dig deeper, but I think I would go with CFLT.
For speculative trades that have a chance to go crazy with enough time, I like Confluent - CFLT. Their software makes modern super apps like Uber possible and I only expect apps that need to share real time data between the front and back ends to become more and more common. Another speculative name I’m in is Venture Global - VG. They are the second largest LNG exporter in the US and Trump looks poised to pump lng exports his full presidency. Their share price has been beaten down partially for arbitration risk with some large players in the industry, but VG has recently been awarded an arbitration victory and the others may have similar outcomes since the facts of the cases are so similar. BTW - they’re in arbitration for allegedly side stepping their contract obligations. Instead of selling the low value priced product that the contract would have had them do, they sold for a premium in the international market, raked in an extra 3.5 billion in profits and are now being told they get to keep that profit in at least one instance. The technicality that allowed them to postpone selling at the lowered price is that the facility isn’t fully “commissioned” be definition yet even though it is in fact producing sellable product. Sure arbitration risk is scary, but I actually love that story of scrappy deal making for increased profit. It shows me management is shrewd and thinking about how to juice their returns. I might feel differently if they had lost their first decision, but this might actually pay off for them considering the regulatory tailwinds this administration is likely to offer them over the next three years.
As a CFLT holder, what's the DD on it? I saw lots of call flows stacking
Same fate as CFLT. Dead stocks. Buying tomorrow. I like to lose money.
Anyone else riding CFLT calls ?
Very confusing trade on CFLT
I can’t fucking believe I sold CFLT at the bottom. Fuck my life, fuck this game
I sold CFLT at the bottom. I am fully regarded
Need someone to provide an opposite on take on this before I invest. Need something to buy after CFLT did me dirty
Confluent (CFLT) someone post a DD on this. Not sure if its a good buy or not at this price
If management gets its act together $CFLT could be a good play 2-5 years out.
Confluent (CFLT) you have been the biggest disappointment in my life
CFLT keeps going down, when will the bleeding stop
CFLT you piece of shit move up
Confluent (CFLT) down 33%, not sure if this is a good entry point or its a sinking ship?

What's the difference between CFLT n DAVA?
Whats everyones feeling on CFLT (confluent)? It went down 30% after earnings was this a good correction or overreaction?
Whats everyones feeling on CFLT? It went down 30% after earnings was this a good correction or overreaction?
Guess 30% down for CFLT wasnt the bottom. Might need to reconsider buying into this....
one thing is CFLT management likes doing is to be conservative on guidance, thinking that’s a virtue, without understanding too that investors need reasons to stay invested not just hold for no hope. i do think if they have a sense of urgency & crisis, keep pushing for growth via more levers such as partnership network, meanwhiles a modest reduction of workforce, plus a small buyback program. Then this stock can potentially 5x in a couple years. their profitability is improving already. if the product suite can become a platform, then next step is the efficiency drive. CFLT board has multiple financial tech investors so they should provide better advice to management.
> Kathy Wood is in CFLT. Reason enough to not buy, lol
Worst week since end of April. Down $100k. CFLT - $25k UNH - $6k NVO - $1.5k And many other unrealized losses that I am lazy to count. lmao
CEO is not a charismatic communicator. Agentic AI needs to be fully rolled out. Companies on single cloud, don’t need CFLT and can just use the cloud’s native offering solution. Kathy Wood is in CFLT. Large client is downscaling and decide to handle Kafka in house. Some feel is a sign to come. Does feel over sold and should slow creep up until next earnings. Also 40% of revenue goes directly to employee stock compensation. that’s a killer right off the top. But considering the company was a start up not too long ago it makes sense. Company also rode the IPO wave in 2021 and went public probably early then planned. Employees stock compensation should start to level in the coming years so that will help
Lost $20k from CFLT position. Another $2k from UNH and $1k from NVO. I am good at picking losers.
Yeah I think so. CFLT just provides Kafka as a service, which is not really hard to manage yourself. But DDOG monitoring your whole application which is integrated with almost all cloud providers is not the same.
DDOG dump due to CFLT is stupid af. They are not even close to being the same services. If the MMs had any clue wtf apache Kafka does they won’t be dumping it now. Fuck these illiterate fucks
CFLT and PUBM might turn into big companies one day
CFLT,APLD,CRWV is the magic formula!! IYKYK
It meant to say DD on CFLT and I accidentally used DP (data points, which I use in my business a lot)
What’s the DP on CFLT it’s like $23 a share right now?
Not a penny stock but if you want to make some serious money buy CFLT asap and tell me about it later 😉
If you guy's want to more than double your money soon buy CFLT and thank me later 😉
Since you brought Ms. Cathie into it let's assume you want to short some of her real non-profit-forever masterpieces like UPST, TDOC or AI. How about you think CRM CRWD or ZS just HAVE to come down someday every one of them sports $50 in pillow soft share price downside, right!? Like the more obscure stuff under $50 a share instead? GTLB CFLT, FSLY OKTA TOST sure I've grazed at all of them. Quite successfully in at least four cases. Every stock I trade is capable of losing 7% in a single session or 15% in a single expiry, or else they don't make the travelling squad. Naturally I've added to my hit list this year as they proved it one by one instead. *You're about to find out that they aren't cheap one year out and that everyone else has identified the same three dozen hopeless bad faith hypestocks that you have.* Probably from as far back as I did pre-COVID, Insider Enrichment Vehicles really don't change their stripes that much after all. Get used to $5 premiums at strikes that are $20 or more off the current valuation, even as close in as this October. One year out the biggest open put interest will be assuming a 30% share price hit by then on ALL the usual suspects mentioned here IMHO the real big money on stocks like these is in WAY ITM puts (when purchased) by people like Jane Street & Citadel; they have the same level of conviction you do and (my opinion) must look at as a Bond quality investment. For someone without such a huge bankroll you are probably better off staying inside of six weeks and hoping for one chance to make 60-200 percent along the way, mostly just because just these ones are 50% off on Pump Days. After that NOBODY lets you make bank in a Put that's still $2 OTM when you sell with a 2026 expiry *but with the right kind of turd stock they sure do when it's just two weeks down the road.* If your list is as good as mine then you get to make 600% or more sometimes instead; regardless you will lose gobs of $$ learning when to hold em no matter what.
COHR DOCN CFLT are my tech / cloud picks I’ll be scooping up as these prices are absurd. XYZ (formerly SQ) is trading at like a P/E of 8.5 now. Lots of good deals amid this pure panic.
Market hasn’t fully dumped yet imo. I want to see a relief rally that subsequently gets devastated and people are puking. I’m watching names like NU, MELI, GLBE, NFLX, FOUR, CFLT, TMDX.
It’s close. Looking at names like NU, GLBE, CFLT, HIMS, FOUR
If RMBS goes below $50 I’m buying in big. Also like MU at $85, CNM at $42, and CFLT under $28, if we see any of those prices again soon.
Yes, Roths and traditional IRA’s are the best place to buy speculative stocks because you don’t incur any capital gains taxes when you sell. Like one poster said, take 10-20% of your total amount invested and allocate to some riskier investments. For me I like huge growth opportunity small and mid cap individual stocks. Like HIMS, CFLT, APP, RKLB, GLBE, FOUR, MELI, NU, etc. Learn some basic skills like charting. Understand it will take and time and effort to learn best practices.
I understand. Thank you, i really appreciate the advice, will be doing that. New to investing and made a good profit on a lot of stocks ($UPST/SEZL/CFLT/BABA/TSM) this week, good thing its a long weekend, gonna take my time and learn how to fully use trading view and the right way of researching this stuff. I know Im just on my beginners luck rn and really dont wanna go down the loss pathway. (Already slightly burnt on LYFT and SOUN😂, gonna hold the bag for now ig) again truly appreciate you taking the time with the advice
I destroyed it today on INTC weeklies and CFLT calls. I am sure I will piss all those gains away on PLTR puts
CFLT up 14.7% 🎉🎉🎉 Software’s run just getting started….
Some of these smaller cloud companies like DOCN and CFLT trade in wave like patterns over 3-5 month periods which makes dip buying on them fairly predictable.
CFLT partnership with India's JIO

hope CFLT holds. also got options for CVS earnings tomorrow
Holy shit bro. Thanks for the free play. CFLT 2 da moon

Can someone let CFLT know I'm down 70% since they floated, thanks.
Other software infrastructure stocks like CFLT, MDB, SNOW, etc. were up yesterday too. I’m guessing it’s because DeepSeek’s efficient AI model is making large-scale AI and LLMs look a lot more viable. If these models become the norm, it naturally means more usage of the services provided by those infrastructure companies. Basically, AI adoption keeps rising, and they’re the ones who stand to benefit the most.
Why DDOG, CFLT, NET and similar software companies have not moved in 2024?
If you want to take a risk on cheap calls with a potential huge pump from earnings, BKSY. 11/15 7.5 calls. 17% implied move, almost same as my CFLT pick from last week. I got in at .30 it’s currently going for .45. Last earnings it closed 13.7% higher after ER. Spread *can* get wide so if you get in cheap when it pumps you can potentially benefit from a wider spread offloading at a higher than mark price. It’s down 40% YTD and up 20% in the last month. Not FA, pure speculation that I think has a higher chance to pay off than not. o7
So no ones else played CFLT and SFM?? Welp, guess I’ll celebrate the gains by myself
Bro I shoulda fucking YOLOd on CFLT. Up 19% rn
What's your price target for CFLT? I got some OTM calls wondering if i should sell at open or not
I trust you on CFLT. Let me dig in KVYO for next week
I’m not expecting as big a move on KVYO as CFLT but i still think it’s a calls play.
I been following CFLT for a few months now. I’ve looked at their history, I’ve checked their financials, it even had fucking price targets above $40 and was at $20 when I found it. So I got in like a month ago which is why my calls are Jan. It has a track record for monstrous revenue growth and shit. I mean it doubled the estimated EPS. It has like 1/3 of its market cap in cash. Bullish af.
missed out! I expect CFLT to continue pumping tomorrow.
If you trusted me on CFLT today trust me on KVYO next week.
CFLT up 17% after earnings lfggggg
For those of you if listened to me about CFLT, you’re welcome
Thanks for the tip on CFLT...got the same calls as you...what are you planning on doing? Sell or ride them some more? I'm looking at the charts and it's broken that resistance around $21 so could continue upwards?
Everyone who bought CFLT, you’re welcome 😎
